FNO Chanel Exclusives

Thread Starter

Hello everyone! As FNO is approaching (September 6th?), I was wondering if someone has information about this year FNO exclusives from Chanel? Would it be a Le Vernis trio again similar to last years Les Jeans and Les  Khakis. Let's share! For my fellow Canadians, I heard that this year Toronto will also get FNO exclusives))

I am thinking to call Chanel boutique on  Bloor about FNO colours - they would know. At least they have always provided me with the dates for previous exclusive collections - this year Blue Illusion and Paris Bombay. I hope they will get the FNO colours as well

Love the Plum and Pink sets. Do you think these will be available online?

Fashion's Night Out website has published the list of retailers in the US and Canada, here's what it says about event for Chanel in NYC:

`` Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup Peter Philips celebrates fashion in colors with a new Fashion’s Night Out collection of matching lip and nail duos. Three harmonies to be worn like a twin-set, stylish and feminine. LA PROVOCANTE & PROVOCATION: unique plum L’INFIDÈLE & INFIDÈLE: intense pink LA DÉLICATE & DÉLICATESSE: refined beige The TWIN-SETS DE CHANEL collection presented at Fashion’s Night Out will be sold at CHANEL boutiques as of September 6, 2012.''

Do you think it means the duos will be available in ALL Chanel boutiques, not only NYC?

I can't wait for the polishes. I want them all.

I am going to nyc for fashion night out, and I wil pick these up. So sad Chanel is not doing any more custom made items. They stopped with the ballet flats in 2010. I wish they did the bags again. :(

I don't think I can get all three sets, so the plum set is calling my name the most. If I get it, it'll be my first Rouge Allure Velvet.

I want the pinks! :)

The darker set is the most interesting to me too.  Sadly I doubt that I could ever pull that ls off with my skintone.  I will need to choose from the other 2.

I hear you on that one. :( It says they'll be sold separately though, so maybe we can at least get the dark np.

i did one FNO and it was SO crowded

i really hope they  release it on line like steel and strong

I have some great news about the Chanel FNO Twin Sets! It turns out the they will only be available at two Nordstrom locations in the US and only a handful of Chanel boutiques in New York. I'm not sure if they're going to be available on Chanel's website or at other stores. But you can pre-order the sets from Nordstrom Seattle and Ala Moana in Honolulu. I found the info from ilse of TheUltimateMakeup.com.

I got caught up in the excitement and pre-ordered more than I planned to get. I did get the plum set, but I also got the pink lipstick and the beige lipstick. I wanted to order the pink and beige polishes too, but I'm already way over my budget.

Errr I prefer to see it for myself to see the color and texture...however that plum lippie is everything...

Errr now I want the beige too, it sounds like it'll be my perfect nude.

Still ended up with 3 lipsticks smh. Specktra is such a bad influence hee hee.

Haven, the more I think about this the more I think anyone can really pull it off. The RAVs are so easy to use lightly as a stain. I'll probably still skip because the RAVs are very drying on my lips. :(

I hope that you are right!  I have been lemming the plum set ever since I saw the pics online.  I find the RAV's rather dry as well, but I may just go for it.

I did a pre order for all three polishes. Trying to make up my mind on the lipsticks.

I'm still thinking about the two polishes I didn't get even though I shouldn't. They're just so pretty.

I agree with Winthrop44 about the color selection. I doubt Chanel will ever go too far out the box...so I'm pretty sure the plum will be wearable for all skin tones whether its applied fully opaque or lightly as a stain. The other 2 colors look like deeper versions of the 2 lipsticks that where in the Nordstrom anniversary collection.

I am a tab bit concerned about the texture as I don't normally go for matte lippies but I know Chanel changed the formula of the mattes last year to be more moisturizing. So I don't think they will be too bad on the drying end and I'm still thinking should I wait to see reviews are just go ahead and order sight unseen. I know these type of collections sell out quickly so I probably should order before the release date.

I wonder will anyone get their orders before Sept. 6

I was told that it wouldn't ship until Sept. 7 when I placed my preorder.

Same here she said mine won't ship until the 6th or 7th. Luckily it's in the same city as me so I should receive it on Saturday the 8th.

Wow, that's fast. I'm thinking about adding express shipping to my order, as well as the pink and beige polishes. I ordered 3 new RAs from Nordstrom last Friday and they should be delivered tomorrow. I don't think I want to wait a week to get my FNO order. I also didn't realize that the polishes are actually the main attraction of Chanel Fashion's Night Out. That's making me want them even more.

Just ordered the tan and pink lipsticks from Nordstrom. I'm sure they will be available at chanel.com too but, at least with Nordstrom, if I don't like the colors I can return them to a local store.

I hope Chanel doesn't come out with anything new for a while....between these lipsticks and the Blue Illusion colors it's going to send me to the poorhouse!
