Some of the pale colors could be a little irritating on my eyes. If they could get it just right to get rid of the irritation, then I'd call 'em 100% perfect.

just peeking in...  nothing to add. LOL

Duo sucks, mono is the best.

All this talk of carbon cracks me up. I actually really like two of the duos I have from style seeker although I keep forgetting I have them.

Don't get me wrong, I like Carbon and it is useful in a quad but I just hate to see it take a space in a quad when I already have a few of them already.

With Mac discontinuing the rest of the veluxe shadows (brown down, kid etc.) maybe these are the new perm replacements...one can dream!!! I loved veluxes.

That would be sweet if this was a new, super dense velvety formula! The original Veluxe collection came out as a summer collection too.

You're probably right about it just being duos, though heh

I wish this would be Megametals!!

I think my local MAC still has a drawer full of those...

I think that Dior is releasing them with the spring collection e.g.

The brow pencils are veluxe, so (a) these sound like veluxe shadows, (b) pencils sure are a possibility, and (c) double ended too.

I still have some eye shadow powder pencils from the 80s (not MAC, of course). They were never a favorite of mine. Nothing like getting scratches on your eyelid from the wood when the powder wears down quickly or breaks off...

Otherwise, I'm going with an eyeshadow duo or some other kind of set.

This made me think of mood rings...anyone remember those?  Imagine "mood eyeshadow" that changes color depending on your mood?  lol

Mood rings are still around, at least where I'm from. Pretty much every tchotchke (novelty toys? kitschy stuff? I don't know, my parents usually use that word to describe them so I figured I might as well use that) place around has a little tray next to the cash register where there's a ton of $3 mood rings. Makes me wonder how much it costs to mass produce those things.

Kind of reminds me of all those lip products that allegedly conform to your lips to create a "perfect shade of pink" or something.

I lost my Velvet Moss and have always wanted to get it again. Them bringing that back would be great. I have Blu Noir and Femme Noir. The texture of the Veluxe shadows are so divine. LOL.

I hope these are like an even better electric cool formula.  I love the feeling of blending those out.  I could go for next gen mega metals though!th_happy1.gif

I had that problem too.  My eyes the morning after wearing them would be irritated and stuck together with sleep.  Sorry for that gross picture puke.gifBut I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one.
