Hope you feel better! Surgery is scary (I had 2 open heart surgeries) with very little assurance that life was going to be okay. One of the procedures I wasn't even aware of lol. If it makes you feel better, gallbladder removals are usually very successful and you just have to reduce the amount of fat in your diet (due to lack of bile storage), but your body will still produce the bile. It just won't be enough to digest a huge amount of fat from the diet in a single meal. We can all benefit from a lower fat diet anyway! :) Hopefully you won't need it though. >_< So many people these days are getting their gall bladder or appendix removed. *curse you inflammation*

I guess she's been popular in the UK for a few years now, but she's just starting to get recognized/played here in the States since releasing Electra Heart (it has a lot more of a catchy mainstream, pop sound but I prefer it to most of the music played on the radio here, her first album is really good though; I just love her voice). I'm pretty sure Glee is actually supposed to cover one of her songs (How to be a Heartbreaker), so that'll definitely bring some attention to her music (I actually saw one of her music videos on E!, and I know she's touring here for the second time in the past year this May, and a lot of her shows sold out last time & are selling out this time too, so obviously she has some fanbase here) The more I think about it, the more excited I get.. I'd love to see MAC do some sort of mini collection with her! It seems like a bit of a stretch, but Azalea Banks seemed to be too, so who knows! *fingers crossed* Pleasssse MAC

Ohhhh baby! Marina is a brills suggestion. Totally deserving, not an obnoxious loud mouth attention slore....I would love to see a Viva Glam spokesperson who was controversy free, it would just be a nice change up. THEN MAC could go back to their controversial folks. It's just gotten to be gimmicky IMHO ( Lady Gaga, Nicki, Azealia, Rihanna) I know the last two aren't VG. I was sad about some of the things Azealia
said particularly because she's talented and pretty fly. Anyhow, it's ok to have a lower profile VG spokesperson. RuPaul was ideal, flashy AND classy. Would love to see a return to that. / end rant

Ooh, Marina would be a great pick! It would definitely help bring attention to her music.

I dried my brushes yesterday with the bristles hanging over the edge of the counter.  It worked pretty good.  Do you lay your brushes on a towel to dry?  Is it really a big deal to have them dry upside down?

I always dry my brushes with the bristles hanging over the edge of the counter, works like a charm. smiles.gif My brushes are the same as when I bought them so..

I notice over the weekend that I am as pale as a ghost. I don't have a bronzer and don't tan so I have been searching the web for some ideas.

Does anyone have an opinion on Minseralize Skinfinish Natural in Give Me Sun? Or any other MAC bronzer?

I can not wear shimmer, but this doesn't look shimmery. For reference my foundation shades are NW20, C1 and N4.

I really appreciate any help you can give. TIA

Does it have to be MAC? I like Sundipped but that was LE. Otherwise Too Faced Chocolate soleil bronzer and I am nw20.

Thanks Michelemu21.

Doesn't have to be MAC, I just normally use MAC. I am planning a trip to Sephora this week so I'll check out the Chocolate soleil.

I second the too faced chocolate soleil. Seriously the best bronzer I've ever used. Great for contouring too and it smells sooooo good!

Hey Lyse,

I have MAC MSFN Give Me Sun and I am a NC25. I think it can run a little too orange for a bronzer, for my personal taste.

Sundipped is amazing!and it's going to be repromoted in May.i'm an NC 20 and it looks very natural on my skin.i also love Benefit's Hoola but it's a bit darker than Sundipped,i usually use that one in the summer.

They don't have to be upside down. I personally think the brush tree is a waste of space/money. Laying them over the edge of a counter is perfect. A towel will help keep them from rolling off the counter, but that's all.

Nothing wrong with being pale! I'm not a fan of bronzer period, but moreso in the winter. You're not supposed to be bronzed in the winter!

But i find GMS to be too much colour on fairer skin. Go with golden instead.

"First MAC poster campaign in France, see you on 5th March." Something like that.

Oh his next tweet explains it!

Has mac ever done a superhero collection other than wonderwoman? I could imagine a mac x marvel collection would be amazing!

I normally embrace my paleness but I just seem so pale this year. My daughter came home from college on the weekend and asked if I was unwell. ssad.gif

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I will skip GMS (the last thing I want is to look orange) and maybe try and wait for Sundipped.

I was able to score one in a swap so I didn't pay retail but it is worthwhile to go and check in a department store or Sephora to see how it looks in real life.  I have to confess I hoarde mine, so I won't run out, but it is more $$$ than an MSF but probably lasts longer because it isn't as soft/powdery.

We've (some of us) talked about this before. I think it be a great idea along with Jem!      Thinking back into my childhood some of these ideas will be childish but the colors would be great.....Rainbow Bright and Strawberry Shortcake would be interesting.

Sorry! I didn't realise it had been discussed before, I watched avengers again last night and was thinking how cool it would be to have a collection on the characters! :)

We like brainstroming ideas together. The idea of a Marvel collection has come up a few times by different people so maybe they will actually do it. Everybody seems to be on the same page with this.
