anyway, i think i'm on the bandwagon for blush + both duos. the orange single, i'm kinda thinking i'm okay with mac orange and saffron. right?
Well, since we have Karen's swatch of Persia now, here's her swatch of Saffron to compare.

Persia looks a bit deeper and redder... I think whether there's enough difference to warrant owning both would depend on how much you like to wear those colours.

I think the highlight of this collection for me are the eyeshadows though...they are so bright and happy! Exactly how a spring collection should be.
Oh and Katred, I have Saffron (LE from MAC) too but from Karen's swatches, Persia looks different, no? Or am I just justifying its purchase? haha
I'm so the wrong person to ask... I think this sort of colour would be amazing on your skin tone, so it would be nice to have more than one option. Besides, you could do a thematic look incorporating Persia and Chanel "Tehran" Rouge Coco...

Luster has a lot of shimmer, but it's definitely a blush. It has a lot of colour to it as well.
One thing that struck me is that I usually find Karen's swatches to be softer and more reminiscent of what colours look like blended (as opposed to Christine at Temptalia, whose swatches show more what products look like built up to their full colour potential... it's nice to have both!). If that's the case here, the pigmentation on most of these products must be out of this world. Even the Bouthan duo looks pretty intense in her swatches.
I love the lipstick, but I couldn't help but think it's a shade I've seen a lot lately: Chanel has a similar colour in their Spring launch (Envoutante), Guerlain has one in their Spring launch (Flirt) and had one in their holiday collection (Lou-Ling). Makes me a little scared, because those shades are ones that I tend to find particularly flattering on me, so I'm always tempted to grab them when I see them... Could get costly this season.
