Mine turned out fine. There is some chipping on the frames now after two years, but that's the only issue I've noticed. I just ordered a new pair from coastal.com and I got the first pair free (I paid $30 total for shipping and the lens thinning) so I'll let you know how that goes when it gets here.

Last night I had my makeup done at my local store, and the mua did a beautiful take on the main veronica look (adapted to my eye shape). She used frozen violet as the base, which I'm not keen on buying (too many open paint pots!), and focused the purple on the outside corner and crease. I asked her not to do the red lip becasue I somehow usually end up with red lips at these makeup sessions, so she paired it up with Oh, oh, oh. Very pretty...but going by other members' comments how it is similar to glamour daze I decided to skip it. I was so happy with the results - hope I can duplicate it at home!

My glamour daze lipstick is still in the box. I don't think I ever opened it, orr looked at it after getting it out of the black MAC shipping box. I forgot I even had it before your post. Need to cut down on impulse buys and stick to sure-hit colors in a collection. I've started doing that since I skipped both AG quads for the reason that I have dupes of almost all of the colors in my MAC palette.

Yeah, I wore only contacts for 10 years or so, but my allergies have gotten worse and any time I wear contacts my eyes water like crazy. I've been doing mainly glasses since then since it's cheaper and I don't have to worry about my makeup going everywhere.

 That might have been me, but it was for the Caramel Sundae quad. Bare minerals "The Next Big Thing" not for the Spoiled Rich

the Chanel Harmonie Du Soir quad is by far my most favorite quad ever and that pink is the best pink i own!!  I do really like the caramel sundae quad too now at least i have something to switch off with until summer. i'm so glad i got it...

I am under 30 inches of snow and all i thought about was... how many people are going to be so mad that the malls and MAC stores are closed due to weather. the big event was for last night and today so that means half the people didn't go yet.. oh my. i'd be so upset.

So you liked Cream Soda on you?  Maybe I should try it.

I got Mall Madness yesterday.  It puts me in the mind of Narcissus.  No, I know it's not the same.  Mall Madness is a bit lighter but it's similar in feel.

i remember a few saying they were getting the oz ones instead due to better value :)

The brush set is so cute. I already have the full size 226 and 266. I'm happy that I don't have most of the brushes. I was so distracted by the hearts when I ordered that I wasn't even paying attention to see what brushes come in the set.

So, do you think the quality is good? I've see a couple complaints about hearts and bristles falling off.

I think I'm going to just find a blackened blueish purple like Ron Ron Run...  then I'll officially have this quad without spending $44.  Or just get the kat von d beethoven palette.

FWIW, I have never had a problem with Zenni or Coastal. Prescriptions have been correct and the frames have held up longer than more expensive ones *coughpradacoughcough* 

To get this back on Archie's though, I think I'm going to try to hunt down a brush set. My MAC told me they were sure they'd sell out the day of the release, but I'm not sure if they have. I can deal with a few splayed hairs. 

Ugh, so here I am stalking the website for a possible restock to grab my precious Ronnie Red and it's such a hassle that I went ahead and phoned in an order to a MAC store in far-flung state that still has a bunch of them in their inventory. I got free shipping too. I can relax I'm happy!

They canceled the event that was scheduled for today here. My sister was not happy! lol (They did call on Thursday night to cancel.)

I actually did the same thing. I just purchased dreammaker (since it is a repromote) online for $14 instead of spending $30 or $44 on the quads since I have dupes of all the other colors for the CS quad. But I think BE quad is on my wishlist because the colors are so pretty and the reviews I read and watched about them are very good.

What all have you picked up from this collection? Last year, before I knew Specktra I went a lot off T's reviews solely and become apathetic towards MAC collections. This one is SO awesome, I love the colors!

the pink color is incredibly frosted. Like I have yet to see it in my eyes as pink.

Yes, I just discoverd Spektra this past October!! And SO happy I did even though I'm terribly late.

P.S. I wore BS alone but today I wore it paired up with Viva Glam VI and it calmed it down quite a bit for a nice daytime look. I want to get the most out of it before winter is over with and I can no longer wear such a rich dark color

I wound up skipping the pastel green pigment - it's getting closer to what I am looking for but still not quite green enough when applied. I want the brilliant green of a peacock feather when it catches the light.

I hope everyone is happy with their new toys! I know I wound up buying more than expected, due to the next level pearlmattes and the dense color of the eye shadow quad!
