This is the collection with Pink Pigeon and Party Parrot and Firm Form. There's also a matte violet lipstick that my MA said was like Heroine and one other color (if I recall correctly, it's a med. blue pink, but I'm not 100% sure).

 

There are 2 quads, each with 3 new colors and one repromote. One is neutral with pale white, grey, taupe and the warm black, which is a repro called Black Magique. The other quad is a variety of lavenders and purples, including a repro of Heather Belles (from Tartan Tales).

 

There are 2 blushes, one called Taupe Shape, described as "satiny taupe", with a Satin finish, and another that's a soft "pinkish brown".

 

I didn't want to just copy out of the book, out of respect for my MA, so no full color story, but this one definitely is a winner and you are all going to bug the hell out at that promo image!

they seem a lot chunkier than a regular lipstick..not sure I like that :)

I actually sort mine into heavy-duty freezer baggies by colour family. I need to find a way to store them so that the labels don't get rubbed away, but I haven't figured that out yet. The Montreal chapter of LA is now started...

This collection has me pumped!! maybe its the name 'strength' that has me ready to pump lipstick iron 

Im not even going to pretend, matte lipsticks no matter what the colours = mine! I cant resist a matte lipstick at all, I prefer these to mattenes

black lipstick too = mine

Do we know the finish on the black?

if only quick sizzle would be part of these upcoming collections.. *wishful thinking*

And I would not be suprised if it was repromoted on day.

I am assuming (and wishfully thinking) that Quick Sizzle will be one of their faster repromotes. That was my very first bright lipstick, and I love it and want a BU badly!

Buying it and forcing myself to brave the brightness and try it really opened up a whole new world to me in terms of lipsticks.

My list so far:

2 Pink Pigeon

1 Party Parrot (I googled images and it looks a similar to Force of Love which I own)

1 Strong Woman (depends on swatches)

Seems like solid decision making to me.  Then again, I prolly need Lipstick Anonymous too.  I could never use all I have, even if I had 50 more sets of lips.

I adore Q.S, it's the perfect color! 

 

I'm ready for it to get repromoted and the frenzy that would come with it..  lol

i'm definitely getting party parrot. i was considering paying $50 for it on evil bay, but i took so long to decide that it got sold. lol. maybe strong woman as well depending on the swatches. but i love purple, i'll probably succumb to it anyway.

Indeed, and smacks Uggie, the dog that starred in The Artist :) I laughed quite a lot, watching that film. I didn't have high expectations when I went to see it, but it was all good silly fun!

I think you can still get qucik sizzle on ACW.com. I haven't checked in a while though.

On my lips they look exactly the same. I prefer Pink Pigeon, probably mostly because of the scent. Nars lipsticks somehow smell less good to me. I posted swatch comparisons of Pink Pigeon, Schiap, Quick Sizzle and Carthage (Nars) in the shop shop shop thread. I added them here below. In the pictures there seems a small difference in PP and Schiap. IRL they are twins on my lips (and on my hand too). Perhaps Pink Pigeon is the teeniest more matte. Otherwise I wouldn't know any difference between the two.

Pink Pigeon, Schiap, Quick Sizzle.

Nars Carthage (above), Pink Pigeon, Schiap and Quick Sizzle (below).

I got Candy Yum Yum the other day and it is definately brighter on me than Pink Pigeon.
