Unfortunately I am in Australia .. where they charge $36 for one lipstick ... the holiday eyeshadow palettes alone will be like over $110 here.. so I use a forwarding service and buy through US MAC...
Thanks BunnyHeffner! I have my fingers crossed too ... really, really want to get my hands on all the lipsticks and blushes!
Oh you are in the same situation as mine.. they sell MAC expensive here in Bahrain.. Permanent lipstick are around $25 (stil lcheaper than Australia though!) & ofcourse it increases more when the packaging is special & limited edition.. Marilyn were launched 2 days ago only & the eyshadow costs $34, Nail Polish $23.. besides hat they are always late for 2 weeks or sometimes more than a month & always limited in stock
I usually buy my MAC stuff from Nordie because they accept both my international credit card & my forwarding address
I tried ordering from MAC website before but they refused saying my card is international!
I tired this time with putting my forwarding address for both billing & shipping as Milegolas adviced me.. hope it will work because I want that set so bad </3!

I'm in Oz too - which forwarder do you use? I'm going to buy from the US too - the collection doesn't come out here til 5th and 19th Nov - and everything is twice the US price (I checked the prices with my local counter). I want to get a few kits, so even with forwarding costs I will still save about $60 - even more if I decide to buy more, non MAC makeup. Take that stupid ripoff Australian retailers!

If you use Paypal you can get around this issue .. I tried using my C/C with the US MAC site and had no luck but Paypal worked for me as long as you put your US forwarding address into your Paypal addresses and use that one.
I know what you mean about the exuberant prices MAC charge in countries outside the U.S .. if I buy from the US I can get twice the amount of products for my money and that's including postage than I can get if I buy here in Australia... it's crazy!

My wonderful brother just let me use his credit card to buy 3 lipsticks ..only. I was just so worried they'd sell out he felt bad for me. So I got Beauty, Outrageously Fun and Innocence... I desperately want Dramatic Encounter but oh well, hopefully it won't sell out till Thursday (risking it!!)... Would love to get the Fluidlines and blushes but i'll just have to wait.
Good choice. I expect Beauty to sell out first. It's such a pretty color, especially on pale beauties. I'm glad you were able to place an order :-)
Oh yes, Paypal works even when your confirmed bank account is an overseas one. A colleague of mine will be visiting the States for several weeks and she will be staying at a friend's place. She was kind enough to let me have my goodies sent to her friend's address so that she can bring them to me on her return. I wouldn't normally ask something like this, but I won't have internet connection when Glamour Daze is released here in NL and I didn't want to risk missing the stuff I want.
To be fair, I placed the order about 12 hours ago and it still appears as Pending. So I don't know for certain if it will indeed be OK. Fingers crossed!
On another note, I'm kicking myself for not having put a BU of Moth Brown in my shopping bag. Bad BuickMackane! Bad BuickMackane!

As nothing appears to be sold out yet, I wouldn't worry too much (yet).

Oh, hang on. So you want to have your items shipped outside the US? I was under the impression that MAC US does not ship internationally. Perhaps you can call CS and see if they'd be able to help?
post-caffeine edit - Oops, sorry. Now I get it. You have a forwarding address in the US. If this address is already on your list of addresses on Paypal, perhaps you could try checking out directly with Paypal?

Yes, it's there but there's a weird thing I can't understand
if I will buy from eBay; my USA address is there I can choose it, now when I choose paypal to pay my MAC order.. I can't select that US address!!
so I went & tried to add a new address, but I couldnt change the country lol! the street address & city will be my forwarding address, but country will remain Bahrain! so MAC wont accept it.. uugghhh wil ltry to find a new way.. maybe I can find someone to order for me with a US card & I will pay back..
MY order is still Pending.. but I don't ahve high hopes.. I must look for Plan B!

Is your bank account that is linked to Paypal in the US? If not, then that is probably the issue.

Without seeing you, I can only guess. Here are my
I think Beauty looks the best on NW10-15 (in fact, if you are in that range, you probably want to grab several BU's before it sells out - it might well become your HG lippie). If you are between NW20-25, however, you want to wear it as a sheer layer rather than a full-on lip color. Mind you, it is a Glaze formula and it is relatively easy to work with. As Beauty features a stunning sheen (the reason why I love the the glaze formula) that is cool-toned, it is not in-your-face as a lot of warm-toned white-based lippies tend to look just wrong on NW complexions. As you are NW25, I would say use a lot of highlighter on your face (Forever Marilyn) and keep your eyes relatively simple, e.g with a winged eye and a nude e/s. Especially as you like mauve, I think Beauty has the potential to look great on you, but if you are in doubt, test it in store.

Great info. I'm NW20-25 and picked up Beauty this past weekend and have been wearing it like you said. By itself it looked like I had eaten marshmallows for a week.

I'd have thought Superb or Whisper of Gilt would be the first to go. Or the crazy sparkly F/Ls. Or like you say, a lipstick like Outrageously Fun.
