Ice looks exactly like Light Touch pressed pigment, just without the glitter, so if you have that one already, you may not really need Ice. 

 

Frost at Midnight would look beautiful on you for sure - maybe the best color for you out of all of them.

 

As for Silver Birch, did you look good in Dalliance mega-metal? Silver Birch is like Dalliance, but with a darker underbase that the Dalliance-like color sort of sits on top of. I didn't look that great in Dalliance (too yellowish), but Silver Birch looks fantastic, so that'd be a good guide as to whether it'd be a good color for you, I hope.

The MES are stunning

 

 

I don't have Light Touch, so I'm definitely getting Ice. I guess I can wear it as a cheek highlighter too.

 

I will look at Frost at Midnight, thanks for suggesting it. I'm waiting for more swatches to make my final decision.

I do have Dalliance, but I'm one of the very few people who didn't like the MM formula, so I never really wore it. I think I'll play with it again to see how I like it on me.

Is SB similar to Cloudy Afternoon in any way? (which is my favourite e/s ever)

Ice would be pretty sparkly for a face highlighter, FYI - it's the most sparkly of the MES in this collection - just micro-sparkle, not chunky or glittery.

 

I didn't like the light colored MMs much - they highlighted my eye texture too much. The darker ones I love though. Noir Plum is so great, I haven't really bought any other purple shadows since.

 

i didn't buy Cloudy Afternoon - it was a little too powdery and gave my darker eye skin a sallow cast, like most pale khaki colors do. That's why I couldn't wear Dalliance either. Meanwhile, SB is in the same family, but doesn't cause me to look sallow, and it's SO SO SO smooth and wet metallic when applied with a damp brush - like a mirror finish practically. If you wish Cloudy Afternoon could have a finish like that, or if you wished it had just a little less beige color in it, you are going to loose your mind over SB. Do I sound over-excited? Because, I am!!!!

 

That sounds great! You're definitely making me more excited for it as well. 

 

I didn't know Ice was the most sparkly one, so thanks for mentioning it! No cheek highlighter then, but I still want it.

....I am sooooo excited for SB!!!

Me too.  Unfortunately, I think Ice is the only one I don't need...

I will be strong and will only get Fireside,Silver Birch and Frost at Midnight.

 

I am afraid that WP might be too warm for me and if Ice looks like Light Touch,I will stick to this one because

I really love the PPs.LT is very pretty!

 

I actually love Dalliance (although I haven't worn it as much recently, I wore it every other day for months after it launched) AND Cloudy Afternoon. So I'm thinking SB is a bit of a no-brainer for me. Luckily, I don't have a lot of items on my wish list for this collection. I already have Stereo Rose, or else I'd be elbowing people out of the way to get it. Porcelain Pink looks nice, but I believe it's extremely close to By Candlelight, which I already have.

 

Speaking of MM shadows, I'm wearing Unflappable today. Probably the one I've used the most, because it just goes with so many different looks!

Can anyone who has seen the collection please tell me what color the model in the promo pic is wearing on her lids? TIA

Think i'll be just getting the skin finishes. The eyeshadows does'nt reall wow me.

Went to the pro store in Dallas and got:
silver birch mes
frost at midnight mes
night trail el
apres chic ls

also got party parrot and pink pigeon

the only thing they sold out of is firm form ls everything else is still available.
decided to skip stereo rose again...i think its just too metallic

You're welcome! I love being able to help y'all out. I knew I was going to want both of those lipsticks, and they didn't disappoint. Cozy Up is everything I wanted Salute from Hey Sailor to be, and it has the new matte lipstick formula that everybody has been loving at MAC lately. Its opaque, matte finish allows for some more versatility when it comes to where/how you want to wear it. Apres Chic definitely has a little bit of brown in its base, but it reads like a brighter brick red. They're both gorgeous! 

 

I would guess that the eyeshadow she's wearing is a combination of Winter Pursuit on the lid and then Fireside (or whatever the one that's got a brown/green duochrome going on) flared out in the crease/outer eye. The model's picture is really what sold this collection me since the look is bomb. 

i want to go to the mall, but im afraid this is going to come out and then sell out.

yeah im not trying to go to the stores and be disappointed. I saw lots of sad and angry faces when the marilyn monroe collection came out.

i hope that's the case.
