Florida, Tampa to be exact. MAC store at Internatinal Mall. I'm glad they did call me back to let me know they released it and I was able to swing by and pick up what I wanted. They have some awesom MA's there, always fun to go.

Ah, the youth of today...
Jughead in Archie comix wears a beanie, as do stereotypes of nerds in some advertisements, especially beanies with propellers. Beanies are actually felt caps that are just rounded to fit the dome of the head, often but not always with a turned up brim, sometimes crenellated or chevroned.
But for some reason for about the past 15+ years, people have been calling knit watch caps and other knit caps "beanies".
Here are some classic beanies, as opposed to knit caps:
a REAL beanie from the 1950s
an Archie comix fan-boy beanie from a couple score years ago.
A modern-day joke geek beanie with a propeller
Engineers were sometimes called "propeller heads" long ago, and the name was passed along to computer geeks in the 80s.
This is no doubt TMI, but at least it's safe TMI
I was wearing the last one :/ lol jk
Now after all that I don't know what to call my "beanie"
Lol aha

I agree!

So, as an FYI, I called my Mac freestanding store and was again told 1/3. However the sales person said they had the collection in and would hold items for me until 1/3. I mentioned to her that some stores have already released, but she said they had not been told to yet. Anyhow, an hour later she calls me back and said they are releasing it now! Go figure.
Like i said before. DUMBASSES! 😡

Thank you so much! I take the pictures myself. No tripod just keep clicking away until i feel satisfied. Lol i really dont know what im doing. never took photography classes so im still playing around with the settings
OT:
The BB cream has the perfect amount of coverage I've been longing for! It may not be enough coverage for everyone or meet everyone's needs but it's exactly what I had conjured in my head of a perfect lightweight, SPF, non cakey coverage. I love it & I've been wearing it every time I go out, no matter if I'm wearing MU everywhere else or not. It is very rare for me to wear powders, TM and/or foundation (liquid or powder) on a regular basis. I would not order this product from MAC on line, even after reading the reviews on MAC's website & discussing the colors/advice that fellow Specktra members are giving (please don't take this personally, as I have funky skin color changing issues, etc., the suggestions just didn't match up), even the MAC live chat people told me what to try (I later found their suggestions didn't work for my situation either.) & I figured I would just go to a counter or store & actually try it on. The first color did not look right at all, so I think he went lighter on the other half of my face. At first, I was so disgusted, it looked horrible! Until it completely dried!!! After it dries, it looks lovely & leaves the skin looking even in color & it's overall a perfect product for me right now. I hope you all give it a try and post your feelings about it & experiences with it. I usually use a brush to apply stuff like this, but I've been having to do a lot of rushing, so I've been using my fingers & it turns out just beautiful after it dries. I don't know why it looks odd when it's not dry but a minute or so later you look in the mirror & viola, beautiful skin! For me, I know I'll wear it for day & night.

How am I going to decide what to wear between Strong Woman & Night Blooming? I used to only wear red LSs, as its such a diverse beautiful color,THEN I MET FOXY MOXIE & she blew me into a whole 'nother section of the color wheel! I can't even tell you how many bold & bright pinks I've acquired over the last year & a half. I'm so glad I finally found some purples that take my breath away (not to mention Unconventional blush {the darker blush from TT}. Night Blooming is just to die for & now we have Strong Woman. At the last min. I ordered an extra SW & have yet to get my goodies.
i offered up doing CPs for people, & fortunately I was able to get the 2 blushes for a lovely young lady overseas. So, I went today to the 1 MAC Store in this city that had Strength, I tried on everything from Strength. When I tried SW on, I was floored because looking at those Instagram photos from a couple of weeks ago on this thread, I thought this is NOT going to look good on me! I was so wrong! I love it, so I bought one at the store so I could wear it this weekend in case my package doesn't make it here tomorrow, that's missed opportunities to wear SW & I'm so glad I have a couple of BUs of it now since I scored one of the last ones they had at the MAC store today. ** PLEASE HELP: Besides Heroine (HTF & super overly priced) & Violetta (did not look good on me). What other crazy beautiful purples am I missing? They do NOT need to be from MAC. I'm just dying to know what other purple LSs are out there that work on NC20ish skin tones. Please help, I've got to pick up the slack of missing beautiful purples. Suggestions greatly appreciated, oh knowledgeably Specktraettes!
I'm sure I have an unnecessary amount PiPis, PaPas, Ab Pow & as for Firm Form (I don't think I'll ever wear it) coming my way in the mail
...I've got some selling to do.I wore Ab Power after trying it on it the store, it certainly wasn't going anywhere
As the night went on & after dinner, it wore down to a bright, hot pink stain that is pretty freaking hot. Lot's of pink in Ab Power, but I'm okay with that...more than I expected tho!Can anyone help me out by doing a pretty big favor. Even if you could only do 1 of these requests, it would be beyond helpful. if someone can swatch & post this comparison on NC20ish skin, it would be greatly appreciate. But I'll really take any skin or paper comparisons:
Swatches of AP to Love G-dess, & anything else that may loosely tie into that color strand.
Swatches of SW, Sed Intent & the infamous Heroine, & anything else that may loosely tie into that color strand.
I know there was a swatch with a whole bunch of bright pinks. Can anyone do...
Swatches of PiPi next to PaPa
Swatches of PiPi, Moxie, Lickable, Show Orchid, CYY & anything else that may loosely tie into that color strand. I don't even know what colors might fit in here??
PaPa, Fusion Pink, Love G-dess...I don't even know what colors might fit in here???
So many lippies, so little time it's crazy fun. TIA if you can do any swatches for us! I know there are other people that would really be thankful for the swatches & comparisons.
I'm going to sell a few of my Strength LSs & a couple Après Chic ones too. Because there are some things I tried that did not work.
I'll have extras of Strength & Après Chic LSs & Porcelain Pink to sell if anyone is interested, PM me.
I think PaPa is pretty but I was hoping for a little more red. I tried it on at MAC with Beet & that was better, but I don't feel like I've found the right combo for it yet...would love suggestions & PiPi I am not sure about...I'm going to have to try it again in regular lighting. I'm super curious what LL you all are using to make PaPa a little darker & more red. PiPi, I'm not quite sure if it's a fit for me. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Is the new brush ( don't know the #) LE or perm.. Is it worth getting it? What is supposed to be it's main function? What have you all been using it for! It's the this DuoFiber eye brush.
The blushes are so beautiful, light, with the perfect amount of pigmentation. Team all blushes right here! Anyone else on this team?
I was going to go on a no buy after these 2 collx, but I have been loving doing my eyebrows lately. So I can't possibly go on my No Buy now! Can I??? know I'll probably buy 1 or 2 things when it launches in stores.
Hope everyone is well, having a good weekend & got what they wanted/needed.
Here's to MAC for putting out some beautiful, different LSs & blushes!!! Very happy about what they've been bringing to the table!
TIA!

