I didn't purchase any of the cremesheen glasses when the Daphne Guinness collection came out. After a while i also got huge skipper's remorse for Narcissus. But when i visited the pro store back in june, they still were there!  They still had all the other cremesheen glasses as well (Japanese Spring, Borealis, and Richly Revered).

 

oh goodness, these swatches are lovely!! thanks for sharing! i'm #TeamPurple all day, ERRYDAY, so I'll probably have to get this set for sure 

I already pre-ordered Innocence, Outrageously Fun and Glamourdaze from my local MAC along with Feminine Edge and I'm the One.

 

When the collection launches online, I can get BUs of the lipsticks, and I'll probably snag Impossibly Sweet and Deliciously Demure lipglasses. I'm up in the air on everything else at this point. I like the eyeshadow sets, but I might pick that up from my local MAC store.

 

I realized the Vanity Bag is a MAC store exclusive, and a part of me still really wants it, but the other part of me wants to just skip it. I think with the other collections coming out, I want to keep this haul a little light, so I can just get stuff I know 100% that I will love and use often.

I went back and purchased Borealis shortly before it disappeared from the website. I still haven't used it yet. I'm not sure how to use it.

^You can use Borealis for layering with any lipglass/dazzleglass/dazzleglass creme/cremesheen glass of your choice.

Meh, I find it so unnecessary. We'll buy up all the products without the company spending all that money on giant posters & stuff. They should just focus more on product & pleasing customers instead of just being showy

I received an invitation to that MAC event yesterday! I was wondering why I received it so late (felt like I was on the C list for a wedding, haha), until I realized that it was just a MACover event and not the whole bells and whistles preview event. They definitely went all out this time, most of their events aren't as nice. I passed by it and from what I could see they were using/selling the GD products. I can only imagine that they'll sell out on items just from pre-selling at this event! People getting their makeovers done will order stuff and people passing by will end up going to MAC to look at everything. I agree that it seems pretty unnecessary. Stuff sells out SO FAST without drawing extra attention to the store. I saw the people at the event and just thought of them as competition for the goodies, haha. 

 

To be safe, I (finally) pre-ordered stuff from my favorite MAC counter instead.

I will probably go back and add a couple of the kohl pencils and more EDES (Stylishly Merry was very close to being added today, and I'm trying to decide between A Natural Flirt and Ready to Party. I may end up with both since I   EDES!). I want to add more to my list, but there are so many lovely (PURPLE) collections coming out soon....decisions, decisions!

 

My SA was trying to convince me to try on the blushes, but I remained strong and declined her offer! I knew that at least one of them would come home with me if I did, but I'm running out of space! We'll see if I end up buying some later on. 

I might get the blue brush set. I really like the bag. Ha. Ya know. Cause that's a great reason to buy something.

I ordered the bronzer kit. Looks like there is a little plastic flap to cover the lip products. I think it'll be cute and I really wanted the packaging. I cancelled my green shadow kit so I figure this will make up for it.

 

Thanks for the input, all of which I've taken into consideration.         I've added Flight of Fancy to my MAC store pre-order list because it doesn't sound like anything else in my stash.  I have to call on Wednesday (10/24) morning to finalize the order and pay for it.  I'll get my goods on Thursday, 10/25.  The Nordstrom portion of my order will be finalized on the 25th, but unlike the MAC store order, I probably won't get the Nordie's order until Monday or Tuesday.

I've been trying to stay away from the sets and just get the EDES but I think I need the Luxurious Pink bag with Lickable in it. See this is why I wanted to order last week cause my list gets longer as time passes. Ugh.

Right?  And the more you read & see, the greater the excitement...you can see the goods in your sleep, and you add to that list and then the adrenaline kicks in and you place that massive order and poof...your wallet is empty!  I know from whence I speak!

I would love to hear any suggestions I was just wondering this myself earlier today! I need to call my girl at Nords and have her add Glamourdaze and Deliciously Demure to my order and I think Im good...I think I can live without Divine Blue...I have hella blue eyshadows already. Well.....I will probably try it when i pick up my order lol. FUDGE, I believe that THIS is my biggest haul from one collection ever...but its technically three right? lol

I need to add Glamourdaze as well! After reading all the threads and looking up swatches, it's a must have for me now lol. I saw swatches of Divine Blue and although it does look pretty, i know it wont look any good on me at all so it's a pass. I prefer wearing deeper blue and navy blue shades. You mentioned this is your biggest haul from one collection ever....have you seen or heard of the upcoming Mac collections as well? Hope you're ready cuz i know i'm not! lol
