Anyone still see the divine desire sets at their stores? My sis wanted the pink set but couldn't make up her mind, now she wants it and its sold out online and at our store...

Ashleybubbles83, my Pro store has two left.  Let me know if you want a CP.

Is it just me or is it a pain in the rear to get Ready to Party to show up? I tried to do a look today with RTP in the inner half of the lid, DB on the outer half, and TG&H in the crease (plus a wee bit of TG&H along the outer half of the lower lashline). TD&H was great, DB more or less behaved itself (I've seen better), but RTP took a gazillion layers to show up. The end result was worth it though

I think my UDPP was still too wet when I put on RTP. I'm going to wait a bit longer next time.

Beauty, on the other hand, is a very aptly named lipstick heart.gif

Are there any NC15 ladies who find Beauty lipstick flattering? That one is still haunting me, although I know I usually look horrible in pale colours...th_dunno.gif

Well I think I might be a NC10 (NC15 is a bit too dark for my liking) and I like Beauty a lot. Yes, it is cool toned and very pale, but the glaze finish keeps it from looking like whitewash. It depends on whether or not you like ghostlike lips, really. I'm well aware that brighter colours are more flattering on me, but it doesn't stop me wearing the pale stuff. The same goes for red eyeshadow. I know it makes me look like I've risen from a toxic swamp but I wear it nevertheless supacool.gif

If you wear a lot of cool-toned smoky eyes I think Beauty would complement the look very nicely.

edit - ah, the link you posted on the GF thread is working :)

I don't think the seller has a hope in hell shifting 2 lippes for 175 quid. LE or no LE.

I'm NC15 and i'm totally in love with Beauty lipstick love.gif I originally decided against it for the exact same reason, but when i tried it on in the store i just had to have it. Maybe you can test it first in the store to be sure? :)

I have not worn my Beauty yet......have not found the right combination (I am nc15 too). But I loved the feel of the glaze, such a fab finish. So it will stay with me. I will probably blend it with one of the Lavish Rose glosses or perk up a bit with Inez. I don't think I can wear it as it is. Depending on the liner I use, that might change it too. Meanwhile, Glamourdaze went back. It did nothing for me and did not feel as nice.

I cannot wear red plum eyeshadows. I do look like I have a bruise, or did not sleep well. That is why although I liked Stylishly Merry on my list, I ended up leaving it behind.

I have buyer's remorse about Stolen Moment. But I am also wondering if it is worth trying to get (if it is even anywhere after yesterday's cyber monday massacre) Tall Dark & Handsome. I do have black shadows in other sets, so maybe not important.

RTP is definitely a pain even though it's so gorgeous. I've used it on the inner corners of my eyes and it shows up brilliantly there. I've also layered it over NYX chubby pencil in Oyster which was gorgeous but a lot more purple than RTP actually is.

I loooove Divine Blue. I wore it just packed on the lid with winged black liner and Beauty on my lips. Felt very 60s but I still loved it.

I'm still tempted to get TDH. I think I probably will in the upcoming weeks because I know I'll use it often.

TD&H is a very versatile, wearable shadow. I don't usually have the time or patience to use my "proper" black shadow (UD Perversion) as crease colour when I'm getting ready in the morning and I wanted a softer, less fussy substitute. I think TD&H fits the bill quite nicely :)

I wore it with Hip & Happy liner. I just applied it straight from the tube.

What is it about Beauty that you don't like?

I didn't find any in stock online, but maybe try your nearest Macy's and see if they can do a store search for you. Belk and Dillard's also may have store stock since those stores are a bit less popular. Good luck.

I wanted to skip buying the crushed metal pigments, But i caved in and ended buying the purple crush metal pigment set and the brown one sighs....Gottaban2.gifmyself buying make up for the next two mths. I have honestly spend too much on the holiday collection. Ouch...not forgetting that MAC is more exp over here than in the states.

It applies patchy and uneven. And makes it look like I ate powdered donut lol. I feel like I've tried everything. Exfoliating, prep n prime lip, liner. Maybe I just haven't used the right liner?

Could be. What liner(s) did you try? Hip & Happy was a decent match, but I'm going to try Sephora Nano lip pencil in Native Nude the next time I wear it.

I agree that it's quite a high maintenance, unforgiving colour. My lips don't get on well with winter weather, and I very much doubt Beauty would be my pick on bad lip days. Exfoliating does me more harm than good, so I just slather on industrial quantities of lip balm. One day they're in great shape, the next they're flake city.
