You hae both? I haven't seen them swatched together, but it seems like Stay Pretty might be a softer shade? I could be wrong, haha. Go with whichever suits you better! Or keep both. Haha. I'm no help at all!
Have you tried warming it up with a liner or gloss? If it still doesn't work out, I'm sure you won't have a difficult time swapping it.

You did VERY well for someone who was going to skip this collection. Great choices! So glad you joined the insanity. ENJOY

This is my I'm skipping this collection haul:
I went to Mac first thing (there were 4 women already there at just 10:10am!) and got Ready to Party shadow, Impossibly Sweet lipglass, Small Vanity blush, Glamourdaze and Outrageous Fun lipstick. Outrageous Fun didn't remind me of Up the Amp and that's a good thing b/c I am really tired of that color and Glamour Daze is a really nice everyday sort of color. I see why it's so popular. Impossibly Sweet surprised me. It's one of those great multi-colored shimmery glosses that will go great over different shades to add more dimension. I love glosses like that. I got Ready to Party shadow because I am always chasing after those light pink shades and this one seems pretty pigmented and smooth.
I played with the Paramour Pink set and I really wish I could've bought the lipstick separately. It never fails every year: There's only one item that I want in a set and I can't buy it alone, but I can't force myself to pay $70 for the entire set. The coral set didn't seem to suit my skin, so that was an easy pass.
Then, I went over to Nordstroms and got Small Vanity blush (it was already gone at the Mac store). It surprised me b/c I thought it would be similar to something I already have, but it's not. They didn't have testers for the pigment and gloss sets, but I saw all these boxes sitting out on the floor and I asked what was in them. The MUA opened all the boxes for me and I chose the nude gloss set. I was going to get the purple, but I only really wanted the sparkly purple shade and it's not worth it (
Mac!). I actually liked the Nordstoms exclusive set of the nude lipstick, blush, gloss. The blush is the sort of warm copper brown I've been dying for, but the gloss is a lighter version of impossibly sweet and I'm not sure if the lipstick would work on me (it probably would, but I still had my doubts). I'll probably go back for it.So, that's it. Everything else was totally uninteresting to me. The other EDES are all shades I've seen a million times and Innocence and Beauty lipsticks look dreadful on my skin.
The black, sparkly nail polish was nice, but I'm not a fan of Mac polish. I'd rather get Zoya or China Glaze for a few more bucks.- Michelemu21

Nordstroms told me I had to pick it up Nov 8...I ordered the rose set and the coral set. I wish I could just have ordered the colors I wanted and got one set

I'm going to order the YSL nail polish in the exact same shade. Probably together with Small Vanity blush when GD launches here. My plan was to order the Bobbi Brown lippie I wanted, but they won't have those in yet when GD laucnhes, so I need to get something else to qualify for free shipping and also use my 5 Euro off code. And I've been lemming that n/p for a while now.

Just came across this review for the Neutral eye palette: http://www.musingsofamuse.com/2012/10/mac-fabulousness-neutral-eyes-palette-review-swatches.html.
Thank you for this. I'm glad I went back and ordered it now, because I love taupe!

Yeah I ended up buying Opera Rose l/s. I was going to get it at Sephora sale but since they didn't have one and I am not sure about the VIB sale I bought it.
I just picked up my (very small) pre-order at the counter, all I got was Ready to Party and the pink brush set. I'm actually really happy with the quality of the brushes, I wanted it to keep in my handbag for redoing my makeup after the gym or touching up if I'm heading out somewhere straight after uni and it does the job perfect for me!
While I was in the store I tried on Beauty lippie, OMG some weird colour cancelling happened and it literally just turned GREY on my lips, it was hideous! I've seen it look really good on some people though so don't know what's wrong with my lips! haha
Absolutely adore Ready to Party and thinking on going back for Round Midnight because it swatched beautifully! I'm also loving the guilty passions warm crushed pigments, the colours are very me! But I'm so clumsy I can't do pigments of any sort because I just end up making a huge mess and spilling them!
I just found a video on YT of a girl hauling two of the sets

Yeah and I ended up getting UD Naked skin from Ulta 20% anyways. YSL lipsticks are nice and I haven't bought any in awhile since they are so $$

When I paid for my blush I noticed a big display of leopard print boxes and asked what was inside. The MUA said the glosses and pigments. I mentioned that I thought they'd be released next week and she said nope. I guess that Nordstroms decided to just sell it all now. I'm glad they did because I hate waiting.- Michelemu21

im like $93 away from vib status. i started to buy from sephora on dec last year and i thought that it was hitting 300 in an anniversary date not calendar year. so i have like 361 but the dec points dont count. i was so happy thinking i was vib and nothing. and then i was like ohh ill spent more than that in the F&F sale. No, I never paid attention to YSL n/p before. This will also be my 1st YSL product ever. Have you seen the Jade Imperial that's coming out next spring? I have my eyes on that one. YSL Spring 2013 Makeup Collection – Sneak Peek | Chic Profile
