It's available on Nordstrom now so I grabbed the brunette gel since it's sold out at Mac.  I can't wait to pick it up after work

I'm definitely no eyebrow expert, but I'm interested in deep dark brunette! I just have no idea how to apply it, is the 208 the right brush for this product? Or should I just try to do my eyebrows with something different and leave this product for those who actually know what they're doing ?😶

I would say it is pretty easy.  You need a 208 brush (perfect because the brush hairs are firm and shorter than the 263 or 266).  You only need a very small amount of product to fill in and define your brows, I would say go for it while it is still available.

iagree.gif The 208 and fluidline is the perfect combo. You won't regret it

thanks for your response! I will definitely give it a try and hope I like it as much as everyone else! I have the 266 brush but you said the 208 would be much better so ill definitely pick that up as well! smiles.gif

I'm interested in the Dirty Blonde fluidline, but I'm afraid it could be a bit too dark. It matches Lingering eyebrow pencil looking at Erine's swatches, but I use Fling. Any input on this?

I just ordered the DDB Fluidline. I hope I like it.

If your hair is the colour of your avatar, I'd go with the DB.

I might just get both Dirty Blonde and Deep Dark Brunette since I won't get to swatch in person and I'm not sure if it will arrive in our locals counters. I'm also trying to wait for Nars Spring if I could so I can save on international shipping, so I hope the fluidlines won't run out too fast.

The brow fluidlines are limited edition right? My brows are the only thing i do everyday and if its limited edition im not even going to try those out.

I already have brun so i b2m for coquette and i love it. I put them in my duo palette so it looks just like how mac is selling this duo lmao

I'm lookin' at the NARS spring eyeshadow duo Bouthan ("soft pink tulle and bright pink with gold shimmer"). I don't know what's gotten into me lately - i now have quite a few pink eyeshadows.

My order of Dirty Blonde Fluidline Brow should arrive tomorrow. Now i don't have to worry about racing down early to my local MAC that only got THREE (+ the tester) !!! I didn't order the new pencils since they are permanent so i can take my time about getting one.

Also in my black box are Invincible Light (pink, lavender, off-white, and copper-gold swirls) from the Heavenly Creature collection last summer, and Catch My Eye Fluidline (sparkly taupe) from Glamourdaze. I want to find out how that looks in my brows...

Question.. I bought the DDB brow gel creme fluidline and I'm in love!! I (stupidly) only bought one and of courses ended up liking it more than I thought. My local MAC store is only getting a small amount of stock and I imagine it will probably be all gone by the time I get off class tomorrow. Do you ladies think that once I run out of the gel creme in DDB i could use dip down fluid line on my brows instead?? I have heard of a lot of people using dip down to do their brows with. Any input would be great, thanks! pretty.gif

So I read sa post on here that said that if your hair is dark, your brows should be a shade lighter right? Problem is there's not a lot of options with the gel cremes and I really want to try one. I was thinking of getting deep dark brunette but I'm worried it might to be dark ssad.gif & the blonde color is way too light.. Can you build this product up? I want a more natural brow , "dramatic" eyebrows are nice but I'm new to this whole thing.

Yes it is thanks I'll definitely check it out!

Called my counter yesterday to get DB set aside -- she told me they got TWO of each shade. Unbelievable.

I'm not even sure it will work for me because I need to do a lot of filling.

Depending on the look you're going for, there's a couple different ways to do it.

More natural- do individual, light strokes in an upward and out motion (or down and out, depending on the growth direction) throughout the length of your brow. Follow thru with a spoolie to soften the look and blend.

Carved-apply the gel along the entire bottom edge of your brow. Then repeat the steps above for a natural brow. Carefully clean up under the brow with concealer if needed to erase any stray lines.

heart.gif your comments, so please don't hold back, altho I have been known to be a bit snarky meself.  I appreciate the brow tips though, as I was wondering how to use the fluidline.  I got the one in Dirty Blonde & the veluxe brow pencil in brunette...as I am curious about the "powdery" finish on that and I like a pencil for when I am in a hurry or a fast touch up.

great! thank you!  Miraculously there was ONE DDB left at my MAC store when I got off school today, so I snatched it up! Would've liked another back up but I'm thankful I was able to get one. My new favorite brow product for sure!!

I think I will try to go to my counter tomorrow to swatch Dirty Blonde fluidline.  I hope they don't run out! th_MadWithShortFuse.gif

DDB Fluidline is sold out again on MAC's U.S. site. Mine should be here by Saturday. Fingers crossed I like it. I've never tried anything on my brows other than a pencil or shadow.
