I think I owe her an anti-enable after talking her into those boat load of Infallibles! HeeHee
Lord knows that tactic won't actually work on myself! I'm getting at least 3 of these! LOL
I really DO believe the Infallibles are an easier product to work with if you love the look of the pressed pigments (or even regular pigments) but are new to that formula and are worried about fallout and application issues and techniques... so, in that respect, I guess I am backing my anti-enabling in this case! Believe it or not! HeeHee ![]()
And that lovely video that was posted from the Russia Vogue YouTube... I have done that exact same technique with my Loreal Infallible in Eternal Sunshine! It adhered like a dream and looked stunning!

^ Another rave for pixie epoxy. if you have oily lids, just put the UD primer potion on first and then a bit of pixie and everything sticks so well. you dont even need much of it! I love how it transforms loose powders and glittery anything. It's the same effect as wetting your brush, but you don't ruin your product and it lasts longer than water which isn't really an adhesive.
I tried and I tried and I tried but I couldn't get PE to work for me. I tried it on its own and I ended up with crease city. UDPP, Bare Study PP or NYX Milk didn't help with the creasing either. And I found blending to be an absolute nightmare (I know it's a sticky base and it is, by default, going to make blending a tad more difficult but I wasn't expecting it to make it impossible). I so wanted it to work because I have a lot of Fyrinnae loose shadows and most of them need some sort of sticky base to really come alive. Booo!

I'm sorry that PE didn't work for you. Now I'm happy I didn't try it and just went with Too Faced Glitter Glue. Maybe that would be an option for you? It does make blending a bit harder like expected, but definitely not impossible. It also doesn't crease on me. I guess if the regular TFSI creases than this would also, but for me the regular TFSI is a HG primer.
I haven't tried TF Glitter Glue but I definitely will. Thanks for the advice :)
You could still give PE a shot though. It seems to have worked for a lot of people - chances are I simply haven't figured out how to make it work for me. The blending issue aside, it felt a bit heavy - as in, I felt that there was an extra layer of something on my eyelid. That's not something I feel comfortable with, which is why I never wear false eyelashes either. So it's probably as much of a personal preference issue too. As someone already mentioned upthread, they have (at least they used to) a mini size too. You are meant to use a very small amount of product anyway, so even the mini should last you a loooooong time.
On a brighter note, many of Fyrinnae's more recent shadows don't need PE to look good. I had very good results with shades like Cuddlefish, Bloggers Beauty, Picture it: Sicily and Ptrenadon with just UDPP as a base.

With TFGG I also get that feeling that I have an extra layer on my eyelids, but it dissapears as soon as I put eyeshadow over it, it quite strange actually. I won't buy the PE since I already have TFGG and that does what I wanted it to do. I would recommend if you were to buy TFGG that you take your PE with you so you can swatch the two side by side on your hand and see if it feels different enough. If it feels the same then maybe you won't like TFGG either.
I have never gotten anything from Fyrinnea. I don't like that they have such a long waiting list. I'm way to impatient for that. That's also one of the reasons I went with TFGG.

Sounds like TFGG is what I wanted PE to be :)
re: Fyrinnae waiting list - I wouldn't be put off by it. The website does talk about a 18-30 day wait but both my orders were shipped out a lot quicker. They probably say that because they got fed up with people asking about their orders two days after they have placed it. They are a small company so they probably don't have a dedicated CS department to handle all the where-is-my-order questions. Also, they probably operate with little inventory so they probably factored in the extra time they'd need to produce the stuff in the event they run out.
I wouldn't say their shadows are mindblowingly good (unlike Sugarpill
), but they some very interesting shades that are worth looking into.

I'm very happy with my Sugarpill shadows and pigments. I actually finally order Heartbreaker last friday. I got it since the imats exclusive shadow @#$%! was finally available to me too. I was on beautylish already, but they don't ship international. I'm so excited for that order!

Do you receive email from them? I got an email friday and that's how I knew about it. Just make an account if you don't have one yet:) I think they will offer it again on their site, so just keep an eye out for the emails.
I love blues and green so I think this will be my favorite too!

