I was tempted by EDES and other gift sets but I decided I don't really need those considering the ammount of make up I already have, and I prefer to have my MAC eyeshadows in a palette, so if they were regular eyeshadow I could have depotted them..)) You were very good indeed.  I pretty much stuck to plan but had to have a Mahogany lip pencil & a Pro Blush Palette.

Yep I was going to get 100 pounds worth of eyeshadows, but they didn't have any empty palettes in stock, which is fair enough, because I will spend the money elsewhere instead..)) But I did get my Glamourdaze goodiesheart.gif

Eeeeeek yay!  You have to tell me if you like GD l/s!  I really hope you do as I insisted you get it!  I really need to pick up Innocence at some point but if I miss it, ah well.  I have Xmas coming up and presents to buy - I can't afford to be buying myself tons of make-up.  I try to tell myself the same thing "I don't NEED this. I have tons" but it's never enough. -_-

I'm still loving GD l/s, WOG and SV.

 

I've not worn make-up much the past week or so, infact I don't know if I have at all to be honest.. I've been so distracted with college.  My Psych assignment was handed in Monday which I was up til 6am with and I just got my first English assignment back which I was nervous about - it's graded in 3 sections and I got 2 Merits and a Distinction, which in Canadian/American terms is 2 B's and an A, basically.  So I'm thrilled.  For personal reasons I didn't finish high school so my being in college is a complex story but these are the first 2 assignments I have ever done in my life that were working towards my future.  Fingers crossed my Psych is just as good!

 

I was going to order Innocence lipstick and possibly a couple perm e/s but my debit card has vanished so I've had to cancel it and order a new one.  Absolutely no idea where it went and I was absolutely moritifed.  If only someone would be stupid enough to give me a credit card I could order them anyway, lol!

 

Been a rough week. I'm spending tomorrow in my bed, sleeping.

off topic. urban decay has a buy 2 shadows and get a free build your palette that has an eyeshadow. i had to get some. i just cant control myself. i had a $5off coupon .  i got free love + abc gum + the 6 pan palette. and the shadow that fits me perfectly after placing an order  --- WALK OF SHAME!!

congrat.gif   That's wonderful news about your grades. That's a shame and annoying about your debit card, but at least that can be replaced. Don't let that overshadow your accomplishment. You earned those grades and that's priceless.

Thank you!  I really am so proud of myself for having achieved the grades I did!  You're right, I won't.  At the end of the day it can be replaced and it doesn't look as if any money has gone missing from my account.  I can reward myself later! :)

For more thorough washing, i'm using a tube of brush cleaner i got free with a purchase from some other company. So far my brushes are doing OK, but i gather there's better. I'm working on using it up, then i'll switch to something else once it's gone.

Nope, no restock...only 4 eyeshadows and 1 lipglass have been sold out.  I keep checking at least once an hour for a restock. =(

Do you like the new palettes?  I like the clear plastic lid and the removable insert but I don't like the depth of the palette for storage purposes.

Thanks. I wasn't sure because I was only checking the items I want to BU and they're still sold out. I think they will restock because it's their big holiday collection. I just don't want to miss out when they do. Please post back here when you see it.

Yay, well done! I've also finished a couple of essays on the day that they were due using the "who needs sleep anyway?" method girlhaha.gif

 

I lost my debit card last summer - I left it in the card machine at the train station after picking up train tickets! I only realised when I got to London for the weekend a few hours later! Luckily I had a friend with me to lend me money, and I'd withdrew £30 earlier that day. I felt like such an idiot blink.gif

It's a very handy spray for a quick clean in between washes (I have a designated "brush washing night" where all brushes used during the week get washed together. lol. Except for my foundation brush because I only have 2 so I have to wash them more frequently). I use the spray mostly on my gel liner brushes because I don't have enough to last me the week and I like to use a clean brush for precise application. My e/s brushes don't receive much MUFE treatment because I have quite a few, so I only use the spray if I absolutely need a particular brush and that brush has a completely different colour on it. I don't use it at all for bigger, denser face brushes because I don't see the point.

 

Basically I spray it on the brush and wipe the brush on a tissue. It's not so much of a deep clean but it does get the colour off so the brush can be used with a different colour. It dries in about 45-60 minutes, I think. But I've never used a brush so soon after spray cleaning it so perhaps it would be a better idea to wait a bit more to be on the safe side.
