I used my quad maybe twice....

I just don't know if I feel like paying $18.50 for a pot of pain (especially long wearing pain).  I can find that for free in all sorts of places, like the DMV for example.  lol  :)

Nope no brown teeth. I actually line my lips with mac spice lip liner. It warmed it up a bit and made it wearable. Ive tried brown lip liners with it but i felt like spice still made the lipstick look more edgy without scary.

I called yesterday and they didnt have either. They really need to do something about this. I need the 282!

 

It's the only MAC pre-set quad i own... heck, i wore it yesterday  The texture of the shadows is a bit hard, but i like the color combo - a pale minty-lime green, a lavender-pink, and two violets - so i use it.

 

O! M! G! Gotta get that Inglot! I have Playtime...

 

And i'm wearing Airborne Unicorn today! I generally don't line lipsticks, just a few that don't play nicely with my lips. But luckily Airborne Unicorn works fine for me. My friendly enabling MUA even complimented me on it when I dropped by my local MAC today to pick up my VG NIcki2 lipstick and gloss.

This collection is gonna be a big haul for me. I am salivating for both Pearlmattes, and i've been happily using the one Mineralize tinted lip balm i got, love the feel, so i'm lining up for more. Fortunately the summer collection, Temperature Rising, so far is not exciting me - i'm not a bronzer kinda guy-ette. So more for me to spend on Baking Beauties.

ohhhhhh tell me more about Temperature Rising. I don't use bronzers so I may be able to skip that too!

The names are soo cute! But the colors don't sound like they apply to me that much..

I love these kinds of colors. I just dont need many paint pots because I have a few   MUFE aqua creams that seem to match these colors. I only want Eclair, the l/s and I may break down and try one of the mlb. I want both PM but may cut thay down to one after I see them. I wish they would do special packaging for this collection. It would be cute with pastel macaroon packaging, maybe they will do it another year.

 

Sorry, I couldn't resist.  It gave me some good lulz.  :)  That is one of my fave typos to commit for some reason. That and I unfortunately tend to replace the word "public" with "pubic" when typing.  Not good lol.  On a serious note, thank you for keeping all of us up to speed on the collections.  I have had zero time to keep up with this on my own and you are so sweet to do this for us all. 

Its LE but not too hard to find...these are T's images from teh McQueen collection, as you can see, Nile and electo sky have a nice periwinkle tone...hoping temp rising collex will have some colors like these...with some orange as well of course

 

Love, Love, Love the look of Nile e/s. I would really like this shade or something very similar with an upcoming collection. Electro sky is very lovely as well. Tx for the info martiangurll.

I just found out that Jo Malone has a collection of fragrances coming out some time this month that are designed around "decadent desserts".

It looks like I might be coloured in desserts and smelling like them as well come April.

ohhhhh....that will be interesting. the lemon tarte and red currant and cream one sound interesting. I'm not sure I would go for chocolate and orange.

The Jo Malone lady said that the orange and chocolate one smells like those Terry's chocolate oranges that you have to whack on the table to break. I think that nostalgia of doing that every Christmas with my family will sway me to get it, but I will have to sniff it first.

She said there wasn't a dud in the bunch, so we will see.

My list is Devil's Food (how can I resist a plum with that name?) and In For a Treat. I hope IFaT isn't a dupe of Flatter Me, but I can't resist a cute PM.  If it is, I won't have any trouble gifting whichever one I love least away.

as far as bp's go, outside of the bp blushes, i only have alpha girl bp. i wouldn't have expected, but i use it quite regularly all over my face.  it mattifies while also brightening my face up a little when it's looking particularly yellow. i agree it'd be nice to have more bp's that we could use that way - they usually are too light to use for anything more than highlighter, and then how many highlighter's does one need anyway...(rhetorical question obviously :P )

 

ot, but did you get your illamasqua np yet? i'm thinking about ordering one, but trying to reign myself in a little...

Me too! I love fragrances, but so many end up giving me migraines. Jo Malone never does. Her scents are so light and natural smelling. The Blackberry and Bay is my favorite. There was a sample in one of the Nordstrom catalogs a few months ago and I could not stop smelling it. I bought it the next day!

I agree that, from the description, Pink Buttercream sounds very like Victoria's Blush Pearlmatte, but with the addition of the periwinkle leaves.  Pink Buttercream may win for me, since it is a tiny bit cheaper than the Archies Girls one.

 

I can't say I'm struck by the descriptions of any of the lipsticks, and I won't even contemplate buying such expensive lip balms when I have a ton of cheaper ones here already.  I already have Transparent Teal pigment and I love it, but can't see me finishing my jar any time soon; the Pink glitter sounds interesting, though.

 

So for me, I'm thinking I might get both Pearlmattes, Pink Glitter, and (depending on swatches) Fancy Frosting, Mooncake and Eclair Paint Pots.

This has probably been asked but does this collection come in special packaging?
