Your Favorite Mascara? - Page 46

For lower end drugstore prods, it's only L'oreal for me from now on. I mix theirs with the high end stuff and love the way it looks. Like I said, I hoard mascara and it confounds my family, just like my oversized nail polish collection.

Benefit's They're Real mascara.  I hate how much it costs, but I love it.

my favourite is natureluxe by covergirl. cheap but really good and great!

wow are you a collector? how come you have several unopen mascaras?

Not particularly, at least when it comes to mascara. I probably have around 10 unopened mascaras right now.

Tarte's "Lights, Camera, Lashes" and Dior's Diorshow Extase... both are AMAZING and my HGs!

First coat Lash blast (orange tube, blackest black - not waterproof), second coat l'oreal voluminous carbon black = eyelove.gif... I get asked if i'm wearing falsies at least once a week. Seriously! I doubt i'll find a better combo than this.

I have a new fave in my hoard of mascaras. It's Kevyn Aucoin's The Volume mascara and not only does it add volume. It lengthens and leaves lashes clump free. I layer my mascaras so I save this one for the final layer and my lashes look so long. It's amazing stuff. I think I mentioned it on another thread but I can't hype this stuff enough. I also love Benefit and Buxom mascaras, and of course I will never give up my Lorea'l.

Out of curiosity I went out and bought these today. Holy smokes! The best combo! Looks like falsies! heart.gif

Which mascara is the best one with a decent price tag? My revelons dry out so quickly.

I love essence I love extreme mascara.
It's European brand, and it's quite unexpensive :)

I always prefer those brands that would enhance my lashes and add length. My favorite brands are Lancom Definicils and Falsies lines.

For lower end brands, Loreal makes AMAZING mascaras. For higher end, I have recently discovered a new favorite. Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Mascara. I love to pair it with my Kevyn Aucoin and my Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black. I still have so many unopened ones to try. I have about 30 left in my box that are still wrapped up. I also hoard blushes and lip products. I'm a makeup whore.

Art Deco - All in One (doesn't clump, delivers volume & lenght)

Max Factor - Masterpiece Max (definitely one of the top drugstore mascaras, it's even better than 2000 Calorie)

love Lancôme's Définicils Precious Cells mascara. I have long eyelashes, and with mascara my biggest problem has always been finding a kind that didn't smudge. With every type of mascara I tried before this one, I would wind up with big black circles under my eyes that made me look like I'd been punched in the face or something haha. But with Définicils Precious Cells, I can wear it from morning until night and it does not smudge, flake, or clump. I've even slept with it on, and when I've woken up there hasn't been any residual mascara on my pillow and none on my face. It's a little more expensive than the makeup I normally purchase (about $30 a tube), but so worth it

The only mascara I use is Urban Decay Supercurl
post #1370 of 1390

I have lots of trouble with mascara smudging but am not sure if it's the products (Bobbi Brown, Benefit They're Real) or that I'm doing something wrong.

Okay. I love mascara in general. But I just tried Tarte's Lights Camera Lashes and I think I'm in love! Still loving my others, but some mascaras do stand out as better than others and this is definitely one.

MAC in extreme dimension lash

I'm thinking of getting Diorshow iconic curl?? I really want something that gives volume and curl. Any mac recommendations?

So I do love love love my Bare Minerals Flawless Definition mascara. But when I opened their Curling formula, brand new tube and all, it smelled funky and the wand was COVERED in goop. $18 down the drain. But still LOVING the Flawless Definition, my Kevyn Aucoin and my Tarte. That Lights, Camera, Lashes is AMAZING!!!!

As far as MAC mascaras go, I like Fast Play for its teeny wand. It really separates lashes, but I layer it over ones that give more volume. Opulash is great by MAC too. But I have yet to try IN DIMENSION by MAC, which I own but have yet to use. I've heard great things about it. As far as volume goes, I really like my Bare Minerals Flawless Definition and Kevyn Aucoin's The Volume mascara. He also makes a curling mascara. You can find his products through Barney's, Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom's. He makes a great product. And Loreal's Voluminous is always a big hit for me when it comes to volumizing lashes.

I disliked the Dior show huge brush........ On my eyes it would get everywhere. I use lancome cils booster and then lancome oscillation. I like it. For drugstore mascara i like loreal telescopic. The brush is thin and rubber like the oscillation brush and seems to separate and grab lashes so nicely.

I tried a coloured mascara from Arcancil today ( bright blue ), not pricey and simply gorgeous !

No matter how many different mascaras I've tried I always end up going back to CoverGirl Lash Blast (orange tube). It's cheap and amazing. When I want a little more 'wow', I'll top it with a coat of something else. But I've had bad luck with most other drugstore mascaras.

My favorite is Hourglass Film Noir Full Spectrum

I would say: effet faux cils (YSL), better than sex (TF), They're real (Benefit)

Hypnose Lancome but I never try some famous mascaras like they're real Benefit for example.
