I agree with these items...Stereo rose is being repromoted so maybe there's hope for Metal Rock to be released again someday

I'm not sure how they rank in the overall list of hard to find items, but I know I've never had any luck finding these...

^ Those last two are not hard to find if you want to pay a month's rent to get them. I saw someone on here who had both for $50 a piece. I believe they sold in the time it took my brain to register what it read.

Though just this morning Nordstrom shipped out my backup of this, I feel compelled to add to the "hard-to-find" list Boys Go Crazy Dazzleglass!
I missed it entirely when it came out in June; apparently it was available on the Nordstrom site (since I'm disabled, I have to do my shopping online) for about a jillionth of a second.
In July, I phoned MAC, and they acted like they'd never heard of it, transferred me to "Gone but Not Forgotten," put me on hold for a long time, and I hung up in frustration. I also phoned Nordstrom, and *they* acted like they'd never heard of it, either!
But a wonderful fellow Specktra member (she knows who she is!) found one through a relative in another state, and sold it to me for retail!
I was ecstatic, but childishly still wanted a backup.
I figured that was the Impossible Dream, until someone posted yesterday in the Digi Pops thread the news that Boys Go Crazy was back on the Nordstrom site!
I zipped there immediately to order my backup.
I'm thankful I did, because within just a few minutes it was gone again!
I think this one should be renamed "MAC Customers Go Crazy!"
I guess I really shouldn't be complaining, since I got two, for goodness' sake, but it was a very difficult and rather complicated process.

I think that's just an irridescent powder, not a pigment. hopefully that helps you find it a little easier :P

• these are some pieces i have and have been looking for backups and ones i've never been able to find. i try not think twice at the mac counter...because i always think twice and miss out on the amazing pieces.

 

1. hyperreal original foundation, i have half a bottle of 200 left still
2. freezefrost lipglass, i have half a tube of this left. last i checked, it was still good.
3. sticky wicket- honestly i've been just trying to find the container for this one
4. comet blue dazzleglass
5. blue eve, summer showers, or any of the blue or interesting colored lippies
6. hopefully candy yum yum and rocker will be in the mac by request
7. new years yves...i have this, it's actually still good.
8. melody e/s...i have this one too, glad i never swapped it away!
9. the rainbow colored mascaras. i had 'em all, but they def went bad so i back 2 mac'd the container
10. flute eyeshadow. this is un-find-able. not even on ebay.

Gosh, this thread makes me sad.  I so wish I hadn't depotted my spiced chocolate quad.  I hardly ever use the colors in my palettes.  It could of went to a better home.  :-(  Lesson learned.  I wont be depotting LE anymore.

I wish I could find MAC pro blush brush in 174, there are some in ebay but wayyyy to expensive. :( 

I remember Tan Ray - finished off a tube, went looking for it and of course it was gone.

I wonder what ever happened to all those items from that collection. I assume they we're destroyed, because I have never seen any of those items on ebay or elsewhere.

I would love to get my paws on some of them, esp. the blushes and layered glosses.  I think some got recycled into later collections under new names, but who knows.
