I chose the colors that looked pretty in the tube due to the non color pay off. I like the coral looking one too but passes as I have so many lippies that color. Oh!the deeper plum shade did yield a slight tint....

Upon the urging of Prettypackages, I only purchased one MLB, Nice & Simple and I love it.  It's a bronzy gold that complements my nudes.  I've worn it with Warm Companion and other light shades. It's also provides a pretty wash of color on its own.

I consider Hot Chocolate and Double Shot to fall into that "safe" range, along with warm pinks and pinky peaches. I don't wear red, orange, or bright/hot pink in any circumstance, because i look terrible in them.

But i know many people have to conform to some standards in their place of work, where safe or "normal" colors are de rigueur. So, i say, crack out the fun colors when you're not there!

Great advice!  Thank you lilinah.  I've even added purples to my stash--getting pretty wild lmao.gif

It evens out my skin without looking like I'm wearing powder. It doesn't crease up if I apply it under the eyes, either. The Careblend bronzer from a couple years ago was amazing too - I really hope MAC does something about bringing those back and just generally keeping Careblend's profile high. Discontinuing the MCLPs has gotten me all worried about Careblend now.

I'm not much of a concealer person, but I am very happy with the Mineralize one. It's the only one moist enough to not crease or bunch up under my eyes and it does a good job of concealing everything I need (although I don't mind a few freckles, I do have a couple of age spots near my eyes I like to erase). The other good thing about it is it has caffeine in it, so it depuffs me. Combining it with P&P Vibrancy Eye gives serious depuff-o-rama.

I do think Amber Glow is a particularly great blush for the no makeup look for me - wearing it, I really don't need to bother with a full face of powder. Just a little of it takes my face to the next level. I've never backed up a blush in my life, but I'm actually considering it for AG and maybe Alpine Bronze. If you took away all my other blushes and left me AG, I'd be ok with it.

I may try Careblend too.  I tried Studio Fix Powder + Foundation and it was awful---rather I think I'm the problem, not the product.  It just seems to require a good bit of tweaking to get it right on me, and I'm not too fond of a matte powder look.  I went from Face & Body (the ocean) to Studio Fix Powder + Foundation (the desert) when I really wanted something in between.

Try Studio Sculpt + Sheer Mystery Powder. This will give you a very natural look, but not overly dewy.

It's kinda inspired by the promo image. I love it! It's a very natural look (for me at least) with some warmth to it.

I'm also wearing the BB cream and I think I really like it. It's very light coverage and I have problems most of the time with light coverage stuff, because they always seem more watery or oilier or something and don't work with my oily skin. The BB cream doesn't have that problem yay! I use a bit of Studio Finish concealer to cover some red spots and set it with MSFN.

I've also used Amber Glow a couple of times already and it's a very nice natural blush with a glow to it. It has a slight peach tint to it without having too much colour to it which I sometimes want for bolder eyes/lips.

The look sounds really very nice!

Are you in Germany? My MIL was born in Stuttgart and bore dual citizenship between Germany and the US. It's pretty cool that she had both.

The whole combination of products looks great.  Was Obscura one of the GP pigments?

Silly me, missed the link.  I skipped because of the negative reviews on the Metal X products.  Me and cream e/s products usually don't get along, Paint pots and Fluidlines being a rare exception.  My wrinkly eyelids just create creases and I end up looking like the cryptkeeper...

I also was not a big fan of x-metals e/e and the like for, the same reason as you are, but in the outer corner Obscura presents itself extremely well.

Well, there would be less creasing issues there for me, good point.  If I find one at the CCO or ACW, I may have to get that puppy.  In the meantime, I think I have something similar from MUFE acutally...

I'm probably in the minority here... but I'm not a huge fan of Stereo rose :( this is my first time owning  one, I ordered one because of all the hype surrounding it and I think it's just OK. Bummer!
