I think it will sit beside Cyber and Underworld for me not getting love.  But it is definitely more blue/grey toned than either if the swatches are any indication...

 

It feels like a lustre.

Wow, Richelle! It look amazing on you. I hope it looks like that on me. It appears more blue based on your lips than red. Red based purples don't always work for me for some reason. I'm a fan of bleu/grey based purples.

I'm actually kind of glad this seems sheerer. I was worried it would be too vampy for me! I'll be getting my package today but I'm not sure when I'll get around to swatching and experimenting. I've got a busy weekend ahead of me and I'm going out of town.

How come you had to layer it? Did it come out too sheer on your lips?

Smoked Purple, Plum Bright, YR, Potent Fig. Don't have cyber or any other dark purple lipstick/liner

 

 

Wow. It does appear sheer on your lips. I'm shocked. On T's swatch it looks so dark & vampy. I am very curious to see what this lipstick will look like on me. I'm hoping it's like your before photo and not too vampy like with T. Thank you, Richelle!!!!

I don't look to thrilled in the second pic lol. I think they lied with the formula honestly! 

 It's suppose to be amplified, right? You said it feels more like a lustre? I wonder if you got one with a different finish then? Is that possible?

 

It does say amplified on the package. YR has all the characteristics of a lustre-shiny, non drying, sheer but buildable. 

I'm guessing it's really built up here lol

I don't mind buildable color. Especially since I like to sometimes wear it light and sometimes more vampy. I will have to let you know once I receive mine how it looks on me.

Yeah I won't mind buildable either. I don't want it to turn out unwearable, or only works as a really bold statement lip. I'd like to get a bit more mileage out of it hopefully

Same here - no notification, but a tracking # on the website. I also ordered a couple brushes. After all, one lonely lipstick in a big black boxis so sad

ok, so potent fig is the real purple.  i skipped it because it was too blue purple for me.  i think thats the color people probably want.  i wonder if they have any at the CCO for swapping.

Is everybody happy with their YR? I adore mine.

I haven't received mine yet. Do you find yours sheer, but buildable Mac-Guy or is it like T's: a very rich plum shade?

YR looks good on you Richelle.

YR doesn't feel like a lustre to me, but it doesn't feel like an Amplified either. I usually don't like the feel of Amplified, but YR isn't slippery like a lustre. Maybe it's a hybrid of both.

I forgot I have an UD lipstick in Confession that is similar and even better, IMO. I don't regret buying YR, though. I'll definitely get some use out of it and it's pretty. It's just not the kick ass color I was hoping for. Oh, well.
