helps with crowd control.  For the Archie's Girls event my appointment is at 7PM.  I will have preordered my goods, but they give you a sheet with a list of the collection items and you select what you want, as you peruse the products.  They generally have photo ops and giveaways, and/or other activities related in some way to the theme of the collection.  I'll make it a fun outing with a friend whom I've invited along...we'll probably grab dinner out, have lots of girl talk and buy some fun makeup.  All-in-all, the MAC events that I've attended are well planned & well executed.  Try it, if only once.  
so I got the invitation and made an appointment for feb 5th for a guest and I. I was just noticing the invitation says to RSVP by a certain date, do I really need to do that? I need to call to RSVP? Signing up in the store isn't enough?

I'd call. If you don't rsvp they'll cancel your spot and give it to someone else.

Karen does great lip product swatches. I can tell I wouldn't like Summer Sweetheart and Stay Sweet, so I'd skip those for sure. I've never really liked the way she does eyeshadow swatches though. I definitely need Christine's swatches for those.

I gotta say, I'm pretty amused that this thing pretends to be a police officer...aren't they required to have an education higher than first grade?  I can barely understand what it even typed. -.-  No wonder it has to steal...

Yes! Both Black Poodle and Magic Spells do look like Later and Moonlight Night pigments. I'm glad that I'm skipping the pigments in this collection.

She really did an amazing job with this, and so cute too!!!  Thank goodness for swatches!!!  I now most definitely have to add Kiss & Don't Tell l/g to my haul, but I might be willing to give up Boyfriend Stealer, so at least it would be an even trade!  Cream Soda doesn't look too orange here, so I think I'll get it after all.  And Betty Bright is, as it has been from day one, a must-have for me.  Looks like despite my dark hair, I'm a Betty at heart!

HAHA I totally felt the same way. Initially, I thought she was just going to have some product photos of a handful of samples she got, but nope! She's absolutely my favorite blogger. She really loves to put together a story when she makes a post, and it shows. I feel like she has so much fun doing what she does!

I was at a Mac counter today and they said the accessories will be Available at the stores as well as online
