  Happy New Year.  Actually, I wouldn't mind a break for January.  I know technically Strength and Stylish Brow are our January collections but I am glad to be able to take a breather (and a month to save up) because I can already predict the fr3nzy with Archie.  Its gonna be bananas.

I need a break too. I'll check out stylish brow and then hopefully I am done until AFTER Archie. It may be just me but the packaging turns me off so much I haven't even bothered to look closely at the product.

I have a VERY long list of permanent items I can spend my MAC money on.

I just got my invite to my local MAC store's 'Archie's Girls' event on February 4.   Cocktails & Canapes will be served and I got a ticket for a photo-op with Archie and a ticket for one sweet candy heart tin.  I don't care if we have a foot of snow that day--I'm going.  If I have to rent some dogs and sled like the Iditarod race-- I'm going!

Along with the invite was a gift of Taupe Shape blush.  Soooo awesome!!!

Yes, it was gratis.  It's the real deal.  I'm not aware of 'sample sized' blushes.  I'm so grateful to the staff at this MAC store.  They are professional, personable, and kind.  I'm always amazed when I hear about bad experiences at MAC stores because this store has been Utopia for me from day 1.  I have never walked in without everyone acknowledging my presence with a hello and a smile.  They do that with everyone.  It certainly enhances the shopping experience, and that makes one return for more.  I don't mind dropping big $$$ at this store.  They are all ANGELS!!!

Seriously! I could use an extra Taupe Shape…something's telling me I'm not getting one in the mail with my invite. 

My MA did give me a Zen Rose sheen supreme as a birthday present last year, though!

Ooh! Zen Rose is one of my faves!

I want a tin with candy in it.  A blush sample would be good too.  But I will settle for getting the products I am wanting at the retail price before they sell out.  If I'm lucky...

On one of the MAC collection boards here i offered to take a photo of swatches of two colors for comparison - someone wondered if they were similar and i just happened to have them - i'm pretty sure it was after Christmas but before New Years.

It rained the next day and the day after and the light was not good, so i put it off. Then it slipped my mind. Now we've had a couple sunny days but i CAN'T REMEMBER which board and which colors - heck, i can't remember which product! It was most likely something for eyes or lips. I've tried searching my own posts, but i'm not having any luck finding it.

So if anyone remembers me offering to photo some swatches, let me know what it was and in which forum - we're supposed to have rain again in a few days and i would like to keep my promise.

Sorry if this has been asked & answered, but I am too lazy to read thru all these posts. Do we know when the next update on the collections will be or has it been posted yet? My impatience is coming back. I need to know about makeup and collections and lippies and .... just everything. Tx!

Does anyone know what MAC collection this is and when is it being released?

that was for a fashion show. we discussed it a long time ago. mac made that collection just for the meadham kirchhoff fashion show, they did the same last year, some cute glittery lipsticks. so its not going to be released. sad i know. everything looks so pretty.
