This pigment is really pretty in the jar, but in my opinion it's super hard to work/blend with. It looks really nice on your cheeks if you want a sparkly rose colored look but maybe i'll love it more when I figure out the best way to use it!

General Comments on this product: I agree with the initial poster. Rose pigment looks gorgeous in the jar, but it is very hard to apply and is easily rubbed off, unlike other pigments. Other than eyeshadow, I've tried to make lipcolors and cheekcolors out of it, but it's consistancy prevented my attempts from working. I also tried it with MAC Mixing Medium, and it made the color look drabby on the lid. It's pretty pink-gold shine in the jar unfortunately ends there!

This must be my favorite pigment! I even use it as gloss and its a beautiful color! Its a bright rose with gold in it. Its a frosty pigment, and i found that you have to pat on the color, not wipe back and forth. My fav combo for this pigment is with haux in the crease. A super safe combo that you can wear just about anywhere. I ran out of nymphette l/g, and use rose pigment mixed with petting pink lip conditioner as a sub.

Buy again? Not sure

I love the color Rose. It is a warm peach/pink base with very chunky bronze glitter in it. That makes it harder to work with. If I use a good base and pat this on well with a 239 eye brush before the base sets, I can get this pigment to stick pretty well. I like it best as a lip gloss, but again, I smear it on over sticky gloss and it stays fine.

This is one of the older formulations from MAC, but the chunkiness makes it not as much fun to work with. However, that is what makes it look more glamorous. Rose is one of those I do not reach for unless it really works for the look I am going for. It is a great color though which makes me willing to push past the more difficult texture.

This pigment is like Steel Blue in that it has chunkier pieces. This makes it harder to apply and harder to blend however, I would still buy it again because it is such a beautiful color. It works better for cheeks, lips and nails then it does eyes because of the texture!

I got this with the mini set and I was excited about it because it looks so pretty on the bottle but I'm not a huge fan. It's really hard to stick and just kept flaking off even though i put ud pp and paint as bases it kept coming off. it's also a bit glittery for my taste. i haven't tried it as a blush or lip color yet (hopefully i'll like it better). But for the price, it's ok. I'm glad I didn't get the whole thing.

General Comments on this product:

As everyone has said, lovely in the jar, but difficult to apply. I use mine on the lid with a bit of vaseline and find it stays on quite well, although by the end of the day it has slightly creased. Chunkiest and most difficult to apply of the pigments i own, but still lovely

Got this as part of the Temptation Mini set so excelent value for money.
Very pretty color, pink with gold shimmer and looks great on the eyes, lips and cheeks.
I've have not found the texture hard to work with at all, as long as I use a base on the eyes it applies fine.

I love this pigment color! It was the very first pigment that I actually bought from MAC. It looks beautiful on my eyes, lips, cheeks, and nails! I use this pigment for absolutely everything. It is a beautiful pink color with the perfect amount of shimmer

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color great for many uses, cheak, eye, lip shade, i use it on the eye on top of eye primer of course and then i usually apply a base of orangeish gold shadow and put it on top of that it looks soo preety. One the cheaks just a little tiny bit goes a long way havnt used it yet as a lip color but i might try it sometime.

I love it. Such a pretty colour on the lips if mixed with a little fuschia, honey beige or clear gloss and looks amazing on the eyes.

If I want a subtle look I apply straight over UDPP and bare canvas paint, if I want a really *WOW* look I mix it up with one drop of visine.

I find that visine makes the colour easier to work with, and much more vibrant, than any of the mixing mediums I have tried.

I love to pair rose pig, mixed with visine, with a little beauty marked in the crease and bltiz and glitz fluid liner.

I use this pigment predominately as a gloss. I find the texture is too difficult to use as a eyeshadow and i cant use it as a blush because my pores would just suck it up like a vacuum. It was after that that i discovered how pretty it is as a gloss. The gold flecks just pop out and make this pretty on my lips.

This is one of my MOST favourite colours - it can be used everywhere!! I have used it on eyes, cheeks, lips, tinted face powder, body cream, the lot!! As an e/s it can be difficult to use and tend to find the best way is either over a good paint base or mixed with a medium, but it makes a WOW impression and I never get sick of this pigment, I am impressed every time I use it

This one is really great! I've used it as a blush and eyeshadow. I think it's the nicest pink pigment that MAC has made so far. So I would defenetly get it again! I like to use it with the vanilla pigment, they fit really well together.

As others have said, it's a little chunky, and you have to be careful to pat it on. It's an odd color, but I like to use it on the lower lashline (because I'm afraid of the chunkiness making it fall into my eye) with Melon pigment on the lid and Gulf Stream shadow very lightly applied into and over the crease. It sounds a little odd, but it's very beachy and summery looking.

As people have said, hard to work with but I find if I use it with a good base to make it stick to my eyes the payoff color looks amazing. Pinkish with gold. The problem though it never stays on the entire night and it is the one pigment that always gets on my eyelashes when applying.

I have been using it to mix with light lip glosses and it is AMAZING. I highly suggest trying it for lipgloss or even mis it with clear nailpolish.

Overall...great pigment, definitely a must try for darker complexions!
and is incredibly versatile.

I totally regret buying this color. It looked pretty in the jar, but I have no idea what to do with it.

I suppose I could try duping Bad Fairy buy mixing Rose and Pink Bronze with clear nailpolish, but that's about it!
