MAC Holiday 2012 Glamour Daze / Fabulousness / Guilty Passions Collection Discussion - Page 229

I picked up the coral and lavish rose lipgloss sets today.  I love the boxes.  I gave one to my daughter w/o the glosses of course (she loved it and is walking around with it).  I am going to use mine to set on my counter with the eyestuff I use for the next day.  I haven't swatched anything yet but am deciding which ones to wait to open considering I have a lot of glosses open already.  I already have Color Saturation so this will be a backup.

I just love all the glitter in the dazzleglasses

Not really.. my friend is on holiday in Chili(cheeky madam lol) and my bf is on call, he works for the hospital.. we will go to town so hopefully he will treat me for a lunch, but we can't go far since he has to be in 15in radius from base :) I'm glad I'm able to go to town really, I was so busy at work recently.. We've gotta do packing as well since we are buying a house and hopefully getting our keys on monday..)) busy times.. but I'm finiding tim for make up lol

I got both of those and I LOVE them! Every colour is just so pretty

Call customer service and tell them that you didn't receive your gift wrap. The same thing happened to me. I called, and now they're just shipping it to me separately.

Yes! I've been thinking the same thing since ETG came out, I love Cult Nails! I have Happy Ending and while I don't wear it as much as I thought I would it's still super cute and I'm glad that I have it. Not to enable you, but you should check out the collection they just came out with yesterday! For the first week they sell it as a set of 5 for $40 and after that it's $10 a bottle, their collections are gorgeous and I particularly love the look of the shimmer-y grey and jelly green with flakes that are coming out in this collection, I think I'm going to try to get the set though because it's just such a good deal and all the colors have looked gorgeous in the photos I've seen. 

Ahhhh, my mum owes me £25 and told me to order some stuff for myself on Debenhams since she's getting some foundation.

But I don't know what I want!

That's even worse! I've been hooked ever since my first Chanel purchase. There's no going back, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Maybe your mom can get you a gift card from the store so you can purchase something when you're ready. That way you don't have to rush and could use it on an upcoming collection.

I've been buying Chanel bits and bobs since last year's Holiday collection, but this is my first blush and quad so I'm super excited! She buys me stuff all the time anyway, so I feel bad about taking money :( I'm sure I'll want something else soon!

That's just so lame!  The same thing happened to CartoonChic.  They shouldn't advertise or offer what they don't have.  Now the burden is on you to call MAC to remedy the situation.  So not fair!

So sorry you weren't able to get the stain out.  I'm totally afraid to take mine out of the gift bags.  I think I'll remove the product and use it independent of the clutch.  OYE!

I just discovered the brand and the new set would be a great way to try them, but I don't love the copper color.  The other 4 are gorgeous esp. the jelly green.  I probably should have posted that in the Nail thread.

I cannot believe how many birthdays we have this month, HAPPY BIRTHDAY all the Scorpios, I don't want to leave anyone out!

I just got the sinfully chic face kit, all for glamour gorgeous bronze, fabulousness smokey and primped out lavish coral... mmmm.... money well spent! not according to my husband, but to me. haha. Im seriously in love with all of it  They're all so natural looking and I can go from day to night without a problem. Thank God for being mac pro lol!

Today I've tried it again.. for the day look I wore equilibrium blush as a contour, horizon de chanel blush on cheeks and black liner.. it was really good, nothing odd!
Tonight I've created something else.. always equilibrium, star wonder msf, on the eyes I've used Moth brown on the lid (I know, in my picture you can't see it) vanilla as a highlight, UD blackout in the outer corner and UD perversion eye pencil!
 

soooo I guess GD it's great with neutral/pinky plum blushes but it wasn't good with warm stuff such as Nars blush Taj mahal or Mufe aqua cream N°9 which is coral...

I still have to try Glamourdaze paired with Whisper of gilt and golden eyeshadows.. in my mind it seems great but I have to test it on my face :P

That looks great on you!  I love the whole look, and the eye contouring is especially pretty.  The lip and blush combo is perfection.
