Right now I have Night Blooming, Seductive Intent, Perky, and Revenge is Sweet in my cart... Kinda waffling on Passionately Tempted... Kinda waffling on all of them tbh o_o

Let me just go check Apres Chic and Strength before I get crazy here lol.

I was busy writing a paper and something possessed me to check up on this thread.  Thank goodness for procrastination!

I got RiS x2 and Nocturnal Instincts.  Now I have to stay away until Strength and Apres Chic or I will be eating ramen and only ramen.  I am secretly hoping that Apres Chic will be hideous .  I did cut way back on this haul though.

The lip swatch here makes me want Night Blooming! I can see a violet sheen to it. Now I might have to get it after all. Decisions decisions!

My money's also on Seductive Intent because those peeps who missed out on Heroine will probably snap it up. However I wouldn't be surprised if Nocturnal Instincts were to go first because it's unlike anything MAC released recently.

 

Whatever happens, I hope everyone is able to get what they want from this collection

As much as I'd like to grab those mattenes now, I think I'll have to wait. I haven't been getting as much hours as I'd like at Macys, and I have a credit card to pay off. Maybe once they release on the 13th, I can get them at work. (I might even get to use my employee discount, but I have a feeling that they won't let me. I need to ask next time I go in.)

I think if I buy Seductive Intent, I'll sell my extra Heroine. I don't think I need 3 purple lipsticks that are practically the same shade

Oh dear - I'm contemplating asking for a CP for the mattenes! I've never had a purple lippie before but I kind of want all 3 :/

Purple lipsticks are great^ you need one in your life

 

 

Now that you've seen the error of your ways the TT mattenes would be a good place to start. They're not intimidatingly purple like, say, Goes and Goes PLW and Illamasqua Kontrol. Give 'em a chance!

Wow it's a good thing I decided to sit down and check Specktra while I had my coffee this morning!!  I was planning on starting my online stalking tonight, so thanks for the heads up that it was available way early!  I placed my order for Seductive Intent, Night Blooming, Passionately Tempted, Perky, and Revenge is Sweet (even though I was going back and forth on that last one since swatches didn't thrill me, but it just looked so pretty in the tube, lol). 

 

I've decided I really need to stop placing orders online.  I'm one of those people who will buy three times more product than I originally planned on getting JUST so I can get the free shipping.  So I think I'll have to take the time to go down to the store for the next collections (hello, Apres Chic and Strength), where I can just buy the limited edition things I want without adding tons of other products to my purchase. 

 

Of course, if my MAC store isn't going to do preorders or holds for a collection that I'm in love with (and therefore would be totally bummed out if they sold out before I got there), then I might be persuaded to go back to ordering online... 

 

Hope everyone gets what they want from this collection!

I'm wondering how close SI is to Seasoned Plum I think it was from the Daphne Guinness Collection (sp?) for that same reason....I don't know how many shades of purple lipsticks I need. But I'd probably take you up on that offer to sell your Heroine if you decide to do that lol

We don't have that offer in Canada.

I have both Seasoned Plum and Heroine and I don't find the two to be comparable in the slightest. Seasoned Plum is very subdued and dusty compared to Heroine.

 

If SI is indeed close to Heroine, I don't think it will be at all similar to SP.

Yep from swatches its very close to Heroine. I'm a sucker for mattenes so I prefer them over regular lipsticks because the packaging is so slim. Depending on your skin tone, SI might show up just pink on you. I've seen it show straight up pink on some people.


They're not similar at all. I have to wait for the SI To come in to compare them myself. I've been jinxed with this collection so I'm crossing my fingers!!

I decided to skip the quad b/c I have the blue quad from Shop/Cook and don't really wear blue shadows.  I don't even care about not seeing this one in person.

Looks like a lot of ppl skipped this one, or got them early...   I couldn't cancel my first order, so I will have FOUR RIS. LOL   they are sending me a shipping label so I can send it back free of charge.

...blue quad? There weren't any blue shades in that collection. Perhaps you're thinking of Fall Colour?
