I was really excited when I saw this collections colour story first come out, and had all the lippys except Party Parrot (already have it and used up all my pink pigeon so time for number 2 now) and both blushes on my list... first time in a long time that my list has stayed the same on a collection

So far my list has not changed for this collection.  Strong Woman and maybe Firm Form.  Not complaining about the small haul this time around.

Tx for the info lovesongx! I would buy from any brand that has beautiful colors & products. I own some Maybelline lippies and they are amazing. If that purple is part of it. I'll be picking it up.

I would think with the lovely mattene formula, if they are really dupes, unless the finish is spectacular on Strong Woman, I'd get two Seductive Intent lippies.  Then again, why not one of each and have different formulae to work with depending on the finish you want???  The neonish looking red pink has sparked my interest where it wasn't there before...hmmmm

I'm thinking if I should just back up Seductive Intent or get Strong Woman? I absolutely love the mattene formula but I also like mattes as well. If the colors are too similar then maybe getting Strong Woman would be a better value since mattene's come with less product compared to the regular lipstick. What to do?

I'd definitely love to see side-by-side swatches of Strong Woman and Seductive Intent.  I'll probably wait to make any solid decisions until after that!

Do you ladies know when this is suppose to hit the MAC website? I have been calling my closest local MAC for days to preorder. No one EVER answers the phone.

I believe on December 26th, but I am praying it will be online much earlier. I would love to have my makeup in time for Christmas. Maybe it will be online around the 19th of December instead. Fingers crossed.

It'll probably be online a week before, so yeah, the 19th sounds about right.

Does anyone know when Strength will be out in the UK? I'm in London from dec 31st to jan 4th, so maybe I can check it out there. I have the same question for Apres Chic actually.

AC should be in January, but Strength in February only :(

This is still a MAC exclusive only right?

Apparently not since a lot of counters have said they'll be getting it January 3rd.

Yay - just heard from my MA, they'll have Taste Temptations, couture and 2 other collections for me to check out in the back room tomorrow. I HOPE one is Strength. I figure one will be the Pressed Pigments, but maybe Apres Chic?

My #1 thing to check in Apres Chic will be the moisturizing power of those Mineralize lip balms. If they're as good as the old Clarins I used to use, I'll be loading up!

Anything in particular you'd want to know about any of the collections? I'll make sure to check.

Well, I'm mainly interested in the MES and MBs. So I'd like to know about the pigmentation of the MBs and color descriptions of how the MES swatch. And isn't there a new eye brush? I'd love to know what you think of it if you have the time to check that one out, too.

Anyone else want to know anything specific, just post here.....I'm doubting I can get a decent photo of anything, but other than that, I can certainly bring in some similar products to see if there are any dupes (if I have 'em).

I forgot all about the pressed pigment collection.

Well, as i posted in another board here on Specktra, the SA at my local MAC who really  enables  helps me, just called and told me the shop has Après Chic and Strength in for testing in the back room... and i'm still out of town. She said they got 20 of some items, but only 6 of others (i don't know which or from which collections) and she's expecting many things to sell out FASSST!

She was kind enough to hold things for me - i'll be home this weekend to pick them up.

From this collection i am for sure getting Firm Form lipstick and Taupe Shape blush. Just in case i love them too, I also asked her to hold Strong Woman lipstick (have to see how close it is to Seductive Intent - and if it's too fuchsia, it's a pass) and Poised blush (if it's similar to Pink Cult & Pink Tea, i may pass). But i don't want to miss my chance and find they're all sold out in pre-sales.

Other than the 2 for-sures and the 2 maybes, that's it for me out of the 18 items in this collection.

I wasn't a big Amy Winehouse fan until i heard her singing a duet with Tony Bennett. He's not my favorite old jazz crooner, but he's got chops for such an old guy. And she was absolutely amazing - she really had fantastic jazz styling. Such a waste of potential. Sorry she was so unhappy.

From what I understand, some are getting it and others aren't. It'd be best for you to call and ask.
