Help regarding Mac item...Please r/o

I have a Mac black patented vinyl bag (I guess that's the best way to describe it.) with a fold over flap and a velcro closure. It measures about 13 inches long and a little over 10 & 1/4 inches wide. It's currently folded into thirds, not sure if it's supposed to be like that or not. Anyway, my question is does anyone know anything about this item? What it was used for or how old...anything? Thanks.

MAC Tri-fold bag

It sounds like a bag that I was told was a Nordstrom exclusive. Is this it?

There was also a brush set that came in a bag that fits this description. Black on the inside with MAC printed all over it in black, on black vinyl.

Here's a pic where it looks like a plain ole shopping bag, but the plastic isn't that of a regular bag. It's super tough and then there's the fold over velcro top. Anyway, I was just wondering what the heck it might have been used for. :P