My freestanding store called me this morning, having set aside some lippies for me. While I was there I picked up the blushes, too. So if anyone needs CPs, let me know.
I have the following: Pink Pigeon (2), Party Parrot (3), Absolute Power (2), Strong Woman (1 available now; 1 more coming in standard delivery order next week, along with 2 Firm Form), Taupe Shape (2) and Poised (2).
Edited: Now have 1 each of Taupe Shape and Poised blushes.
Edited: now have one Poised blush, 2 Pink Pigeon, 3 Party Parrot, 1 Absolute Power; won't have Strong Woman (1) and Firm Form (2) until Thu/Fri.

I originally had Strong Woman and Absolute Power on hold at the MAC Pro on Lincoln Rd South Beach( they still have quite a bit of these lippies ladies). However I thought that Absolute Power was way to similar to Ruby Woo. Thing is I only got Ruby Woo for the first time last month. If I didn't have it I would have gotten Absolute Power.

I got 2 of my lippies today. And one of someone else's. it had my address on the outside, and their packing slip on the inside. I thought about calling MAC, but then I thought the other person might never get their lipstick if I do that, and I have their address and phone number, so I just called them and told them I'd send it along to them. I thought about how sad I'd be I someone else got mine. Gotta build up the makeup karma, lol. I LOVE PaPa!!!
Beautiful

Love, love, love it!
I also really like What Joy from the G & I collection
I looked at them, was tempted but backed off because I recently purchased several Butter London & Chanel N/Ps. In other words, I didn't deserve it!

I WANT EVRYONE TO KNOW I AM OFFICIALLY IN LOVE WITH STRONG WOMAN, NIGHT BLOOMING TAUPE SHAPE, POISED & MAC's NEW BB CREAM!
OT:

Thanks for the great review on MAC's BB cream. I'll definitely go for it onsite and not online to get the best match and to ensure that it's the right product for me. I have used others with reasonable results.

I've used the SE form of this brush which was released with the G & I collx, and I loved & then lost it. I was sick about that because I used that brush everyday. I replaced it when I purchased a set of brushes in the MAC Illustrated collx, and was thrilled to now see the full-size version...I purchased two. Great brush for packing on product and the size was just right for the size of my lids.

Got my package today!!
So exciting I got Stereo Rose, Cozy up, Party Parrot and the new mascara!
So far I'm not really feelin SR, I thought it would be a little bit more darker than what it swatches on my skin
and It doesn't even have a ton of gold veining...I'm gonna keep working with it though. (I'm NC45 by the way)
Cozy up is gorgeous! the best nude I've came across from Mac, its definitely gonna replace my yash and fresh brew. I definitely want to order a back up of this (maybe 2
)
Party Parrot is hands down my new favorite lipstick it is gorgeous! I'm kickin myself for not ordering a back up but I'm thankful that I at least got one so if anyone wants to get rid of theirs please let me know!
Enjoy CarmenK!!! Glad you're giving SR a chance...using the right brush can also help. I've had good results with the 130. It's great for picking up & blending product.

My daughter (11) likes to walk around and swatch stuff, smell perfumes, talk to the MUA/ SA & then they ask her about her gymnastics so she does backbends for them in the store lol She definitely tells me when she's ready to go- though, I can't say I blame her because I could stay in a makeup store all day long!
