I heard such great reviews on the color and I do agree it is a beautiful purple but the color payoff is terrible! It takes quite alot of swipes to actually get the acquired color/amount. & compared to the other shadows - it didn't seem to last too long my lids either. It kind of looked like purple-grey muck after a few hours of wearing it.

Hue l/s. i've bought this twice, and twice it gets clumped up and crumbles up and breaks off. I called MAC about this and they said they never get complaints about this lipstick, and didn't even send me a new one! i give up buying it.

also, Digit e/s and Parsley e/s. bought them years ago and still haven't found use for them, applies chalky with just no color at all.

All 3 MES I own, Illusionary/Burning Ambition, Bright Side/Gallery Gal, and Family Silver. There's nothing wrong with them really, I just don't reach for them.

The Pigments from Rushmetal. Just not the same quality as some of my older pigments, and I don't use them much.

Fafi Eyes 1 and Cash Flow PP. I like them, but I'm not as crazy about them as I thought I'd be. I use them, but I wish I'd have saved my money for something else.

my fafi quad. i haven't even touched it!!

oh and half of my eyeshadow collection since i haven't touched those either. half of my eyeshadows.. so that's 4 15-pot palettes. this is why i'm broke.

Pinked Mauve p/m (only looked good once and that was at the counter)
Playful e/s (from barbie - I have never used it)
Pink Bronze p/m (it was from a holiday set so I supposed I couldn't avoid getting it)
Sunnydaze p/m (I don't mind it but I think Subtle is a less chunky substitute)
Omega e/s (very blah on me)
Cork e/s (I know its a neutral shade but I can't get it to look nice on me)

mutiny pigment!!!!!! it's beautiful, but i just CAN'T for the life of me get it to work on my skin tone!!!!!!!

and light flush. i wanted to love it so bad, but it's a bit orangey on me

I hate hue lipstick!!! It does nothing for me. And it looks al caky and cracks really easily, even if I use lip balm under it. And also beauty marked e/s and soft ochre p/p, It's way too yellow for me.

Idol eyes as well! It was my 2nd time visiting a MAC store and now everytime I look at it I it's so glittery and messy for a complete beginner like me who has trouble applying mascara

Ok good I'm not the only one that feels this way! I got it because it looked like it would be a really good e/s but I swear it takes sssooo much for it to show up I just don't understand. I have a easier time getting a purple/violet color combining Deep Truth and Stars & Rockets.

I may have replied to this before but I don't think so. When ever I go to the MAC counter the lovely ladies make everything sound so easy and awesome but most of the time I get it home and go "uummmmmmm what now????" So far the e/s's I wish I had waited or passed on are:

Woodwinked ~ they say it's so great with tons of stuff but it's just not me
Te-Te-A-Tint ~ Said it would be my everyday crease but NEVER use it
Haunting (McQueen Collection - can never get it to show up
Coppering - yet to really do anything with it
Shroom - everyone swears by this but honestly it does nothing for me

I just purchased Club and Satillite Dreams but am iffy on Club not sure if I'll use it that much.

Cool Heat. The actual color, I didn't get the whole collection. I love the color, but blues and I aren't the best mix (this one does look pretty good with neutrals on me, though) but I got it the first day it was out and I've hardly used it. Wish I would have waited and thought more on it.

I was just reading through this again, and it's funny how many people say the Fafi stuff. All the hype surrounding it, and now people are regretting the purchases (and I'm one of those!). I'm starting to feel the same way about my Heatherette purchases. Not that I don't like them or would get rid of them, but it's just not stuff I really use. Damn that pink packaging! LOL kidding...

Lol, I'm an impulsive buyer so there's a lot of things I wish I never bought. Some that stick out to me are:

glissade, northern lights, and light flush(I think that's the name) MSF's. I gave into the hype and ended up hating all of these.

soft sparkle liners - there are sooo many other better ones out there for cheaper.

Glitter liners - again, there's so much better for cheaper out there
