linainoz & princess sarah, I use Lyka from Parcel It On www.parceliton.com.au ... she is FANTASTIC!! I have used her at least 7 times now, and just recently for the Marilyn collection. For parcel forwarding I think it's $15 regardless of how many packages you get sent to her ($2.50 for package consolidation, like if you order a few packages she will pack them together), then there's a 3.9% admin charge then postage. Works out to be half the price of what you would pay in Australia, and that's including postage and the mail forwarding fees etc! She can even do custom purchases for you or use her c/c to buy from the MAC site. Amazing!

I know, the Australian prices are horrible!! $36 for one lipstick is outrageous in my opinion.

Hope everyone is okay after the arrival of Hurricane Sandy. Fortunately, my order arrived before Sandy did.  I'm thrilled with everything except Ready to Party.  There is very little pigment in this product, it is basically a duocrome wash which is pretty, and looks fabulous over DTH, but wasn't what I was expecting or hoping for.  Now, my big question is; what brush do you recommend I use to apply Whisper of Gilt over NC20?

I hope everybody in Sandy's path spent a safe night! Take care, all of you!

Todays is MAC-day, wohoo!

I can't wait to go to the Preview-Party!

my packages were supposed to delivered to my forwarding address in NY yesterday

but because of Sandy they were delayed / postponed

hop everyone & everything will stay safe there in the east side.. I saw some pictures & they're really scary =(

I hope everyone is ok?!

Wow...these are some fluffy brushes compared to what I have been using! Thanks so much for the recommendations!

I got in the habit of using my fan brush with Light Year due to the glitter, but these EDSF's need a heavier application...they are so pretty, I want to see them!

Thanks!

Thanks to all for your well wishes. We're still w/o power but at first glance this morning we appear to have no property damage. We'll take a better look when it's safe to go outdoors. Specktra has been a great distraction during this time. I'll need to go out to the garage to recharge my iPad soon but that's ok because it keeps me in touch with my family, friends & Specktra.

Be safe NE lovelies !!

It's beautiful! I was dithering between this one and the other pink one (can't remember what the set is called!)

I need to stop looking at swatches. Now I'm eyeing the Coral Divine Desire set thud.gif

Yeah, I was planning on using Lyka - I've used her before. Just thought I'd check and see if you were recommending anyone else. I'm hoping Bloomingdales have everything I want from MAC, because I'm also after some Estee Lauder and they have an awesome GWP at the moment. I was in the US last month and picked up a heap of makeup, but no MAC - for some reason I just wasn't feeling the love then! Oh well, off to try and trim my list.

Me, too! But I'm still going to peak at it today since my work is closed.

I'm using the 128 (pick up product with the synthetic side, 4-6 swipes, then place it on my face, and finally work the product into my skin with the top of the brush). The 130 is good, too (for a more precise application).

I also prefer the 128 as you can brush on the product and blend at the same time.

-Outrageously Fun is so pretty! love.gif Its different enough from Playtime and Naughty Saute to warrant having all 3. Its pink with fuschia and a slight purple hue on me.
-Ready To Party is so awesome! Its just what I was hoping it would be. It's a purple version of my beloved Young Venus! th_DANCE.gif
-Little Black Bow. I got 3 fluidlines open so I won't be opening it just yet. Hope I like it.
- Viva Glam bag. I can always use a lip conditioner so I like that. Finally got viva glam Nicki. At first I didn't like it on me. But I put it full on at first. So did the dab and smoosh, looks so much better that way! Plus I love to get something viva glam holiday every year.
Now for the bad...
- Beauty. BLAH! I thought for sure I'd love it, but wow! Ok, so I'm super pale and it's even too light for me! It goes on very patchy! It puts a nasty white line on my top lip. puke.gif I really tried to make it work. I did what I do with my matte lippies, exfoliate, moisturize, and prep and prime, liner, and it STILL didn't work. It and Mlle have to be the worst lippies I've ever tried.
-Mystery. Its not bad, but I took feline and put the green mega metal (Ego) over it and it was better than just Mystery by itself.
So I'll be sending them back and getting a refund or exchanging them.

Beauty looked like that on me too. back it goes today. and the little emoticon is perfect. that is exactly how i felt about it too. lol

Starting to appear on MAC UK site

Does anyone know when the MAC Guilty Passions Collection is launching on the MAC website?

Well it's all on the UK site so I've placed my order and I'm likely to be done with the collection now!  The only thing I may want is a BU of Glamourdaze.

Glamourdaze l/s

Whisper of Guilt EDSF

Small Vanity blush

Neutral Palette

Smokey Palette - both of these are Christmas presents from my Mom so I won't be touching them until then.

On to the next collection! :)

The EDES are listed as "full"-size (2g) on the UK MAC site - I'd be so annoyed if I had ordered them and expected them to be not-tiny!

Oh no, the pink brush set is tempting me with it's fluffiness!! I need to stay strong!

I was hoping for today, but you never know what MAC has in store for us.

We appear to have got everything at once, but it's a bit overwhelming!

It's up.. I can't decide if I want the Lavish Rose or Cocktail Coral.

I ordered:

Dramatic Encounter lipstick

Stolen Moment eyeshadow

Mystery Kohl Power

Orpheus Kohl Power

Lavish Rose lip gloss set

Hanging travel bag

Pretty restrained I thought...

The only other things I'm considering are Glamour Daze, A Natural Flirt, Raven and Catch My Eye...

EDIT: Does anyone have the Smokey Eyes kit? Any good? I love the colours but some of the reviews aren't that great.

Dramatic Encounter! (more pics and lip swatch on the blog, link is in my signature)
