Aww thanks! I took it today, but before I got this lippie in the mail. :)   I love it. I am such a sucker for packaging but I love this color.

Christine's swatch of Altered State is so beautiful.  I have to resist getting it by telling myself that the gorgeous sparkles don't show up so well on the lid.

Wondering the same thing or if it is anything like Spectacle of Yourself or Saffron?  If it is like Saffron in VP form, I want.  I didn't get it b/c I felt I have something like it already.  I did however, have to snap up Altered State and the Once Upon a Time or whatever its called metal vanilla one.  I skipped Carbon, I already have 3 of those in palettes, minus the print...

Christine's given all the eyeshadows positive reviews, even Carbon. It seems to be one of those shades that are rather horrible in palettes and quads, but is pretty decent by itself. Looking forward to her lipstick swatches.

I only ordered shell pearl from this collection because I figured I could B2M for the lipsticks eventually... BUT the packaging makes them so "exquisite"... I'm practically drooling over them lol I may have to break my no buy til April rule for them, does that make me weak? :/

Thanks for that info, CC. I picked it up because it seemed a bit foolproof, the design is cool, and the box is pretty. LOL. I wish the box coloring was on the lipstick plastic, but then it would have cost more. Imprinting on the products is a fun way to jazz things up though. It's especially cool if they're not going to charge any more for it. I thought this was a nice way to do repromotes/amp up perm products.

Checked my Plumful yesterday and it has the "white dust" on it. I haven't had it very long. Maybe since early last year. Wonder what these lustres will looks like with white dust and a snake print girlhaha.gif

Carbon looks nice this time around! I'm serious. I would get it if I didn't already grab a black pigment from Inglot 2 weeks ago.

I really like this collection. Everything looks so pretty together. Off to put a look together using products my stash.

I was at my pro store today and I showed them my Plumful and the manager was like "where'd you get that". He had no idea it was already online. I told him it was sold out online already but maybe not on pro. How funny.

It's strange. I went to a MAC store to swatch plumful before I bought it online and their entire stock was coated with that white stuff. They had no idea what it was.

GOD! I wish there was a Swatch of plumful before it was released, I thought it was going to be super dark... but it does't look like that at all. I love those "office professional" lip colors, and plumful looks like one. I have a million of those type of colors, can't help... addicted. Oh Oh Oh was one of my purchases from AG which also fell in that catergory for me.

How do you like the altered state and once upon a time?? Yes carbon wld be a waste of money.

That's it! I'm staying away from Lustres from now on. To be fair, my only lustre with white stuff is Plum Bright (and that's just a very light dusting). The other ones are fine. But it's not a good sign that the Plumfuls in the store were covered in it!

 

Maybe it's something to do with the colour too? Both Plum Bright are Plumful are, erm, plum. Perhaps certain pigments are more susceptible to snow.

There are enough swatches of plumful. It's a permanent lipstick so.

Your swatches makes me excited that my Shell Pearl finally shipped last night. If I'm lucky I get it tonight. ;) I was considering skipping for Archie Pearlmatte but this just looks fabulous!

My second MAC lipstick ever was See Sheer which is a lustre. I found it comfortable to wear and not drying at all compared to my first MAC lipstick (MAC Faux) which is a satin finish. I also heart.gif lustres.... in the coral family.
