I like collections that have Perm items in them, gives me a chance to grab them because I forget about Perm line with the hype of Limited edition and quite often grab perm items form collections.

 

I really like the design of  this collection, specially the promo pic

so true - and it often gives me ideas for different ways to combine shades i already have.

I like this. Its a beautiful collection!  I am going to google those shadows to see what they look like and how I can dupe them.   

 

A year of the dragon theme would have been nice this year though.  They could do it in 2024! 

The promo pic is just gorgeous! I really love the packaging so much, I hope it's not an exclusive. I'd have them out on display on the time.

This promo picture and display were set up next to the Archie's girls displays in the photo that was found on the web.    i hope we get this one!  Re promotes and all!

I already have Aztec Brick and Altered State, but I could get the BP (also have) for the lovely print. Don't mind if my money is saved!

I wonder if the translation is wrong and "shiny mercerized" is something like veluxe pearl, and the additional descriptions are for the colors just wrongly translated

I looked for the shade descriptions from previous color collections and from the mac site so that it'd be easier to understand. Prices from the website (regular packaging).

I'm year of the Monkey. Not as spectacular as year of the Snake or Dragon, but I want a Monkey collection.

Hehe. If MAC did a monkey collection in special packaging I'd buy the lot. I don't care much for chimps et al. but I adore the smaller kinds like macaques and capuchins

Year of the Ox would be cool! Could tie it in with a sort of matador-ish theme!

If by any chance this collection comes to the UK, I would get all 3 Veluxe Pearl eyeshadows, and Plumful lipstick.

 

The description says the eyeshadows are 3g, so they are the larger eyeshadows.  I'm intrigued that the pigments are stated as 7.5g, though.

i'm eyeing the shadows as well.  i also like how the beauty powder looks in the photo, but from the description it sounds much lighter...

If this doesn't come to the UK I won't be too sad, I'd probably only get the purple eyeshadows (mostly for the design). I'm pretty sure I bought Shell Pearl with Liberty of London (I don't use it at all, so not even sure, but that tells you how much I need yet another beauty powder, lol). It's pretty, but I don't really need anything from it.
 

I would definitely BU Shell Pearl.Especially as it has this pretty pattern

 

And I would get Altered State and Once upon a Time as FS.I do only have them in palettes so far.

 

I have BUs of the pigments and that is why I can skip them.I might cave though if the containers are special

packaging too.And not only the boxes.

I cannot recall if I have actually experienced Shell Pearl?  It wasn't the one promoted again in LOL?  IF so, that one is a skip.  If it is a shimmery silver (cool) based product, its on + BUs

 

Altered State sounds gorgeous, but wondering if the blurple from one of the quads will scratch that itch for me already.  I will want swatches of Once Upon a Time.  Aztec Brick I am getting b/c I have been lemming it since I missed it in the Spring Colour Forecast collex and have had skippers remorse on that quad!

 

I love both pigments, but not enough to get a big container.  Unless it is at the CCO price

TY--Once Upon a Time is on the list (they had me at VP and beigey pink is really useful) and I think I may have Altered State...must go culling thru the palettes I have.  It is a gorgeous color and would be great as a singleton.

It may have been raised but wanna discuss it here, do you feel that the promo pic is sth done by Chen Man for MAC again?

I mean it's a Chinese theme and the pic with products only has the same layout style of the previous collaboration. I tried to look for news of Chen Man about these photo shots but the Chinese media is rather late about product forecast news.

I know it's rare for her to do close-up that close and I can't tell if the model is Asian or not,, but the PS skills of light and esecially the hair jewellery look so much like her earlier photography work of ancient goddess and video game concept art.
