Aww, you don't like it? I've worn it the past three days and I LOVE it. I'm actually very surprised I love it so much. I pre-ordered it and then ended up ordering it for Nordstrom in-store pickup. I had every intention of cancelling the pre-order, but I wouldn't mind the BU. Now, I need to figure out if OF is BU worthy as well.

OMG! I just realized I forgot to add to my cart the pink blush! :/ Sometimes I fell I got a two digit IQ.... darns!

I still keep considering buying one of the eyeshadow sets.  I'm between Neutral and Smokey.  Allura's swatches seem to show Smokey as the more pigmented palette. I hope Temptalia will review the holiday eye kits but I don't recall her mentioning them 001_unsure.gif

I'm hoping she does too. I pre-order the bronzer set too and I think I'm gonna cancel it. I'm not sold on it after seeing swatches.

How does ebates work?

Just came across this review for the Neutral eye palette: http://www.musingsofamuse.com/2012/10/mac-fabulousness-neutral-eyes-palette-review-swatches.html.

Perhaps you could visit a counter and swatch it in person before you return it? I sometimes find that bloggers use too much product when they are swatching fluidlines so that the colour shows well. But then they end up with a clumpy uneven mess for exactly the same reason.
this is exactly why I want to try to apply it on my eyes myself as a liner.

There are certain websites that work with ebates. You log onto ebates, click on the website link (for example nordstrom.com or macys.com) and ebates will direct you to the website. If you make a purchase using that link, you get a certain percentage cash back. Unfortunately, MAC doesn't work directly with ebates (so your Pro discount would be better than getting the cashback), but other retailers do (I believe there are over 1000 stores connected to ebates). You get cashback quarterly either by check or via Paypal. If you shop online a lot, it might be worth checking out. Department stores, Ulta, Sephora, Drugstore.com and some clothing stores are examples. Send me a PM if you'd like more info or a referral link (a referral isn't necessary, that was just a shameless plug)!

I love that I can use it with Bobbi Brown!

I can send you a link to refer you. You basically sign up, click a link on their website from the store you want to shop at, then you get the percentage listed for that store from your purchase. If you use the referral link that I send, we'll both get a $5 bonus I think. You also don't need a referral to sign up. Let me know if you're interested.

If I have YR and don't mind the application, is DE necessary? I am trying to anti-enable myself but at the same time, prevent skipper's remorse. My list always changes, even thought I thought I was done hauling this collection! I'm going to check more stuff out later today and brought YR, but I have a feeling identical swatches won't keep me from buying it.

lol.gif Well, I pretty much have all of them already. I'm more of a red lipstick person myself anyway, but the same thing applies really.

mrrebates.com is another option! It's not as popular but sometimes the cashback is higher there. I find ebates to be more convenient though.

If you don't mind the application, then no, Dramatic Encounter isn't necessary. However, the application of Dramatic Encounter is a lot nicer and more opaque than Yung Rapunxel. The benifit of Yung Rapunxel is that you can build up its intensity since it applies sheer. Lol, I'm no help! I'm glad to have both because I can apply them differently, but I don't feel the need to BU either one since I do have both.

Will you PM me the Ebates link? Thinking of signing up.

I've been so busy with work the past couple of days that I haven't made it to Nordstrom to pick up my order of Glamordaze and Innocence lipsticks. I was trying to be strong and not look for an Outrageously Fun BU since it was canceled from my order. I want to get other things like the Chanel Holiday quad (shontay -->th_devil.gif), but I may cave and get it along with the Whisper of Guilt BU I've been contemplating. I still need to re-swatch Round Midnight, too.

Those swatches show the same thing I said from the beginning about Feminine Edge. It's clumpy and doesn't apply smoothly. Using a primer did help it though. I still don't want to give up on it yet. I'm going to exchange mine for another one to see if it may work better.

Looking forward to and will await your further analysis.  At this rate I doubt they'll sell out.

Were the pigments supposed to be released in stores today as well? I don't see them online yet.

Thanks! Theoretically, I know that I don't NEED DE. But, realistically, if it's still available in store, you know I'm going to bring it home with me.

TY I must have gotten it confused with the palette release date.

That's main reason why I decided to not get a Nordstrom card. I feel like I get faster rewards using my Discover. I think it would take too long for me to reach the 2000 point level to get a Nordstrom note.

I got the Nordstrom card because the promotion offered an initial note at that time.  I need to use it before it expires, so I'll be applying it to my GD pre-order.

Nope, it's Nov.... th_confused_new.gif  Dang it, I forgot the exact date again! I know it's early Nov. I need to close this forum and get back to work. It's too distracting.

T's swatch of Mystery scares me. It's the only e/k I got. Did anyone else get it? Did you get the same result she did?

There are so many things coming out I still can't wrap my head around all the dates. Story of my life I'm doing payroll while browsing and I keep getting distracted.

It looks super patchy, and I'm upset because I saw it in person but I was so in love with the color that I didn't even bother to swatch it and now I regret that I'm going to pick up my order today so I'm going to try it out and if its patchy and clunky which I definitely anticipate I'll just be getting a blacktrack
