This is a little darker than your 'summersky' blue - it reminds me of that gorgeous blue hue you get when twilight hits the sky in non-urban areas. You really can apply this subtly - so that the eyelid has the most translucent wash, or vibrantly if so desired. I like to apply it thickly to the lash line as a rough liner, smudge that upwards, then apply Stila Charm e/s over it and up to the browbone to get a 'purple sunset' effect. If mine ever runs out, I'll run out to purchase. The colour is stunning and the texture is heavenly.

I really like this color. its a very oceany type color, hence the name i guess. and it goes with so many colors. it also blends really well.

gorgeous blue shadow... very close to the shade of the blue pigment released for rebelrock... looks great with deep truth... has a tendency to drop all over my face during application, however

Lovely medium blue shade with shimmer, very bright in the pan and shows up well on the skin.
A dream to blend.

Very pretty bright blue color. It blends well, but tends to fly all over the place during application. I just don't find myself reaching for it very often. I use it most as a liner.

This is by far my most favorite eyeshadow in my whole collection. I have carmel colored brown skin (NC45) and blackish brown eyes. No other color compliments my skin color, brings out my features, nor gives me the bright, sexy look as well as Freshwater (though there are a few that come very close!) I love how it's versatile and can be blended with so many different colors. And the soft, velvety texture = true love.

A nice shade of blue , I have a hard time blending some veluxe pearls. It is very sililar to RR blue pigment , I use them together. This color works great with clear sky blue pigment.

General comments on this product:

This is a bold, pigmented eyeshadow, which is similar to Blue pigment, but less clear. It looks gorgeous with my NC15 skintone and brown eyes, and I like to wear it with Hycacinth Eye Khol and Dollymix blush. Very smooth to apply, and the best MAC blue in my opnion.

It's a very unique shade of blue. It looks great with Overgrown, Flashtrack, Amberlights and Goldmine.

It's my very first eyeshadow! It's really beautiful - doesn't shows up as scary as it first looked in the pan. I usually pair it with Gorgeous Gold! The results are great.

Would you buy this product again? if i use this one up.

This color is SO gorgeous. It's bright and vibrant. It's very comparable to Belle Azure and also the Blue Pigments. When I swatched it for myself against the Blue RR pigment, it was a duller...more denim shade of blue. But it is a nice color to pop out against neutrals, very nice.

I sadly swiped this away and horribly regret it It is an amazing color, especially when paired with browns and IMO is a MUST have for any e/s collection. I will repurchase soon.

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE this eyeshadow so much. I LOVE wearing blue eyeshadows because it really brings out my eye color, which is dark brown. it brings out the brown in them. This is a very bright color. A ocean like blue, so its not for everyone i suppose. but with tan skin and pink lipgloss, it looks really good. thats how i wear it atleast. I recently had to buy another eyeshadow b/c i had my freshwater in my bookpack and it broke. i still have it to put it back the together, with some methods i got on here. lol but anyway i bought a new one soo thats how much i love this eyeshadow. to make it really bright and bring out its true color, wet the brush and put it in the eyeshadow and it will look VERY pretty!!

Great mid-tone shimmery blue. Easy to blend. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 and wouldn't repurchase was because of personal preference; with bold colours like this I prefer a more matte finish.

I bigheart.gif this color!! It really makes my eyes pop and looks great when teamed up with loads of black mascara

I apply black kohl liner on the bottom of my eye, smudge and then finish of with the layer of this over the top!!
