Makeupalley is mostly just for swapping. You aren't allowed to sell anything. I've swapped a lot of my unused makeup for things I would use. You also don't need to write any post to be allowed to swap

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe newbies can't swap on MUA anymore. I read that one of the boards not that long ago.

I actually haven't swapped in a few months so I'm not sure. Maybe things have changed since then?

 well that sucks lol. I'm not even a newbie on this site I just don't post normally. Too bad after a certain amount of time you can't just qualify.

I'm wearing Apres Chic for the first time today. All credit goes to the wonderful Yazmin, who bought it for me when it was restocked on the US website

 

Such a gorgeous, wearable red!  It's definitely a close relative of Fire Sign, which I also love.

Just tell me it doesn't go pink on you, I have one on the way and if it does I am gonna be gutted.  I was hoping the "brick" pigment in there would keep that from happening but my lips have a lot of natural pink in them so I may have to start cancelling that out to make these lippies stop amping up the pink on my pucker...

 

Nope, no pink whatsoever on me. I was worried about that too, which is why I skipped it initially. I couldn't find a good enough lip liner match in my stash so I used NYX Cabernet and blended it out a bit. Worked a treat!

No pink for me either! I love the color so much I bought a BU. I use NYX Burgundy lip liner and its a perfect match.

Thanks for that tip. I have both products and the lipstick doesn't really do it for me. Hopefully the liner will give it some more personality for me.

I just got a BU of the 287. I love it so much for concealer, I don't ever want to be without it. They need to make it perm.

I have a BNIB hot chocolate lippy if anyone is interested!

 

I was recommended Auburn lip pencil to match Apres Chic and it worked wonderfully well to bring out the "redness" of the lipstick. You could try that :)

Which pro longwear eyeliner is your favorite? I've bought Rich Experience and although is not perfect as an eye pencil, I'm wearing it almost everyday!!! I've reviewed it on my blog (link is in my signature) and I'm thinking about Mountain air and Night trail.. I should put them on my wishlist!

 

 

Rich experience in the water line

I have rich experience and night trial and i have also been using rich experience 5-6 days a week. That is saying a lot because i've been using gel liners for 5 years and have never found a pencil that would stay put on my eyes. I will definitly be buying all of these eventually. They still dont workbon my waterline, but thats not a deal breaker cause nothing does

 

I LOVE Mountain Air in my waterline for a pop of color!!!  And the staying power is amazing.  Rich Experience is next on my list to get.

I've been thinking about getting Mountain Air for that very purpose. I have Hi-Def Cyan but sometimes I may want something that isn't AS bright as HDC and I think Mountain Air just might be it.

 

It's still bright, so I wouldn't call it a very subtle pop, but I agree that it's definitely a step down from HDC in the brightness category.  I bet you'll love it!

This is making me want to go back for Rich Experience.  What eye color did you use there, I just love it!  Is that Fireside MES???

Nope! I've used Nars trio High society! the light mauve on the lid and the purple in the crease (applied damp)! It wasn't so easy to blend but I did it :P

Well, it looks great.  Your look inspired me so I tried Fireside MES all over the lid today paired with Altered State in the crease.  I blended out with Blue Brown pigment and I really liked this look.  I can't decide whether I like Fireside or Winter Pursuit the best, but I am having fun comparing the two.  Tomorrow, I will experiment to try and bring more of the duochrome in WP.

I am obsessed with Porcelain Pink. My dome is already getting flattened...I've worn it nearly every day and love how it looks on my skin. Considering getting another, but do I REALLY need another highlighter??? Decisions, decisions. :)

ooooh Hazyday dont tempt me! I seriously wanted that MSF but talked myself out of it. Lol. Any skin reactions??
