I'm saving FF for NYE! I have not decided on an eye look yet.

I hunted down Taupe Shape.  I must say that it seems much more "user friendly" in my novice hands than Notorious.  I didn't have the blending issues with TS that I had with Notorious.  Still trying to make Notorious work though.

Now I need to resist the quads from this collection.  I already have ever UD Naked palette, so I really do not need to buy another neutral shadow for a long time.

Love Strong Woman and AP from this collection too.  SW is much more wearable for me than Heroine.

I love your lipstick case. I'll need to revamp my setup in 2013--sooner than later...in addition to the lippies from Apres Chic & Strength, I just got two new Chanel lippies!  See ya at the soup kitchen partner!

it's my fave too!  Hopefully we'll find it.  if it comes out, or I see it in a CCO, I'll pick one up for you.  :-)

They look so amazing.  We're snowed in today so I think I'll play in my products PaPa, FF, SW & AP!   cheerleader.gif

they all look gorgeous on you.  Especially PP.   Let me know if you figure out the dupe for HA.  I know I have something like it.  I just haven't figured out what yet.

Mid-tone dirty mauve/taupe with a light application for me - then with an extra layer, it turned into the perfect replica of my 90's Poppy King lipstick - 100% taupe, the definition of 90's taupe. It's reminding me of every darn office cubicle, carpet color, and business lady gear from that era. Oh the nostalgia! I had a Poppy King matte that looked exactly like Cozy Up too, so I'm having double nostalgia tingles.

I stuck a little of the pale pink Mineralize balm on top and it totally erased the brown cast and brought it into the rose taupe zone, which is even nicer. And because those balms blot down so well, I was able to bring it back down to a satin finish effect while still keeping the lightening from the balm. Wow, I'm having a next level makeup experience here thud.gifI don't usually get this worked up. :P

loving the balms!

Whatever the reason for all of the confusion surrounding the release date, it was nice that she called you back and didn't just leave you hanging /waiting.   flower.gif

LOL   I used the lip balm nice and simple.  But I'm sure any sheer gold color will do the same trick.

Taupe Shape is much more cool toned, it doesn't have the warm undertones of Pressed Amber. It will probably not show up on skintones darker than NC35, if it does, it will look very shimmery. I can't remember who said it but it looked ashy on her skin.

I totally agree. TS is much cooler.

I'm not sure why T compared TS somehow to Equilibrium or Pressed Amber. th_crazy2.gif They don't look anything alike as they are not in the same color family. At all! TS is cool-toned and E and PA are rather warm.

I love T for her swatches, but I don't often agree with her comparisons.  Also I find her swatch gallery color categories a bit mismatched.

She probably couldn't think of anything else to compare it to hehe. Cool-toned contour blushes are a bit of a rare commodity (at least I can't seem to find any). I'm very happy that TS will join my collection but I'm still on the lookout for a taupe contour shade sans shimmer. I'm seriously considering buying Fashion Fix PLW e/s to use for contouring. Whether or not it's a good idea is another story lol.gif

I think so too and I also think that she expected people to ask how those would compare to TS. I'm curious to see how TS will work out as a contour on me.

Sculpt the best cool-toned taupe contour shade :-)

I like Bone Beige for daytime, Sculpt for a more dramatic day or evening, and Shadowy for a dramatic contour.

Has anyone NC40 or darker tried Poised??  I am wondering if it will show up on me...forgot to swatch them in the store when I went..

You could always do a neutral bronze smokey eye and add some gold shimmer or gold glitter on top (Gilt by Association, or the MAC Pro Gold Glitter)...I was thinking of doing this for NYE as well! This look looks especially well with a red lip or any other bright lip :)

Here's me last night with Party Parrot with Candy-Yum-Yum on the center with a clear gloss on top. Giving you Manila Luzon realness -- LOL.

Someone gifted me the CR 'Jungle' kit and the eyeshadow quad is my absolute favorite go-to for a smokey eye.  Love it!
