This is worth every penny! I use it to apply blush and I buff the blush w/ MAC 180 buffer. I tend to baby my skunk brush. It's so soft and applies pigmented blush and even sheer blush w/ ease.
This brush is a dream come true for a person who has a hard time getting your blush to look right.

Buy Again? YES!!!

Okay, I love, love LOVE LOVE my #187 brush. When I first saw it, I was thrilled, as I was on a trip and happened to be going by a MAC counter, so I could try it first hand BEFORE I had heard anyone else talk about it.

With the Skinfinishes, which are one of the most valuable products I have discovered to date, this brush is a MUST! It takes the shimmer and disperses it lightly vs. the highly polished buffed look of many facial brushes. This brush is unique and works beautifully. I am so glad I got it.

The price was not low by any means, but I use it constantly. After almost two years, it is still going strong. Some people say they use it for creams and such too, but at that price, I just keep it for my skinfinishes and other light applications of powdery product.

This is the best brush ever for applying blusher, bronzer and the MSF's.
It gives a light even application and is also good for toning down bright blusher and the bristles are super soft.
It is expensive (£30.00) but worth it.

I didn't think twice about dropping the $$$ for this brush, probably the most expensive one in my collection, the moment it first came out (back when it was LE to counters). I called it the skunk brush and made the MAs laugh at the appropriateness of the name which they had never heard of. I'd been lemming the lancome skunk brush long before MAC introduced this one to counters, but it was too hard to find in Ottawa, so I just snapped it up. I hear it is better than the lancome one, but I haven't been able to compare the two.

Anyway, I love this brush. The different lengths of hair (white ones longer than the black ones, hence the name) pick up the perfect amount of blush/mineralised skin finish and make you just glow. I couldn't live without mine. I especially love using it for highly pigmented blush (in particular, NARS ones) and I think the white bristles turning pinky-red is just adorable once you use it. Don't hesitate!

OMG this was so expensive!! but so darn worth it!! you have to have this brush if you are going to use the MSFs. I even use this for my blushes since it applies it so nicely. i cant even explain it in words. it really buffs on the blush color and blends it very nicely for a natural finish. i have used this for my powder foundations too, but i did find that it is too heavy of an appliction of my taste. i have also heard that ppl have been using it for their liquid foundations. whatever you decide to use it for, you wont be dissapointed. good investment.

would you buy this product again? Yes... I want another one

At first I bought this brush to use only with my MSF and it works so incredibly well with it that I can't imagine using any other brush for this. But now I use it for everything: loose powder, liquid foundation, all my blushes.... works especially well with the sheertone blushes for a sheer wash of color and with the shimmer blush doubles for a polished look. I wish it came in a teeny tiny eyeshadow brush version so I could use it for my mineralized shadows

I put off buying this brush for a long time but I am very glad that I finally did. The brush is incredibly soft and does a superb job with my MSFs. I don't know how I lived without it.

this brush really is all it's cracked up to be. luckily, i got mine at a cco recently, so it was a little less expensive. i've wanted it for soooo long. it really does do it's job. it picks up a small amount and applies lightly and evenly without streaks. i find that with the msf's, it applies VERY sheerly. but if you want more color you can always layer, and it looks perfect! i have a new love in my life now. :makes out with my brush:

I love this brush! I have to say that i am not really convinced that it works great with blushes, but i love love love it with foundaton. I can't believe i used the 190 before this one. The only slight drawback is the occasional hair loss, but that defenitly hasn't put me off

comments: Im absolutely in love with this brush, i use it for basically everything on the face: foundation, studiofix, bronzer, blush, cremeblush. imo this works wayy better and smoother than the 190, i havent used it since i got the 187. Makes foundation go on a lot sheerer and less cakey.

General Comments: This is by far the best brush investment ever! It's one of the softest brushes. Sometimes I just sit in my bathroom on the floor and touch it. Wow, that's pathetic! No but seriously, this brush is magic. I use it for almost everything face related: Blush, Creme blush, bronzer, msf, foundation...everything! Buy this now, if you haven't!

This brush is pure love! It can be used for powders, cremes, even foundation! I like to use this one for my skinfinishes because it deposits the color sparingly and naturally. After I bought this i could wear darker blushes without looking clownish. This is a very good investment.

Would you buy this product again? In a heartbeat.

This brush costs about 80 bucks in Australia so yes very VERY expensive however worth every penny!!! Its ideal for applying heavily pigmented products so it's a must for those bright blushes that are beautiful but could easily go wrong (think Foolish Me). I also like to use it with my MSFs. Love <3

Would you buy this product again? most def.! i have two, and i still want another for my powder

this is a very versatile brush indeed. i have two, one for blush and the other for foundation. seriously, that airbrushed skin look can be yours if you use this with your foundation...i feel like i use less product than i did with the 190, and it blends the product seemlessly into the skin. i have used it with both select spf 15 foundation and studio fix fluid, along with the studio stick, and this brush can take it all. as aformentioned, i also use it with blush, both cream (in stippling motions) and powder (more in little swirls) and i feel like it effectively blends the product without making my skin look like i have on too much make up.
pick one up if you haven't already...it's a great investment for the simple fact that it does so much!

I don't care that I paid a lot for it! It is the greatest brush I own! I apply my liquid (Select or Studio Fix) or cream (Studio Tech) foundation with the 190 and then blend out with the 187, then I use the same brush to blend my loose powder and powder blush after applying with a conventional brush (Mac of course), and it goes from the liquid or cream to the powders with no problem and makes my foundation look so perfect then blends my blush so well! I love this brush!

Would you buy this product again? 150% YES!

One of my fav brushes of all time! It gives a perfect airbrushed finish, no matter what you use it for. I use it for: blush (perfect for really bright ones especially), foundation, powder, MSF, bronzer, hightlight, cremeblush, even light applications of concealer. I've already 3 (plus one 188) and I'm still planning to purchase more since it's so versatile and the finish it gives is fabulous! It's also a great brush for those who are newer to makeup as the application is pretty much fool-proof and it's difficult to go overboard with this brush. It is pricey but worth every penny! Run to get this one!

Comments:
So I was skeptical when I first got it. I didnt think it would work as well as people say, but after I saw enKore's video on how to use it. I fell in LOVE w/ it. OMG great coverage, and I just love how it works w/ MSF, and Shimmerbricks. WOW. I am really, really considering getting a second one. So yeah! The packaging could be better, like a little case or something, I mean it is a pricey brush. But that wont keep me from my second one

This was my first MAC brush purchase.
I did some research before buying and am glad i did.
I can use this brush for everything from applying moisturizers to powder but i mainly use this for my MUFE HD foundation.
I'm actually thinking of getting 2 more of these brushes so i can use them for powder and backup

this brush has many different purposes and it's just fabulous to use in general. even with the price, it feels very much worth it! it's so soft and applies nicely, what else could you ask for? though i do agree that a plastic sleeve should be changed, i have no complaints other than that. ^^

I love this brush for almost everything. It is perfect for very pigmented blushes or MSFs. It is ultra soft and unique. The only down size is that it sheds.
