If MAC blue brown is too intense for you, Sagebrush Pearl may be the answer. The same icy blue shimmer that MAC blue brown pigment has, the base color of sagebrush pearl is a more pastel taupey version of the intense brick red base that is in MAC's Blue Brown.

The effect of Sagebrush Pearl is a more pastel appearance than Blue Brown pigment. I would call it Blue Brown on ice.

Really nice color and it makes the perfect companion to MAC's blue brown pigment. Awesome as a lid and highlighter color with Blue Brown in the crease.

If this is your first sweetscents review, they are phenomenal bargains. The same quality as MAC (each color varies in characteristics as with MAC pigments) sweetscents cost approx $2 each. You can find out more about them at http://www.sweetscents.com/mica_2.html Go to the bottom of the page at the mica pack combos for a selection of pricing packs.

Not all colors I am reviewing are listed on the site right now - it is supposed to be revamped soon, but if you tell the sweetscents lady that you read my review and I reviewed this color, then she will not like wonder how in the world you knew to ask for it. HAHAHA.

Also, she is very helpful in helping you to find colors you might like if you tell her what you want. She helped me find a ton of colors that I just love by talking with me via phone and/or emailing me about them.