No I mean sugarpill.net. You should subscribe. They don't have a ton of emails, but you will know when there are new items on the site or if they are doing sales. Around black friday there is a sale I believe, so if you subscribe you will also be informed about that.
Will do!
I hope they don't charge silly amounts for the shipping. I like to place multiple small orders so that the total value of items is less than EUR22 per shipment. You know what the customs and courier company charges are like. I once made the mistake of placing a large-ish order so that I could take advantage of combined shipping. The taxes themselves weren't too bad (OK, they were bad, but not overly so) but the amount I had to pay to TNT was eye watering. That's why I try to order from EU-based companies even though the prices are much higher and the selection is narrower (all my Sugarpill stuff are from Love-Makeup and Cocktail Cosmetics, for instance). There are probably better ways of working around the customs issue but that's the only workable solution I found.

Up to $20 dollars it's $6 for shipping and up to $40 it's $8, so it's not that bad. I guess now I'm sure that the note I found in the mailbox from my house was meant for me. It said that there has to be payed for a package. I ordered some polishes on ebay. I've never before had to pay to receive a package and I've had big orders also from sugarpill for example. I guess it's just a gamble and sometimes you're lucky and sometimes not.

From what I understand you have a boat load of those Loreal Infallibles
... So I think you're all set! Since the Infallibles are basically a loose pigment with a little stickiness to them to help them adhere to the skin... they are the best... especially for beginners that are new to pigments! HTH
After personally shippping me what felt like a case of them, I think you understand only too well how many I have!
(Well, had. I shared with my teen daughter who has decided that these are her favourite shadows. She loves the wear and actually prefers them to MAC. I had 15 - I think I'm down to about 6. I've given her most of them because she clearly enjoys them so much and because they get a lot more wear that way than they would in my stash).
You were definitely right about these being special - thanks again for making that haul possible for me. ![]()
I don't think you can call it anti-enabling after Pixie enabled me to buy virtually the entire Infallible line in the first place. LOL![]()

I'm sure that's true and I don't need even one more shadow in my collection at this point. Hello, low to the point of almost no buy. I have so much that I've reached almost overwhelmed point so it's time to pause and enjoy what I have. I may even do a little pruning.

Have you ever tried ordering more? I think the import charges or whatever they are, are a bit random since I never had to pay them before. I'm expecting more packages and I guess I can let you know if I also have to pay taxes for those.
I got some OPI James Bond polishes...well some...half the collection plus the golden topcoat:p
Nope. After the first episode I decided to keep a low profile with the customs peeps. Once bitten twice shy etc... But I think it also depends on how parcels are described in the declaration form (gift or merchandise, etc.)
The Bond collection is lovely! I got Goldfinger, OHMSS, TWINE, L&LD. And TMWAGG, obviously. I wanted to get Thunderball and YOLT too but I figured it would be stupid of me to get colours that I wouldn't wear simply because they happened to feature Sean Connery as Mr. Bond. I'm so proud of myself. Oh yes!

I guess if one of my first packages would have been picked out for the import taxes than I wouldn't order large packages either. The polishes were described as a gift btw.
I got TLD, TSWLM, OHMSS, TWINE, L&LD, TND and TMWTGG. I think the gold one is actually called Goldeneye instead of Goldfinger, but Goldfinger would have been more appropriate. Also I don't think there is a polish called Thunderball. I've never seen the old James Bond films I believe. I guess I should watch those. There are also three magnetic polishes and one is called Bond, James Bond and I actually want that one for the name:p Have you tried any of the polishes yet? I have a hard time deciding which one I will wear first
I think TSWLM with TMWTGG. I was actually really suprized how lovely TSWLM looked in the bottle. It's such a pretty red with tiny golden glitters

the world is not enough, live and let die, on her majesty's.., the spy who loved me and i may also get skyfall and die another day. im sad that there's no octopussy. she is definitely a classic bond girl especially from the roger moore era. i agree with the song i kind of feel like they cheated by adding the bond theme song in the mix.

Oooops! You're right :)
But of course Goldfinger would have been better because it had Sean Connery! Do you hear OPI? Sort out your act!
re: Thunderball - that was wishful thinking on my part. teehee.
I wore OHMSS last week. I think I did coats. It's a very complex colour and I enjoyed wearing it but I thought I'd love it even more. I was hoping for more blue in it (I think Zoya's FeiFei has a smidgen more blue). I'm going to layer it over a navy base next time I wear it. I haven't worn the others yet. You have a really nice haul there, I can't blame you for having a hard time choosing.
re: package declaration - when it's a gift you can go up to EUR45. Yay!
