Really!  I like the waterproof pencils. Wonder if I need both. I would say that the one in the video is the liquid liner?

I'm sort of thinking the pencil shown on Bloomies may just be a placeholder - I don't see that you can buy it - until they get the image of the real thing (the liquid)???? I hope they do offer both but do you think they would?

Ahh, I didn't think of that. I doubt they would do both. You are probably right. I still want it in pencil form

Yeah, I would prefer that too....well, we can hope. Probably until about  at this rate!

I just called my Nordies & they couldn't tell me anything yet. She said it shipped to them Oct. 1 She did look in the book & it only showed the liquid liner :( Maybe we'll get lucky & the pencil will be an exclusive.

It does. Only time will tell! Maybe chanel.com will have an exclusive on the liquid and the dept stores will get the pencil.

The Chanel mgr. from Bloomies NY just called me back. And.....they have no idea about the pencil listed on the site. She said that Grenat is close. And, they are not going to get the liquid liner. It may be released later with a mascara???

Probably the Le Volume de Chanel mascara that they're going to preview on chanel.com. They told me that mascara had been pushed back too. lol  I was thinking the Variation and Intuition quads might come out at the same time as that mascara?

Yep, thats the mascara. Well, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Thanks for the links. Mystery is really, really pretty. Reminds me of a color I had from Laura Mercier years ago. I'm in the market for a medium pink gloss so thanks for the karlasugar links. I wonder how well Glossimers work on pigmented lips?

Anyway, I think the Nordies stores are having GWP during their Fall Trend Event. Seattle is having theirs on the 27th. I think Portland had theirs last week. It may be worth it to call around and see what's in the bag before selecting a store if they havent had their event yet. I know Notorious is being held for me, but after sending 3 emails I'm not sure if the quad and Malice are reserved for me or if they have been delayed in shipping or whatever. The counter manager I'm working with has been a PITA as far as communication.

Well, I have very pigmented lips & the glosses have got to have some deeper color to show up on my lips :( But, some of the newer more colorful ones worked very nicely. I can't do sheer. I am loving Mystery.

My lips have some brown on them. The bottom lip becomes suddenly pink in the middle about 2/3's of the way up. I should probably try coloring in my lips with pencils, but that seems so high maintenance for gloss. I like my makeup to have the fewest number of steps possible.

I stopped by Bloomingdales today and picked up:

I really wanted to save these purchases for the event in November but I was afraid it would sell out plus I had 2 reward cards and one was expiring today so I had to use it or lose it.  The SA said they were having an event now and someone could do my makeup.  I declined as I was so tired.  I think I'm still going to go to the event since I really want to buy Plum attraction and Black Pearl.

The quad is sooooo soft and pigmented. It's the perfect complement to Topkapi. I'm totally mixing the colors from both quads next time...
