is that the coral set inside as well? I should do what you did store my lipglosses in the box when i get my rose set.

I found an interview with Liz Goldwyn where she talks about the inspiration behind her collaboration with MAC (the leopard print/lace bags):

Wow, Cut a Caper is so much darker than Innocence. That explains why Innocence looks so pasty on me. I didn't bother to do comparison swatches after I tried it on because I instantly knew it was going back. I thought Innocence would be similar to Cut a Caper when I bought it. Cut a Caper is already light on me, but it's wearable. Innocence looks beautiful on you, though.

That's very interesting. Thanks for sharing. No idea the travel bag is based on 1950's underwear. Lol, that sounds funny, but I do like it.

Well singer82 already pointed out the differences very well, but I just wanted to add that sometimes you can get annoying threads (I'm not sure that's the right word) when you press your lips together and then open your mouth again. I'm sorry this sounds weird, but I don't know how to explain it:p I've found that as long as you don't overapply and clean the inner rim of your mouth with the finger pop tip that also helps prevent lipstick from getting on your teeth, then it's fine.
That is very true. And it is possible to overdo them. They can get pretty messy. That's the only downfall. My Sin-tillation oozes out like someones squeezing it for some reason. I recently stuck my glosses in the fridge. Maybe that would help.
And pinkdollface your skin is flawless too!
And I always love to see your looks you post.Edited by singer82 - 11/5/12 at 10:07am

Me too....I have high hopes in Archie`s Girls Collection!!!

I wish Spruced from the green crushed metals set was a regular pigment. It is so freaking pretty! But I already have 3 metal stacks and barely use them. I'm ready for some amazing new regular pigments! They are what made me fall in love with MAC. Them and lipsticks used to be all I bought from MAC for a while. Tartan Tale was the last time we had some awesome pigments come out!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you like the looks I do
Well, since today is my wedding anniversary and we took the first steps yesterday in purchasing a house, I broke down and bought the Lavish Rose gloss set. I selected gift wrap too. I hope I get the pretty satin bag when it arrives. I can't wait for my WOG and touch up kit to arrive from Nordies. Anyone have them ship but it say that there is no online tracking info and to call them? So strange. I know Nordies is trust worthy but I want my stuff lol.
My final haul once everything arrives:
OF l/s
GD l/s
IS l/g
CME f/l
SV blush
WOG EDSF
Touch Up Kit in Medium
Guilty Passions Gloss set in Lavish Rose
Of course who know what I might try to get next paycheck lol.

Love, love, love the look. duckrodeo, you are stunning!
I'm so glad I ordered the Neutral Eye Set, even after inadvertently receiving the Warm Set...will probably gift that to someone because my heart was originally set on the Neutral palette.

I used my Neutral Eye Set today and I'm in love with it! And as per mac-aiken's suggestion I tried Beauty l/s with Oversexed plushglass
I used Jaunty e/s on my lid with Quarry e/s in the crease, then I blended Enviable e/s from the Neutral set on top of Jaunty and put Brun e/s in the outer V, Blonde Mink in the inner corner of the eye for a highlight. I tried out Local Wares fluidline for the eyeliner, too. My first time using it, it pulls more green on me.
I'm also wearing Small Vanity blush with Perfect Topping, and the Marilyn bp as a finishing powder

I was a bad girl today. I was going to meet my makeup friend (that I met thanks to this forum!) and she called to ask if I also needed to get to the counter again. She wanted to get a blush from the collection and I had already put Stylishly Merry and Round Midnight on hold so of course we went. Well...I also got Evening Grey, Divine Blue, Superb and Whisper of Gilt. Now my total haul is:
All EDES
Both EDSF
ETG polish
All kohl powers (already had feline)
But still I didn't get blushes or lippies so that's good right?
No that's not good Pinkdollface...I think you need at least one of each

Sweet haul! Nordies online has been very late responding to orders. I ordered a few things on Friday and just received notice today. They usually send an immediate confirmation and I didn't even get that. I was assuming the effects of the storm, etc. Congrats on your wedding anniversary and good luck acquiring a house!!

All of the pigment sets are really pretty, I guess it just depends on which colours you like the most! The green one was gorgeous, the pink and gold one was really wearable and neutral, the one of the MAs was wearing the purple set when I was there yesterday and it was very smoky and sexy!
I can't stop thinking about the Brilliantly Cool set. I'm so drawn to all of the pigments in this set except Moss Green, which I already have. It appears that at least one pigment in each set is a repromote. Nevertheless, I like the other 3 pigments in the Brilliantly Cool set enough to purchase the set any way.

This collection is killing me.
So far I've hauled:
A Natural Flirt EDES
Stolen Moment EDES
Ready to Party EDES
Glamourdaze LS
Easy Manner blush
I'm almost certainly going back for Whisper of Guilt and the Mineralize brush set. I'm seriously tempted to give OF and Small Vanity another shot too. OF is way brighter than anything I own, but in every swatch I see it is sooo pretty and I feel like I need to try it on my lips before I rule it out for good. I dismissed Small Vanity because it looked way too dark swatched on my hand, but once it sheered out a bit it looked lovely, and I only own like 2 blushes, total.
And now I keep looking at more swatches and I am totally wanting the Lavish Rose gloss set, the smokey eye palette and the pink lip bag. Ugh, I'm not sure I can stretch to all that, especially with new collections coming soon.
On the plus side, I got a couple of compliments on my eye m/u today. I used Earthly all over with Stolen Moment in the crease and outer third, plus UD Rockstar liner. I was told it made my eyes look brighter
Definitely loving Stolen Moment.

I've had a bit of a chance to play around with my stuff now. Stolen Moment is lovely! I've used it in the crease (with Phloof on the lid, Smut in the outer corner and Vanilla to highlight) and also on the lid (with Night Manoeuvres in the crease, Black Tied in the outer v and Next To Nothing as a highlight) and both looks were really nice. With the first one I used Dramatic Encounter lipstick with Boys Go Crazy Dazzleglass (from the Lavish Rose set) and that was a great combo too. I still feel like DE was an unnecessary purchase considering I don't wear vampy lips that often, but I'm still a fan. Boys Go Crazy is my new favourite lipgloss - I love it! I've also used Orpheus on my lower lash line a couple of times and I'm very pleased with it. It's gold enough that it doesn't just look like another black, but dark enough to give definition.
I'm yet to try out Mystery or the other lipglasses from Lavish Rose, but I'm really happy with everything so far!
Wow. That look sounds amazing. I'm so late to the party in terms of actually using my goods, but I sure will be test driving this and some of the other looks posted.

Great haulage! Talk about Stolen Moment...how about 'stolen look.' I'm hope to try this one too, if you don't mind

Thanks everyone for the feedback!
I wanted to share how awesome I think the neutral palette is!
I think the neutral palette was a little neglected in the launch. I think most gravitated toward the Smoky eyes or the Warm eyes, which is exactly why I gravitated toward the Neutral set - the colors were different from what I own.
The greens are so gorgeous and versatile, and mixing the teal shade Enviable with Jaunty made a gorgeous olive green color, but still nude and toned down, complimenting my sweater without it looking too matchy-matchy
I'm pleasantly surprised by Beauty, I wasn't expecting much from it, but it really is a gorgeous lipstick and I can see why it sold out so quickly! I'm glad I picked it up, but I'm sure there will be a restock on the horizon, especially with all this down-time in between collections hitting us in December!
