today i put on talk softly to me all over my lips but  then i decided to add some color so i dabbed dramatic encounter. it looks like a faded plum color     is anyone else loving Talk softly to me???

I think I choose wrongly, and probably should have just went to my store to pre-order instead of doing it on the phone  (been waay stressed and didn't feel like going, don't feel like going to pick my stuff up today).

But I choose wrongly for the lippies, I don't htink I'm going to like Dramatic Encounter or Innocence.  Instead of these two, I would've gotten glamourdaze.  I thought it would be way more brown than the way it is swatching.  Oh well, I'm sure there is a dupe somewhere out there.  I will find it. LOL

A natural flirt, Satin Taupe Dupe, and Round Midnight would look sooo pretty together. 

In t's photos, a natural flirt reminds of a light shimmery outre.

and after the day I've had dealing with an asshole English teacher treating me as if I'm 12 and not 21 I'm tempted to treat myself or just add them in to the palettes as Christmas presents to myself from my Mom, lol.

I'm so annoyed I could scream.  I absolutely hate teachers who embarrass students in front of the class and then continue to make it worse!  I'd report him but I just handed in my assignment and to be honest I don't know whether or not my grade would be affected and I can't risk it.  Gonna try to change classes though because I can't take him and his disgustingly patronising ways anymore.

I'm sorry that really sux. I hated pompous professors too. Just b/c you teach college doesn't mean you know everything. I hope everything works out for you and that you get the justice you deserve.

Lol, no problem! Question: Are they pulling your missing items from another Nordstrom store or are they just shipping from Nordstrom online? If it's from another store, you may want to call that store directly o make sure they've actually set those items aside for you to ship.

I'm also glad you were able to get your preorder sorted Medgal. I was telling hwdsprincess that I don't understand how they're taking these preorders and then misplacing them.

It sure is. I was sad when I was given Beauty by mistake. Glamourdaze is very pretty color. It never looked brown to me when I swatched. It's more of a mauve plum.

This is exactly what I'm afraid is going to happen to me. I guess we will see when I get there after work. My MAC store did call to left me know my pre-order is ready so at least I know I'm getting that.

Rebel is a lovely shade but it doesn't pull the colour I want it to on me.  I'm gonna try it with Vino l/l next time in hopes it does.  It doesn't look quite "berry" enough as it seems to on everyone else! :(

So you were able to get it straightened out? I was going to offer to check my store later today in case they weren't able to order it.

I forgot, were you eventually able to get Glamourdaze?

I had to wean myself off Glamourdaze l/s today so that I could try Outrageously Fun. I like it but I'm not entirely sure that I LOVE it just yet. I have one more pre-order to pick up today (How did I end up with 4 GD orders this week?!) and I'm trying to decide whether I should cancel my OF BU at pickup or bring it home and then swap it if I don't want to keep it. I already knew I loved GD days ago, I should have spent more time testing OF out! Things always look more appealing in store. 

Glamourdaze is such a good every day color. Hopefully I can get it somewhere with free shipping. I need to watch my pennies with all these collections coming up.

Btw, MRREBATES trumps EBATES when it comes to Nordstrom. You get 5% cashback. I've actually found them to be higher than Ebates for many stores so I end up using MrRebates more. I'd be happy to share a referral link if anyone is interested, but you can sign up on your own.

I went to local counter this morning and I am glad I didnt order stuff online as few items would be complete "miss" for me.Fludlines have chunky pieces of glitter and they look fairly decent swatched except when it dry, all glitter easily come loose and spreads everywhere. I was thinking of purchasing GD lipstick. After trying it on it I founf it more brown than swatches online and not as pretty. I end up buying iconic WoG and couple eyeshadows that i wasnt planning to get at all. I hardly ever back up products but after buying Natural Flirt and Stolen Moment (combination of both is simply stunning!) I went online to back up Natural Flirt. It is just gorgeous!
