FNO Chanel Exclusives - Page 4

So annoyed.     My UPS guy left my package with the neighbor who is never home yesterday.  Even worse, I was actually home then.  I keep telling him he has to ring the door bell.  I will never hear that super light knock if I'm in another room.  Even worse than that.  I stayed in the front room with no tv until I think about 6 pm and then gave up that he was coming today.  The delivery status says he came at 5:48 but I'm pretty sure I was there until 6 but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.  Now today he comes and again if I wasn't walking past the door at the time, I would never have heard that light knock.  So I told him again to ring the bell and not to leave my packages with that particular neighbor.   I told him, I would be home for my delivery by 3 pm tomorrow so we shall see if I get my Chanel pre-order which is due tomorrow.  My other big Chanel box is with the neighbor.  Why didn't Chanel just send everything together?  They obviously had the product in stock if they could send the pre-order 2 days after the regular order.

My beige lippie has been shipped and CC charged, can't wait to get it.

Just got my L Infedel ls & polish. GORGEOUS!!!! both of them. The lipstick is a rose berry & feels sooo smooth & soft on my lips. Divine texture.

Yep, I love the pink lipstick too....and Provocation np, which is prettier in person than in swatches I've seen. I'm giving the pink np to a friend as part of her birthday gift & am pretty sure she will love it.

Congrats elegant-one!! I swatched all three sets yesterday evening but I only came away with the Provocation set. The other 2 didnt work on me but I guessed that would be the case, better for my pocket though lol!!

Oh my...well sorry to say, we all know that Chanel does have terrible customer service Trust me, it does no good to complain either. So sorry that you guys have had such terrible experiences!

I think this one with sending only samples to people tops them all. How ridiculous!  Even from their point of view...paying for shipping basically to get someone at the other end mad?

I just called the Seattle Nordies because my card hadn't charged and I hadn't gotten a shipping notice.  I was told they haven't received their pre-orders!  Sigh another week I think before I can hope to see them in person

My package was delivered moments ago. Gasp! I'm thrilled with everything.

La Délicate and Délicatesse aren't just beige or straight brown, which is a good thing for me. They have pink/rose/kind of mauve undertones to them. Like elegant said, L'Infidèle and Infidèle are pink berry plum. La Provocante and Provocation are deep plum colors with red tones. I think the underlying theme for this collection may be variations of purple because purple is present in each shade.

These are my first Rouge Allure Velvets. I like the formula and will get more. They all applied smoothly except for La Provocante. The dark purple needs some tinkering for even application. I applied each color "raw" without P+P Lip to see how they applied naturally. For a matte formula, they don't feel dry on my lips. I also like how each shade is buildable to achieve a lighter or stronger color.

The lipstick swatch pictures aren't true to life. There's a blue overcast because of the lighting, so you can't see the pink and red tones. I'll try to take a better picture when there's more sunlight. The nail polish picture is more accurate.

I really like all three lipsticks. But I'm surprised that L'Infidèle may be my favorite out of the three, followed by La Délicate, then La Provocante. I was certain the purple lipstick would be my favorite.

My order shipped from Chanel.com, and thankfully the order is supposed to be complete (all 3 sets).  UPS won't get it here until late next week. Probably because of the np.  Never understood why nail polish causes a shipment to move so slow.  Hopefully the ls wont be melted by then.

I am sorry to hear that people are having such bad experiences with Chanel's site.  I do agree, however, that their CS is rather crappy.  Now I pretty much stick to ordering exclusives like this from them.  I get the rest of my Chanel fix from places like Nordstroms with decent CS.

Yay I'm glad my fiance talked me out of Provocation lippie because it is way too dark. Almost like a black cherry verses a plummy plum and I was wanting a plummy plum like in the promotion pic. The swatches I've seen of Delicate lippie, I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it and glad I decided to get it. I have no regrets of not getting the pink one because it looks just like how I thought it would and its not for me.

Cartoon Chic - The colors look lovely on you & I like the np on you too especially delicatesse.

The lipstick wore well! It lasted long & I noticed that it didn't come off on my coffee cup.

The thing with the nail polish is that it has to travel by ground. They don't send them via air because it's supposedly a hazardous (potentially explosive) substance.

Oh man I will be waiting on your well lit delicate swatch... I passed on that set cus of the beige-ness but if it has a strong mauve undertone I will be wanting it.  Curses the Chanel NP addiction.  I love being matchy matchy so the nail/lip combos always get me

From the swatches it looks like I may only be able to pull off La Délicate, the other two look too dark and with my skintone I don't think I would be able to pull it off.:(  I will have to wait for more swatches.

Thanks! I'm surprised how much I like Délicatesse. I don't have any nail polish color like it. It's very pretty and sophisticated.

Definitely can see all the blue/pink/red tones in them! I might get something but MAC is still doing just enough to stay away lol.

My Delicate lippie will be here Monday.

Here are better swatches. I forgot to mention that the polish is only one coat since I just wanted to see the colors. I didn't use a base or top coat.

I'm not sure if I will ever get La Provocante .... 

I ordered it when it went back online after being taken off the website. 

My debit card still shows that the money is being held for it.. Whether that means Chanel will follow through and I will get it in 2 weeks that it said... Remains to be seen.
