You can check out the z palettes. If you're gonna use the mac palette without the insert then it would look similar to the z ones so you can use that one instead. I have all my PLW and mega metals in a large z palette.

I got a large Z palette and it's awesome!  A little pricey, but it ships fast and now I have a palette that can hold my MSFs and mineral blushes.

Haven't tried depotting my MSFs but my MES and mineralize blushes are in one dome z palette. I love them, such space savers.

I like neutrals, but I don't know how to use pigments. The MUA at my store was appalled by that and wants to convert me. No can do - I don't need a new expensive obsession. These look easier to use though.

Thank you so much for sharing Naynadine!

I thought that a few of them were brighter but I still really like them and will get several of them.

If they have the same sheen as the ones from F&B it might be better if the colors are more muted because

otherwise it could be too much.

Sheen + a dark/muted "base color" is very pretty heart.gif

Those will look amazing over a nice base. eyelove.gif

well the colours in the pots aren't that thrilling to me however i shall see how they swatch :) i think they'll actually be really pretty on the skin so may pick up a couple.

Thank you Naynadine! I still have to try out the one I've already got to decide if I want any of these. And I need to use my other pigments, too! But basicly they look ok to me.

If you use a sticky base and keep them away from your tear duct, you should be fine.

It's not that I don't like colors, I'm just not that interested to try the formula. I kinda like the idea of the pale yellow one, to dab a little on the lid over a neutral eye look. Not sure if that would work. But I think I'd rather get the gold Illusion D'Ombre for that. I saw a video tutorial months ago, from Russian Vogue I think? They did the same thing using the I D'O and loved how it looked. I need to find that vid agan.

I LOOOVE the eye look. Would the yellow Pressed Pigment work to recreate that?

I see three that pique my interest, but only swatches will determine if it will be a skip for me.

yes i think it would work . last time i wore the pigment i put spot lit from all over my lid and upper crease then put a matte emerald green in the crease and if became like that really sparkly. i like the pigments i dint see any glitter on my cheeks or fall out.

I have to put the pigments on last or they spread like crazzzzy.

on the eyes??? if its on the eyes i agree. your whole eye look is going to be sparkly. even the matte shadows change. but i dont end up with sparkle on my cheeks.

If I use a brush I get fall out. With my finger and fix plus it isn't as bad.

I can't stand to use my fingers in powder products though because it forms a nasty film and ruins the finish.  I wonder if Urban Decay All Nighter would freeze those migrating glitters into place?

I scrape it out with my spatula then press it on my finger with the curved end of the spatula. It does not freeze them or work as well as Fix+. I spray my finger before I dab it. All nighter seems to dry it out and make it flakier.

Yes,this works really great!

But I am using a brush because I always prefer a brush over my fingers.

I think this would work well with pixie epoxy as a base. It works wonders for my MES.

I second mousygiggles' suggestion of using a spatula. I'm not sure if the MAC spatula is available on the regular website, but this might be a nice option (or get a cheap one from a pharmacy). I use my spatula daily for various cream products (and you will love it to scrape out the blush from your CR quad). HTH.

Yep, works like a charm and no spreading or fall out.

Now that is a brilliant idea!!!!! I dont touch my products as it is and use a Mac spatula for cream products but never thought of that for glittery pressed pigments!
