For someone who constantly has rough patches on lips, this product is a god-send. It helps lipstick stay on for hours longer than usual, especially with lustre lipstick - which has the habit of fading quickly.

I also tried it with a chromeglass and despite eating and drinking, at the end of the day, a lot of the product was very much still on my lips! It was only after 12 hours that only a hint of my lip colour remained and looked like it had mainly disappeared.

If you hate reapplying your lip product throughout the day - as I do - then I recommend trying this out for yourself. You won't be disappointed. I'm glad I picked it up below retail on eBay on a whim.

Okay I love the texture of this it's very smooth and not greasy or sticky but I'm not sure it does what it says.
I don't find my lipstick or gloss stay on any longer than usual but it does help with any color bleeding over the border of the lips.

Would you buy this product again? No, I returned it an hour ago.

While this is a good product for making your lips smooth for an easy application (which I desperately need), it is equivalent to any dollar store lip balm. I compared it to my Bonnebell lip glosses, and there is truly no difference. Now I will pay $1 instead of $17 for a primer. Save your money, seriously. Oh, and it did not make my lip gloss stay any longer.

I'd been trying to get hold of this for ages, but everytime I tried to buy it, the counter were out! I finally got a hold of this when i bought Media l/s, and its fab. I wear it under all my lippies now and as long as you leave it to sink into your lips and go slightly tacky, it keeps my lippy on for ages!! I was wearing Dark Side at work the other day and only had to make 2 touch ups all day, and I did a 14 hour day!!

Absolutely brilliant when you get the hang of using it.

I'm a gloss girl myself, so when I heard about this I was a bit skeptical. But it works! It keeps lipgloss on for a long time and acts as a base. Lipgloss sometimes barely showed up on me but with this it puts the color of the gloss at the forefront and not the pigment of your lips. I also like that it smooths and fills in the lines in your lips so that it goes on easy and looks flawless. I highly recommend this for ladies who mostly wear gloss.

prep & prime enables me the option to actually wear lipstick! haha
without the primer I can't even put any lipstick on ... I've bought it several times now and it's a great prodcut for an easy application if your lips are dry!

I agree with a previous poster--- P+P lips not only feels like a balm (thus moisturizing feeling) but it does make my lipstick stay on, without that horrible feathering issue (at least that I've always had). It won't last all day, but the staying power it creates is worth the price, IMO. It helps to let it "set" a minute before applying lipstick.. I have found this helps the lipstick to last longer without disappearing so quickly.

I love this product. I get dry lips making lipstick look awful (especially myth) but with the primer my lipstick looks smooth and even. Would def buy again.

I bought this lip primer during the MAC Friends & family sales. It was 25% off so I though I'll try it since I love to put lipstick so much. The p+p lips feels like a baulm when applied on the lips which I like it since I ALWAYS have very dry chapped lips. I cannot put lipstick without applied a lip balm first and the MUA at my Mac counter told me that lip balms can change the color of the lipstick
so it's a good thing that the p+p lips can replace the balm. But the lipstick doesn't stay longer on my lips so I guess it's not working for me. I'll buy it again only if there's another FFS.

Would you buy this product again? Probably not

I really like the way the lipsticks go on smoothly on my lips after I applied this on... but it does not last that long... and I have the feeling that the it does not help the color last longer at all... Regarding the packaging, I put this in my bag some day... and found the stick broken after a couple of hours... my bag was all messed up so now I leave it in my bathroom... so what's the use? For party days ok

This stuff is a godsend for me. I love my lipsticks but unfortunately they seem to really dry out my lips (and colour sinking into lines or clinging on to flakies on the lips is really not a good look!), P+P is the first product I've found that stops all that completely. I disagree that it's the same as a drugstore lipbalm, I have tried so many and none of them worked for me at all. I don't think the packaging is the greatest, I had to return my first one as it broke after only a couple of uses but this is a minor problem. I love this product and carry it with me at all times!
