Your Favorite Mascara? - Page 45

MAC false lashes in extreme black

NYX Doll Eyes. Came totally out of left field...it makes my tiny stick straight lashes huge and very dark. And since it's a fiber infused mascara, it doesn't smudge or run. I hope they never discontinue it.

Runner up is Clinique Lash Power.

All time favorite is YSL Faux Cils, although is does have a strong scent that I am becoming more and more sensitive to.

Maybelline Lash Blast Fusion. Everything I've tried since that product has just been "okay". Love it!

Max Factor Calorie 2000 Mascara (blue tube)

I have really short lashes and that mascara works really well on mine.

Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils and Covergirl Lash Blast mascara these two are my favorites :)

My high-end favorite is YSL Faux Cil. As for a more mid-end price point, Sephora's Atomic volume does wonders for my straight/thin Asian lashes.

On the high end, I like YSL Faux Cils and Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill mascaras.  Mid-range favorite of the moment is Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes.  Still looking for a drugstore brand I like.  I have several unopened ones from L'Oreal, Maybelline, Revlon and Rimmel that have yet to try out.

Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Effet Extension Lengthening Mascara, not sure if its the formula or the wand but this mascara really does wonders for my lashes, grabs every lash even the little tiny side ones with ease and without leaving smudges everywhere.  Took me a few uses to get used to the wand but so worth the effort.

I really like MAC Opulash

I haven't tried any high end mascaras yet, but sister bought some Dior once and was really really disappointed.

My favourite would probably be Maybelline Great Lash mascara in pink and green tube

Diorshow...I love the soft fullness of the brush.

Love Blinc's Kiss Me.  Great with my sensitive eyes.

I love these types of questions because I'm a bit of a "product junkie" and I like to try new things and these types of questions people with typically answer and ultimately I'll try new. For awhile now my HG Mascara has been Yves. St. Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils.  Prior to that I used to used to use MAC Zoom 1 coat, and then on top of that 2 coats of DiorShow for the effect I was looking for.

Love and use or have used all of your high end picks.  It took me a while to find a drugstore brand that I really liked but I was on a mission!  I found CoverGirl Lash Blast.  I haven't touchd a Covergirl product since I was 11 y/o and was told never to use Covergirl products especially the foundations etc due to they contain Noxema or and Noxema enlarges pores.  Keep in mind this was eons ago....I don't know if this is true or not.....NYX has a Mascara also you might like called Badgal Mascara.

I used to love the mini dou from fresh that sephora carried with firebird and supernova in it, but that was discontinued. So lately I have been showing alot of love to buxom lash.

I'm loving my new recently discovered Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extrme lash multiplying volume mascara(why do they have to make such long names????lol)

I got to try a small tester first and liked it a lot. All the drugstore ones I tried I never was happy with.

MACs Opulash is phenominal!!!

I only seem to love Maybelline mascaras smiles.gif
post #1340 of 1377
Right now, I am loving rimmel sexy curves waterproof mascara.

Yeah, I agree Maybelline mascaras are awesome - I'm usually into MAC for most other products, but sorry the Maybelline Mascaras are soo cool and they constantly innovate (almost too fast to try each Mascara in time blush-anim-cl.gif) so I also absolutely love them! Especially as the price tag is really good! Currenty, I like the volume express THE FALSIES one in waterproof, and there is a new one I really want to try - MEGA PLUSH with mousse mascara in it and a big bendable brush, sounds useful

400

so, i bought (stupidely) covergirl clump cluster after reading all these crazy reviews in magazines and no more cheap mascara for me. I always had beem using Lancome Definicils and why did I want to try something cheap? advertizing, baby...

new mascara....

I used Dior show - too clumpy for me

New favorite (I love experimenting with combos) is Benefit Bad Gal Lash first (for volume) followed by MAC Zoom to darken and define.

Benefit Bad Gal which is good and not so pricey ( 22 € here )

Most. I am a mascara hoarding junkie. I currently have 40 waiting to be used that are still packaged up so they won't go bad too soon. I write down every the date of every mascara I open so I know when to throw them out. If I had to pick faves, they would be all the Diors though Dior Diorshow is my fave of the current five. I also love love TOO-FACED Queen Size Mascara. I love many. I am big on L'oreal mascaras too. They make great mascaras for a lower price. They are the only drugstore brand I will buy. Snobby? I guess but I like what I like. Not big on the NARS or MAC ones, though I have several different MACs.

I will also add that I layer my mascaras. On any given day I am wearing 3 to 5 coats of different brands. It works for me and makes my lashes look amazing. It's my thing but I know a lot of women do it. LOVE mascara. My true weakness in the beauty world. LOL.

Brandyslove, I agree with you about Clump Cluster. I only use L'oreal when using drugstore brands and they work great but tried the Clump Cluster and it irritated my eyes and did not do what it should. Not impressed. Glad to know I'm not the only one who found it lacking.
