The first post as you saw has a list of every product in the collection. As far as I know, every counter and store should have all of those items. I don't know why they wouldn't. (Quantities of said items are a different story, however.)

Do you mean how many items this collection will include all together? If so, it's way more than 10 items. The first post by Mac-Guy is the full color story of the ENTIRE collection. It's not so confusing if you look at the color story. It's split up by the characters: Betty and Veronica (and then there's the accessories section as well). Think of it as a "mini" collection for each of the girls because the colors are different based on their character.. if that makes sense. For example each girl has 3 lipsticks each, for a total of 6 lipsticks in the entire collection. Get what I'm saying? :)

I just went to an Inglot store and they have tons of great purples in different finishes in shadows and pigments. Google their #202 body pigment. That's my new HG purple right up there with MUFE #92, MAC Grape, Violet, and Push the Edge pigments.

And if you want to talk navies for Ron Ron Run, there's MUFE #60, #81 Illamasqua Never, NARS China Blue and whatever Inglot is serving up (sorry I'm not specific, I'm just getting familiar to their color system)

lol As much as I love MAC, I know little about their collection parties. 

Basically its a pre launch of the collection. You call the store to schedule an entry time. View the collection, pick what you want and they will pull it. (usually they give you a checklist so you can write down what you want) sip on a drink, eat a few appetizers, pay for your haul.
Usual they are about 1-2 weeks before a collection hits the counters. This one is 2 days, the shortest I've heard.

So is it pretty much for sure the 7th? By noon on the day of MM launch everything I really wanted was gone. I really don't want that to happen again.

I still need to cut down my list ;( I want so much but I kno I can't afford it all but I don't know wht to take off my list until i see swatches .
my +1 had an emergency come up n won't be able to go to the launch party with me. I really don't want to go alone but I also want my stuff ASAP so I will prob end up going anyways. not as much fun without my cousin. ;(

I went to a MAC S/S VIP presentation today and I saw Archie's.

All of the testers were in a glass box and they didn't allow people to test them!!! Of course, I wasn't happy at all!!!

Anyway, I just took some photos.

 

Girl Next Door looked like less intense version of Saint Germain cuz it's luster finish and I think it had tiny shimmer (almost iridescent sheen) when I took a closer look, but I wasn't sure cuz I couldn't test it!

Betty Bright looked similar to somewhat between Nicki l/s and Reel sexy l/s (It's peachy-coral with a hint of white, I think) in the tube and it's totally diffrent from Force of Love or Watch me shimmer.

Daddy's little girl reminded me of Outrageously Fun, but I think DLG is more intense cuz it's satin finish.

 

Oh and Veronica's blush had shimmer. I think it's silvery shimmer.

and Betty's blush was little darker and oranger than I expected.

 

I only had a chance to test Betty's pearlmatte cuz it's the only sample they allowed people to test. (It was on the presentation stage, not in the glass box.)

It had shimmer, but it's not glitter. Find shimmer with golden undertone.

The texture was really smooth and silky. It was way better than Vera's pearlmatte!!!

It was sheerer than I expected and it's like satiny-sheer finish. It didn't look chalky on my hand at least.

And it reminded me of lighter, sheerer and peachy-coral version of Immortal Flower blush!

Hmm..I just thought it's similar to NARS Deep Throat blush, but less pink and sheerer.

I'm a sucker for the Pearlmattes. Not that I wear the Vera ones weekly, or even monthly. They are just foolproof. Not to mention too gorgeous to look at to pass up. I am hoping I can restrain myself and only buy Flatter Me PM and In For a Treat from Baking Beauties, but who am I kidding. Looking at these pics and thinking of Pink Buttercream will need a decent backbone to skip, which I obviously will not have. I hope I get it together by then because the pink ones will probably be too cool for my complexion and thus will not be used a lot.

Haven't seen this posted yet, if it was my baddd. Here you can pretty well see the Pearlmattes/Pigments/Betty quad/Betty's blush, which I expected to be a little brighter than how it looks here and in other pictures I've seen of it.
