I think the one p/p I get from this collection will be Frozen Violet.  I'm guessing that must be the purple almost taupe-ish color in the promo pic.  Beautiful!

 

And in total agreement about the picture of the whole collection.  That's a bit bizarre. 

Just realized that Morning Frost seems made for Stolen Moment EDES. I have barely used my G&I PP but when I saw the ones from Posh Paradise that I missed out on I almost went crazy. I see myself getting most of the lighter ones except Let's Skate as I even have back ups. I have been using CCB Shell a lot and ignoring my PPs however CCB seems to work really well with Mineralized ES. I plan to get at least three colors immediately and probably a 4th one a week or so later

My dream PPs to get would be Artifact , Idyllic, Perky and Coral Crepe. I almost bought off Ebay but I wasn't sure if they were too old and dried up esp for the price listed

I really didn't like Let's Skate. So much glitter it irritated my eyes. I wonder what the formula will be like.

I have barely touched Let's Skate, dunno what I am saving them up for but gonna use them up soon with these new additions. I think LS may enhance Swish ES and Neo Nebula. I think I now have more make up than time to apply and use them up properly. I actually like a little bling, sparkle which I why I have a few Pressed Piggies . I think I have my list

Been busy with the new school semester but I'm catching up on new info!  I am absolutely DYING that Let's Skate! is coming back because I love it to bits!  Sparkle-gasm

Forgot I had a purple paint pot guess I'll just need the green.

I hope these are perm.  It would be dumb if they weren't but who knows with MAC.

Blahh.. If these colors came out with a satin finish, like Painterly and other perm ones then I would consider them..

If if they are come back with the same glittery, slippery and uneven texture then DEFF PASS

I'll just get Frozen Violet and maybe Let's Skate.

I do love pp's. I just don't reach for them that often. Half Wild and Imaginary are just so dark. I should start using them as liners. I love Pure Creation, but tend to reach for my blue mufe aqua cream more. I love Guinuine Treasure, but my eyes are just too sensitive right now for the glitter. I still use my Treasure Hunt, it's my fav out of them. The ones in my fridge I'm not opening till a few are gone or no good anymore. I really need to start giving them more love. With the dark ones I'll start wearing them as liners.

I cannot wait to get Frozen Violet and Antique Diamond

 

I do already have all the other colors as "normal" paint pots.But I might stock up on them (except for Let Me Pop).

Dang, even though I need to use mine up these are lighter ones! It's the dark ones I can't seen to use up. I really hope these become perm cause I'd like to get some, just nows not three right time. I hope these are less glittery. In winter my eyes are really sensitive.

I cant do chunky glitter that's for sure. So it will depend.

Anitacska, would you mind to translate the official colour descriptions of the single pps if you have the time and opportunity?

That's why I am not sure about getting Antique Diamond... (based on the promo pics this and the violet one contain little particles, that seem to be glitter...)

I have Morning Frost and I adore the taupe colour of it but the chunkiness of it is a let down... It needs work to look good.

But yesterday I searched for Cham Pale pp swatches, and I am sure that I will get Vintage Selection!

I really don't like glitter filled paint pots unless used as a wash of color type of product. Seems like these are just repromotes. I can't imagine paint pots being anymore long wearing as they already are. What's the point in needing a new formula? Maybe to help sell all of these repromotes? I'm sad that we didn't see something new.

I actually don't mind repromotes - there's a good chance I've missed the products the first time and it allows me to see lots of swatches and read reviews before the launch. All good.

I was hoping for some new shades but I only have Blackground and Dangerous Cuvee from this group. I am excited about Frozen Violet tho. I might pick a few of these shades up! It's most likely a good thing that there aren't a ton of new ones considering it's coming out at the same time as Archie like many people said.

Loooove paint pots though:) I would be happy with a paint pot collection release (w/some popular re promotes in the mix) every six months or so. Mac get on it!

I loved Chilled on Ice in the pot, but it really didn't show up well on my lids except for the glitter that migrated everywhere.  Maybe the PLW formulation can improve that situation???

TY for doing that!  I have wanted Let Me Pop & Vintage Selection since I missed the first round.  I will definitely get Let's Skate & Dangerous Cuvee if the PLW improves the glitter migration thingie, even though I have the LS and haven't opened it, because I love pink.  DC I have and use quite a bit even though the glitter gets all over.  Its tiny glitter so I guess I can live with that.  Also, if it stays put a long time due to its PLW traits, it would double as an eyeliner.

 

Frozen Violet sounds like it will be in the range that is my favorite for eye tones.  I am actually really stoked the most for Antique Diamond the most of the new colors though, because I want s/t close to Cash Flow but greener. Blackground may be one of the only perm PP I do not have, so I am curious to get it in the PLW formula if that is good.  If not, I have other blackish bases like MUFE aqua cream...not sure if I am 100% on Team 8 now the excitement is wearing off, but of all MAC products, these PP are my staples (along with powder e/s and lipsticks) so this collection will get the most of my "cash flow" this season...

I was sort of on the fence about these colours when I initially saw the list.  But now that I've thought about it and looked up the Cham Pale Paint Pot swatches, I'm so excited for Vintage Selection and Let Me Pop!  I already have Chilled on Ice and Dangerous Cuvee and I probably won't back them up because I don't use them all that much as it is.  I am also excited for Antique Diamond - that colour seems like it would pair nicely with Vex, Sumputous Olive, EDES Modern Pewter, etc.  

 

Does anyone thing the formulas are going to be any different than the original formula?  Aren't Paint Pots long-wearing already?  It seems like it might be some sort of marketing ploy.  Hmmm.  Either way I'm excited about these!

I already have Dangerous Cuvee and Vintage Selection. I like them, but they are glittery and fairly sheer, plus there is some migration. That said, the wear time is still as good as regular paint pots. I used to have Blackground, but it's dried out on me. Kind of interested in Antique Diamond and/ or Frozen Violet, depending on how shimmery they are.
