Darn, was really hoping for the balms to be moisturizing, one of my main reasons to buy them .. My list went from all lip balms to maybe 1 or 2

Exactly! Such a shame cause i'm running low on my Hush, Hush Tendertone (only bought one sadly), and was hoping these lip balms would have been a good substitute for it. Will probably buy "Rosy Romance" tho just to try them out, really like the color of that one.

It seems that MAC has yet to get the moisturizing stuff in a tube.  If you want moisture, you have to use a lipbrush or dig it out and get it under the nails (ewww!)

I always use a spatula with pots, so i only use my tendertone when i'm at home. MAC should make Tendertones in a tube lol.

  Mountain Air has been at the top of my list since day one.  I'm going to try to limit myself to two liners to start, since 1) I want to see how it does on my waterline before investing in too many of them, and 2) they'll be perm anyway...but we all know how things usually turn out when we try to limit ourselves with MAC goodies. 

The liners (except the purple one) work great in the water line. I had an extremely sweaty hour at the gym with the navy on and it stayed just fine, without any smearing. It didn't sting or irritate my eyes either. The only drawback is not all of them are equally creamy; the navy was a little tough to line the upper lid with, but it's probably the stiffest one of the good ones - avoid the purple one.

Thanks to your wonderful and thorough reviews, I was already planning on steering clear of the purple one!  I definitely want the teal, and if I only get one more to start, it will be either the navy or the brown.  I definitely believe you that they work great in the waterline, and I have high hopes for them, but after people suggested I get the kohls for my waterline and that turned into a disaster (just call me Lady Raccoon), I feel like I have to try the formula for myself before investing in all of the PLWs (minus the purple, of course).  The only reason I'm starting with two instead of one is because of your review!  I'm also debating if I should use up my black and brown liners that I already have for my waterline before purchasing the PLWs.  I guess that makes the most sense...but I love getting new things!

The navy looks amazing in the waterline - it's very dark, but gives a softer effect than just plain black. This way it won't compete with all the blacks and browns you already are trying to use up!

I read the google translation and it translated her as saying she wasn't sure how moisturizing they were. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to wear any of them long enough to really know either, but I didn't think they were less moisturizing than the Tender Tones. I did try on every single lipstick in TT, Apres Chic and Strength that day, most of them more than once, using the balms in between and my lips were just fine after all that abuse. The one thing that really stood out to me was the fact you could blot these balms down and they wouldn't crumble or get weird, they'd just blot down to a moist, natural lip finish without glossiness. To me that implies a strong level of moisturizing content in them. It won't hurt to try one in a color you like first, but I'm betting that when more reports come in, we will find out that these balms are just as hydrating as most tinted balms are, if not a little more.

I wonder how it compares to Prussian powerpoint liner?  Regardless, it sounds lovely, so I think I'll get it along with my teal liner!  Thanks for your thoughts 

I love Prussian and Fly By Blu so I think this will be a water resistant version close to those--I am stoked!

I am so excited for this collection! I haven't ever commented before so hi everyone! Anyway I really hope I can pick up the blushes, msfs, and the black eyeliner. I kinda want the navy one too but I only wear natural/neutral eye looks so I'm not sure if that would look weird? 

I'm not familiar with this color!  Is it a powerpoint from an old collection?

   I've worn neutral colors on my eyes with a dark blue liner before, and it looks quite lovely!  Won't look weird at all.  Welcome to the forums!
