Thank you very very very much *___*
I'm not that good with color combinations... now I've learned that plum lips and orange cheeks are not good together ahahahah (such as purple lips with orangy-brown cheeks.. one of my worst mistakes).

Thanks a lot for all the tips!!
Today I've tried it again.. for the day look I wore equilibrium blush as a contour, horizon de chanel blush on cheeks and black liner.. it was really good, nothing odd!
Tonight I've created something else.. always equilibrium, star wonder msf, on the eyes I've used Moth brown on the lid (I know, in my picture you can't see it) vanilla as a highlight, UD blackout in the outer corner and UD perversion eye pencil!
soooo I guess GD it's great with neutral/pinky plum blushes but it wasn't good with warm stuff such as Nars blush Taj mahal or Mufe aqua cream N°9 which is coral...
I still have to try Glamourdaze paired with Whisper of gilt and golden eyeshadows.. in my mind it seems great but I have to test it on my face :P
Looks great on you!!!!

Has anyone purchased the Mineralize Brush Kit from this particular collection? Two different MUAs recommended I get this set for the EDES/EDSF. Can anyone comment on the quality of this particular kit? I mean is it a waste of money? I'm trying to decide if I should go ahead and get this $50 kit or spend even more for only 2 brushes.

Honestly speaking, If u are going for brushes that u wan to last u or many many yrs, I rather u spend more on the 2 full size brushes.
The travel kit is good if u are always on the go, and if u want something which is more convenient for u to carry out. If u hardly travel, and jus use it mostly it @ home, get the 2 full size brushes.
Otherwise if u travel often, get the set. So it depends on ur lifestyle. But personally... I would choose the 2 full size brushes.
One more thing u should know, the sets are massed produced and the full sized ones are hand made. So long term wise, I would go for the 2 full size brushes. But still a travel set would be handy if u are travellling. jus my 2 cents worth XD
I have a few travel size brushes from MAC, But i always noticed I end up bringin my full sized brushes overseas to use. Somehow, I like the feel of a full sized brushed better as compared to a short handled one, but that's just me.

as geeko mentioned, in terms of longevity of the brushes, it is worthwhile getting the full-size brushes, unless of course you travel a lot or have an on-the-go type of lifestyle. the quality of the full size brushes is almost always much higher compared to the 'SE' brushes.
i bought a set of face brushes from one of the holiday collections several years ago, and for me it was a good way of quickly expanding my brush collection at lower cost, and also determining which brushes i liked/used most -- which can vary a great deal from person to person. some of the brushes from that kit i bought eventually crumbled or got lost, but others are still holding strong after repeated washings.
you might also want to compare the feel of the full size brushes with the mini ones in the store.

I am loving the Cocktail Coral Lip Set! Out For Glamour d/g is gorgeous! I do hope MAC releases the full size of it soon! Also, I am loving both Glamour Daze l/s and Dramatic Encounter l/s! GD l/s is something that I would use everyday! As for DE l/s, I love the application of it! It applies more evenly than Yung Rapunxel l/s! As for the Khol Powers, they glide on like a dream! <3

I agree with geeko and aradhana. I would invest in the full size brushes for longevity and better quality. That's been my strategy so far. The travel brushes may last for a while, but they will eventually need to be replaced. You'll end up spending more money to replace them in the long run. The full size brushes have been known to last for many years if properly maintained. The brushes that I have I bought over time and as I needed them. It takes longer to build up my collection this way, but I'm not worried about having to replace the brushes later.
I have the Mineralize set, but I haven't used it yet. It's nice and I like it, but I got it specifically for the purpose of traveling. Not for regular, daily use. I have the full size 187, 130 and 286. The SE versions feel different from their full size counterparts. I can't explain it. They don't feel bad or anything, but they don't seem as nice as the full size brushes. The full size 130 is at my CCO.

So I got my lipgloss set in Coral.
The Out for Glamour Dazzleglass' brush was sooooo hard. It felt so rough on my lips. Now that I think about it, it looked like it had been opened too.. sniff sniff.
Is this normal or should I go back to exchange it?

Thanks for your input ladies. I'm gonna try to go to the CCO tomorrow or Sunday to see what's up. I may, however, get the brush set to save some money for now. I'm a really light makeup user so I think they'd last me as long as I wanted them to - a year or two. Also, it's something I could just pass along to my daughter if they don't work for me. She loves pink!
I just bought 4 NARS brushes tonight so I spent a pretty penny. I feel like I need some duo fibre brushes for some creamier products I got recently otherwise I'll have to wait until next year to try my new goodies. I could get some cheapie brushes, but I figure the MAC SE would cost me the same and have the same or better quality. It's be awesome if I found last year's Mineral Brush Kit at the CCO tomorrow. It'd save me even more money while I'm in this experimenting phase.

I finally got All my stuff earlier this week!
& I photographed & swatched everything yesterday.. Copied from my Blog "u can see all the photos there"
My picks were 3 Lipsticks (1 BackUp), 2 Mini Extra Dimension Eye shadows, 1 Fluid line, 1 Perfectly Plush Brush Kit & 1 Divine Desire Kit.
-2 Outrageously Fun Lipstick ($16.50)

Now Sets turns! I got 2 as mentioned before..
Will start with the Perfectly Plush Mineralize Brush kit, this is one of the 3 sets.. I know mini brushes are machine made & not perform well as full sizes.. but I Love minis & special packaging's! & they're great for traveling & touch ups, I chose the mineralize kit which is a peach purse with 4 brushes: 187SE Duo Fiber Face Brush, 130SE Duo Fiber Brush, 282SE Duo Fiber Shader Brush & 286SE Duo Fiber Tapered Blending Brush. I am most excited to try the 130SE.. I think it will great with MSFs. the big is larger than the brushes.. there's extra space to add few items.. and it's covered with plastic.. yay easy to clean!

The brush is fine. They come that way sometimes. Take the brush and at a slight angle push it against your hand to break up the bristles. You might have to do it a few times while turning the brush. Once the bristles are not smooshed together anymore it will be a normal brush from there on out.
