my items came today, so excited!i'm on vacation next week so I'll have lots pf playtime. Also will be stopping a couple of stores in the city to see if I can find BB and DLG

So I was looking on IG for pics of WOC with the pearlmattes. I see none w Veronica's blush (which I was leaning towards) but some withFlatter Me that doesn't really show up. What do you ladies recommend? I am NW45

Exfoliate your lips with an old toothbrush, AFTER you're done brushing your teeth. Or use a washcloth at the end of your shower. Do this daily. Apply a lip conditioner and let it sit for atleast 5 minutes before applying BB. Blot the lip conditioner off, line your lips (if desired), then apply BB.

The 109 works great for me.I do mostly pick up a blush (or BP,MB) before working it in because I like the mix of CmD + blush (BP,MB).

Thanks, I am going to try this once I get my hands on CMD! All my other pigments aren't the right color for cheeks so I never thought of this.

You are welcome!

 

I did not mention it because it is d/c, but the 162 is a nice brush to work the pigment into your skin too.

If you happen to have this brush you might try it as well.

So the collection went on sale in the UK today, I got everything I wanted bar Cosmic Cute :( grrrr, hoping it will be up for sale soon, just abit annoyed I will have to pay for postage. Anyhow bought

Anyhow, just placed an order for mostly Betty's items (Betty Bright & Kiss&Don't Tell, Lucky in Love, Cream Soda, the PM, and the palette) and DLG from Veronica's side. heart.gif

 

I'm going to get the CC polish and check out the red lip stuff & Veronica's face products later.

I stopped by MAC yesterday and surprisingly most of the B&V face stuff was still in stock with testers on display so I swatched Prom Princess. WHY DID I DO THAT?!?! I'm supposed to be done with this collection and now it's haunting (taunting?) me!

I wasn't going to order from MAC UK, but I received my new prepaid credit card a few days ago and when you wire money it is immediately there. So when I saw AG coming online I made a fast judgement call.

 

I remember saying I would be satisfied with FM pm buuuut after all the swatches I got:

 

Flatter Me pearlmatte

Veronica's Blush pearlmatte

Prom Princess blush

Spoiled Rich quad 

Betty Bright lipstick

Daddy's little Girl lipstick

 

aaaaand I kinda regretted not ordering Ronnie Red (but I've got a gazillion reds, including MAC red, hangs head in shame...) and perhaps Boyfriend Stealer. I am also eyeing some glosses (Kiss and Don't tell, Mall Madness, Strawberry Malt), but I am usually not a gloss person. I only reach for Star Quality on a "regular basis". Sigh... I am proud of myself for skipping Cream Soda, because I already have Legendary, IF, Melba etcetera... Plus... I really want Taj Mahal blush and some other Nars blushes...

I managed to buy cream soda blush today as I planned, and I also have made an impulse buy to get free shipping lol it ended up being a gloss, I had less than 5 minutes before my break finished so I had to act fast lol

funny you say that because I sooo wanted DLG too but I wore my Girl About Town today and to me they are pretty similar, not to mention I have Seductive Intent and Night Blooming too. I would love to get my hands on a brush set though.


I have too many reds to get a bu lol, but I do love RR and to think I was going to skip it because I already had AP. I just tried seductive intent last night because I finally got my order from nordstrom. SI is so pretty that I gave up SW since I didn't like it so much.

To exfoliate your lips, mix ordinary granulated sugar with just enough of a nice oil - olive is good for skin, but some people don't like the taste - coconut - jojoba - to moisten the sugar - it shouldn't be liquid. Then rub your lips with it well, but not harshly. Then wipe it off. That should help.

 

Also, using a lip primer, such as MAC Prep + Prime Lip, helps.

Um, I cannot find the DLG I bought and I am losing it (I am having a crisis about possible memory lapse); seems like it is sold out everywhere, right?

This happens to me about once a week LOL.  Its called too much makeup, can't keep track.  But, you'll probably find it in a few weeks in your purse, your desk, on the floor in your closet, somewhere

You can never trust that.  They say no, but if they get enough stock returns from stores that don't sell all the product, they will restock, it happens.  It could go either way.

It is! On me it looks like more like a fuschia,redish pink. I absolutely ADORE this lipstick! And it's matte. My favorite finish:)

Thanks cocofiere! I love it to pieces! It's such a pretty apricot color on my cheeks. And mixed together with my natural redness it looks like a

I have looked everywhere in a 50 mile radius for flatter me and DLG. If anyone ends up with an extra, I'd love to take it off your hands. smiles.gif

I did get the spoiled rich quad yesterday and OMG. I love these colors! They are so pigmented. I am surprised by all the hate in the blogsphere for this quad.

I need help, what can I do with cream soda? Its too light. Is it possible to use it as a all over powder, that's how light it is it looks like a peachy face powder.
