^^ True, I wouldn't want to pay $100 or more for a highlighter either.  I guess to me it's just weird/different to not see a signature/exclusive highlighter for a big holiday collection, but the quad does seem to be the stars of this year's collection, which means more $$ for more products! :)

Thank you, I have on Palpitante RA with Framboise lip liner underneath :)  Wonderful color and great formula!  I can wear this combo all day and once it dries a bit it won't smudge or budge on anything!  I need more colors from RA line! :) 

It's very pretty. I have four of the new RAs so far. I'm getting Déterminée next week at a Chanel event and was also trying to decide between Palpitante or Passion to go with it. I think you've just swayed me to get Palpitante.

My SA called to let me know there's a event Wed. gift with purchase. So I'll probably pick up Enjouee and I'm interesed in the dark blue ombre eyes too... So I'll just have to see what's at the counter...

Wow... That photo has done nothing to decrease my want list. Everything in it looks stunning... I was even willing to pass on the glossimers, but they look so pretty there...

Please post what the gift turns out to be. I'm going to an event Saturday and would like to know what to expect. I've been trying to wait to make my next purchase until then.

Do we know when this collection will hit the stores?

Hi! I have been told from the ladies who work at the Chanel counter where I go that it will be hitting stores October 1st however i always anticipate things to come out before the given dates.
 

I wonder if the new Illusion D'Ombre is the same as or similar to Vision which came out in the European and Asian markets? One of my friends who lives in Japan sent me Vision and it is absolutely lovely! I can't wait for swatches of this new collection.

I just saw the colour story for this on Temptalia, and I am so screwed!

I want that quad, please and thank you. Also, I might get that loose powder. I passed up on the one from last year. I didn't really know what to do with it, but now I am obsessed with the thought of a loose powder. This one is like a pinky shade, right? I just have a vision in my head of sprinkling it on my face like I'm some kind of fairy. I don't even know, so don't even ask.

^^ I know, I toyed with the idea of dusting the shimmery loose powder all over my face but I chickened out and didn't buy it last year.

Great ! I'll take the blush, loose powder, the quad, the Rouge Allure and the nail polish.

I went to Sephora, I "pre-ordered" Chanel and Dior Holiday items. On the whole, Holiday collections are really beautiful this year, more than the 2011 collections. Dior is launching a pretty collection too ( nothing at all in 2011 so far I remember ), Chanel les Scintillantes was pretty but there was no blush, M.A.C Glamour and Daze is pretty too, well save up money ladies !for there is much to be admired in all those Holiday collections !

Sephora sells Chanel makeup? I never see it on their website. Just Chanel fragrances.
